- Highly underrated

Ryan Cabrera is your average teen guitarist who loves to sing about love right? Wrong. He's actually a very good songwriter with a talent just WAITING to be brought out. Normally, I hate guys like Ryan, with the lame hair and the poser guitar playing. But he's not really like that. He just needs a little push. This album is his best, and I have listened to the other albums as well. When I was in 6th grade, this album came out and I had my doubts. But I ended up putting half of the songs on this album on to my favorites playist! Now that I've found the album again I know why. It's processed enough to be pop, but acoustic enough to be slightly on the rock side. Good job!

OMJ!! This album is really good! I used to be a HUGE fan of Ryan Cabrera. I still have his CD somewhere...oh well i really recommend this album and buying all the songs! I personally think this album is alot better than his second! But both are really good. Ryan Cabrera is one of the singers I thought everyone would be obsessed with and think he's really cute, but when I heard On the Way Down i thought maybe he will become really big and he was a really good singer! I watched the Ashlee Simpson show and saw how kind and talenteed he was ( I was obsessed with her too!). I love this album and recommend it to everyone!!

When my friends told me about this guy, they said he was really good, that his songs were really cool and whatnot. Well, I took a look at this album and I have to say I was not impressed. All of his songs sound the same; like he's not making an effort to sound different or unique. He's nothing special. I'm not saying he's bad, just nothing new. It sounds old and boring. I would never reccomend this to a friend.

When I first got this cd, I didn't know who Ryan Cabrera was. I had just heard the song on the way down and I got the cd just so he could sign it when I met him. I listedned to the cd all the time and it quickly became my favorite. Although he has others, sometimes I just put this cd in and listen to it. The lyrics are just breathtaking and romantic. His voice is out of this world, and I simply can't get enough! My favorites are Let's Take Our Time, On the Way Down, True, Exit to Exit, 40 Kinds of Sadness, Echo Park, Take It All Away, Shame On Me, She's, Blind Sight, and I Know What It Feels Like. (yes, I know that's all of them!) The cd is definitely worth buying just to get the bonus track! I already had the cd, but I bought it again just to get this track (I Know What It Feels Like!) But buy it, you won't regret it!!!

- She's is exactly the same lyrics as Christina Dietz's song Restlessness

Wow, its really strange but Christina Dietz published a song called Restlessness in 2003 that has the exact lyrics as "She's" by Ryan. Except Ryan changed "He" to "She" in the stanzas, and then added more stanzas. Is that allowed? Maybe he got permission from her. I like the song however.

Well, to start off, I was bored one night, and being the guitar player I am, I was strummin' away... I thought I might as well ask my friend if I should learn a song for her. She told me "True," by Ryan Cabrera. The second I heard that name, I almost stuck a pencil in my ear...then I thought to myself, "Let's give it a listen, for old times' sake." I also figured he was just another pop idol that would pass. So I looked up the song on YouTube, and I'm not going to lie, as a 16 year old boy in high school, I like Ryan's music a lot. It's inspirational, and very catchy, and I do recommend it!

A Must buy! There are great songs on here like "On the Way Down", "Take It All Away", and pretty much every other song on this album. They get stuck in your head and it's not a normal kind of getting stuck in your head where it is just bouncing around in your head and you can't get it out. Oh no, it's a great feeling because if it's a good song stuck in your head, you can't stop singing it, and that is good in this case. BUY BUY BUY!!!!!

I may have heard his songs somewhere but didn't recognize him. He has a great voice. I recommend these songs "On the Way Down" (and also its acoustic version), "True", "Exit to Exit" and "Take It All Away".

Ryan's voice is INCREDIBLE. Honestly, it really is. And I wasn't one of those people that liked him for his looks at the beginnin' of his career. I liked his music and nothing else. And the music still continues to be great :] Not to say that I dont think he's cute now....hehe But really, Ryan has serious talent. I reccomend Exit to Exit, On the Way Down (Acoustic too!!! <3 ) & 40 Kinds of Sadness.

Yes this album is really awesome and ryan's really great but if you check out the song More Than Words by Extreme, it sounds exactly like True. (the guitar mainly) now im not saying ryan stole it or anything I'm just saying they both sound the same. <3

These songs are kind of cheezy, and the singer is a good singer, but I think he is better off singing another group of songs. This might be something that you'd like to buy, but I really think it's average. Not good. Not bad. Average. And nothing anyone will ever remember tomorrow.

Ryan just preformed a benefit concert at my school and it was just him, his guitar, and a back up singer, and i much preferred it. It really showcased his talent (which he has!) He sounds kinda nasal on this album, but his voice was huskier in concert. I wish i could get a copy of all his songs acoustic like they were preformed tonight.

The whole album is what it seems to be, a pop album. Catchy and easly relateable, ryan proves he may just be around a while longer. Standouts: echo park, exit to exit, lets take our time, 40 kinds of sadness, and on ym way down (bonus track)

I downloaded the whole album, and I LOVE it! If you need a great album that is really worth your money, BUY THIS ONE! Not only is Ryan Cabera really cute, he is one of the most amazing male singers of the 21st century! The songs are very original, and quite honest. i have felt "40 kinds of sadness" after a breakup, and Ryan's song really described this. I'm sure my friends are sick of me talking about this album, though!
