The song "Signs" caught my attention, perfect for horoscope lovers like myself. Unfortunately her succeeding albums fail in comparison, as she gradually became a sell out. This was an average debut album and while it delivered some great singles like Crazy In Love, there are very few good album tracks. Most are slow and dull songs that don't come anywhere close to being hits.

This album is a must for anyone who likes "soft" R&B. One of my fave tracks is "Be with you", something so smooth and 70's about this track. All the tracks are superbly done and there is the smash hit "Crazy in Love" to get everyone up and dancing. A must have album for all Beyonce fans and those who like R&B.
