Love the band, love the album, but hate that itunes does not have the bonus track Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting! I would give this 5 stars but because of itunes, only 4

So I love the album but I noticed that the song Saturday Night's alright is not on there. It's disappointing because Google lists it as being on the album but on here it doesn't show up. What's up Apple?

To repetitive. Once you've heard one song by givememynickelsback, you've heard them all. And for the people that bands are supposed to sound like that, that they can't change there style without sucking. I agree with that. I agree that can't do a drastic style change without sucking, look at linkin park and metallica. What I do not agree with is that all the songs on the same sound the exact same. They should have different rhythms and they should have different chords not just 3 types of power chords. Metallica released three albums based mostly of a palm muted e power chord, yet all of their classic songs have a distinct feel to them, while keeping the same guitar tones and amp settings etc. When people say repetitive they dont want a band to change thier style, they just want them to write songs that aren't copies of each other. Srry givememynickelsback, but rock that doesn't sound like it was copied from another song by the same band isn't real rock.

I love the album but i can't find learn the hard way. I know it's a bonus but i can't find it. Other than that i loved all of their songs. If you are into rock then buy this album!

This album won't change anybody's mind about NickelBack (it barely changed mine with Because Of You, when a friend of mine showed this Cd to me on her Discman), but a good standout track is Because Of You (they should include it in their greatest hits compilation). Do This Anymore got stuck in my head for two days, I sang along to it at our practices. Funny how this was released at the same time as Fuel's Natural Selection & Shinedown's Leave a Whisper.

ALL THE SONGS LITERALLY SOUNDS THE SAME. TOO SLOW FOR MY TASTE. I LOVE NICKELBACKS OTHER TAPES MUCH BETTER. THEY ARE MORE CREATIVE. LOVE 'NEXT CONTESTANT,' 'WHERE DO I HIDE,' 'NEVER AGAIN,' AND 'BURN IT TO THE GROUND' THE BEST.

One of my favorite albums, and probably my fave from Nickelback. Great job, guys. Love it.

someday is the best song on the album and its the best of them!!!

This album was so fresh when it came out, however it was sad to see these guy sell out, and I don't use that term lightly, I'm not one of the few that believes that becoming popular is selling out. Selling out is when you start writing bad songs, because you know they're more radio friendly, and that people are going to eat them up because they are pop garbage out about sex, drugs, and being a 'Rockstar' R.I.P. Nickelback, staying true to your sound would have made you a modern classic, but I'll see you up there with Wham! and the spice girls on Behind the music, in a few years.

therein lies the problem. It sounds like every other Nickelback album you've bought before. I gave it 4 stars because they are good at what they do. Just don't expect anything new.

I love Do This Anymore! Someday is one of my favorites. Believe it Or Not is a good song too. Because of You is a good song. I like Throw Yourself Away. Nickelback is all around awesome! Can't wait for their next album.

This was the first Nickelback album I ever purchased, I was 10 when i first started listening to them and i was instantly hooked and ever since they have been my favorite band! In my opinion this was their best album, just mainstream enough to appeal to a lot of people yet still heavy enough to give the metal heads a bang for their buck, every song on here holds a special place in my heart, Itunes needs to put the exclusive bonus track version here that has three extra bonus tracks that totally rock!

I'm not a huge Nickelback fan and I understand why most people hate them. But this is for sure their best all around album to date. They are not very original or anything but this album sounds like a rock album more so than their others. Some of the songs have depth unlike Dark Horse, every song on that CD was about sex or drugs. Sex sells and Nickelback seems to know that better than anyone because almost every song deals with sex. Like I said I'm not a huge fan however I don't hate them and do listen to them every once in awhile. And if you want to get away from the typical Nickelback then this album is that album. It's far from perfect but it isn't bad. The best songs if you ask me are: Because of You, Someday, Figured You Out, and Feeling Way to Damn Good.

Besides Silver Side Up, this is easily my favorite Nickelback album. To all haters: I've heard a bunch of crap from all of you. 1. Nickelback CAN sing, in fact Kroeger has one of the best voices I've heard. You just can't tell the difference because all you listen to is auto-tuned crap. 2. A disgrace to rock? If you ask me, their one of the few bands keeping rock on the charts. If it wasn't for these guys, rock would be a lot less successful. Notice how since they're popular, a lot more people listen to them, therefore because of them, there are a lot more rock fans out there.

I the musics great a true meatal album. The thing is I don't see why people don't like them because the thing is inmy view people say Ozzy is good but compared to nickelback he's left in the dust. I've got to say that "Someday" might be my favorite song ever!!!!! While this album doesn't have all of their greatest songs I think that it is the best all around. Usually there's a song or two that I don't like, but I didn't dislike any on this album. If you want a great album by Nickelback this is the one!!!!! Well, they're all amazing, but in my opinion this is the BEST!!!!!! KEEP ON ROCKIN' NICKELBACK!!!!!!!!!!!

This may be the best album in Canada but I found it mediocre I actually saw a review in which nickleback was compared to Nirvana. Really???

I remember when this album was released. I was already a huge Nickelback fan thanks to Curb, The State and Silver Side Up. This just cemented them a permenant spot on my playlist. For me, this entire album is a solid listen from the opening cords of Flat on the Floor to the last note of See You at the Show. It does falter slightly after Because of You but it doesn't take away from the albums enjoyability. Stand out tracks for me are the single track Someday, Because of You, Believe It or Not, and Do This Anymore. Personally i don't see why this band gets a lot of hate. They were one of the biggest bands in the world at one time and it was well deserved. When I can sit through an entire album and sing along to every song, to me that is a great band. In closing, The Long Road is one of Nickelback's best albums. Each track has a unique taste and dammit this band can write catchy hooks. To this day i can listen to this album without skipping songs.

I gotta say, this band is something different, and in a good way. "Someday" is probably my fav song of them ever. I feel like it truly expresses a message that I can relate to. Or maybe it's because the song is in my favorite video game, lol. But to be serious, it is a great album, and I absolutely recommend it.

Being a huge Nickelback fan I have all of their albums and love every one of their songs! This is their best album yet. If you are going to buy one of their albums, get this one! The best song being Flat On the Floor. I can't decide on my least favourite, they are all so great! A must-have album for Nickelback fans!

This is a truely "amazing" album each and every song is different and great for a variety of reasons. i could and have listened to the whole album throughout and it really is one of a few albums where this is true. THIS IS A MUST BUY! for all nickelback fans and genral music/rock fans! if you havent listened to them much already listen to this and the singles and youl be hooked! you will soon be by their other albums. Easiest 5 stars i have ever given! (and i can be a critic at times) well worth the money, buy it :) you wont regret it (you may but i very much doubt it)

This album is by far, Nickelback's best album to date. It is packed full of great songs and there is never a dull moment on the album. This has to be their heaviest and melodic effort also. Their latest albums follow the same generic trend, whereas this album had the sound of a band going somewhere in the metal community. Sadly they didn't follow that path and somewhat sold out to suit a larger audience. I cannot fault this album in any way and can honestly say this is one of my all time favourite albums. Every song is 10/10 for me.

This is Nickelback's heaviest album to date. It is the follow up to Silver Side Up and what an album it is. From the first fast paced two minute rock song in Flat On The Floor, To the heavy beat of Because Of You, which as some great riffs. Or the soft rock sounds of Feelin' Way Too Damn Good and my favourite song from the album, Do This Anymore. The whole album is packed full of great tunes and it is a must have for any Nickelback fan.
