I absolutely love Stevie. She has such a unique enchanting sound. No one has matched her style. She is one of a kind.

I am not going to try and say it any differently than everyone else has here. I'l just say that the album is amazing. The "Edge of Seventeen" version live with the Melbourne Symphony has something that always makes me laugh though. Stevie belts out this note (if you can call it that) that lasts from 3:24 to 3:31 that I don't think any human on Earth could replicate. I'm not knocking it by any means because I love it and her, but the sound is sort of a cross between someone vomitting and being stabbed at the same time. It's hard to explain, but if you get the song (which you should, because this version is great) you'll know what I am talking about ;)

They just don't make artists like they used to - there are talented artists, sure - but none that can make dozens of hits over their career.. this album for $5.99 is a STEAL!! I would have paid double.

She's great but....how is this rock?

...1st we had "Timespace: The Best of Stevie Nicks " & then "The Divine: Stevie Nicks" which was a Dutch Import..and then "AGAIN" Stevie Nick's put-out "Enchanted: The Works of Stevie Nicks [BOX SET]" (which is the Ultimate collection of songs) and now the 4th Greatest hits collection: "Crystal Visions - The Very Best of Stevie Nicks (CD / DVD)". This 4th Greatest hits collection is Ok. Not Great just ok. Nice she added songs from the "TISL"album. The only thing great to buy this CD for is the DVD packed with videos, commentary etc. I wish Miss Nicks would have incld. "Bella Donna". "Sable On Blond" & "Wild at Heart". With the Melbourne Symphony it's ok, but really dosen't add much to Landslide". It would have been cool if she had sung "Dreams" W./the Melbourne Symphony, or did some differnt style of arangements with her old songs. Some rarities would have been nice or even some B-sides. Nice that Miss. Nicks is putting a tour together to promote the "So-Called" New CD, but sad she is not bring the tour to Phoenix, Arizona. Overall Rating: C-

Stevie Nicks knocks one out Again! With the smooth guitar playing and the best hits player TomPetty this duo is great! Sounds are nice . Hard to try to find something not to like worry free cause it’s the best! Sweet guitar! Outstanding back up vocals. Stevie shines with the hip rocker Mr. Tom Petty. Rihanna 2005 a ballad sweetest in the universe. Thanks to everyone who made this album I grew up in the 60s & 70s this music is my life Leather and Lace was the greatest hit for weeks and now today most important song so important that sound remained the same in this album exactly as it was made and came out to hear for the very first time in the seventies!!!! Ya ! Thanks remember rock!! Best part of my life!

It is incredibly hilarious to sit and hang out with Stevie as she talks about all of her videos during the commentary!! It is priceless! Stevie sounds so relaxed. She laughs about herself, her singers, the 80's. It is sooooo much fun!! I absolutely LOVE the extraneous Stand Back video (Civil War version). Stevie deserves an award for her commentary. It's the best.

Ok, I took the bait and bought it, even though I said I wouldn't, because this is a compilation, her fourth one.,, but there were some different tracks. Her Enchanted compilation will have most of these, but it will not have the Melbourne Symphony versions of Rhriannon and Landslide, which are lovely re-workings of old Nicks favorites. Stevie's voice comes out particularly strong on these. Also, I love her cover of Led Zep's Rock and Roll, which you also won't find. But I will warn you, if it's "crystal visions" you want, you won't find many here. There are only 2 videos with this collection; I will admit it, I wanted something else to view on my video Ipod, If you want the videos, purchase the CD/DVD collection available in stores. That's why I, an avid fan of Nicks since the 1970s, rate this only 4 stars.

OK so I only gave this 4 because of some of the missing tracks, but I also gave it 4 because because there are some AMAZING tracks as well. Ok, first off, some of u are hating what the Dreams versions sounds like, I have have to say GET OVER IT! I think its wonderful, and I think it's great that we also have a choice in the matter. If you don't like it, fine, pull out FM's CD and listend to the original, but otherwise, I think it's great that she's trying new things. Working with Deep Dish is a big deal to those of u who don't know dance music. They don't give songs that crappy techno noise that sounds annoying. They make quality dance music for a more mature audience. So try and give it a chance. Thats all I ask. Obviously Stevie liked it, otherwise she wouldnt have added it. But anyway, I also gave it 4 because of her songs like Edge Of Seventeen, Planets Of The Universe (one of my Fav songs), and Stand Back. This is a must have!

When I first heard of this CD/DVD compilation, I didn't really see what the big deal would be. Boy was I mistaken. All I can say is that this is not only an album for the Stevie neophyte, but the rabid fan as well. With the previously unheard tracks on the CD and the video collection, one couldn't go wrong with this selection. Spend the extra bucks though and get the DVD version of the album it is definitely worth it.

This album is good! I just wished Stevie would KICK more A**. Her version of Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin is great. I Can't Wait also sets the place on fire along with The Edge of Seventeen and Stand back. She has such a dynamic voice I wished she would cut loose and let us hear it more often. Thanks Road Lizard

This album is not a pop collection. It has the feel of a rock collection. The live tracks are terrific but the non-hit choices, especially from Trouble in Shangri La give this album a rock feel. The album flows freely and it's a totally unique collection. And it's a great surprise—it's terrific driving material. There is definitely no one like her in the music biz!

I love Stevie Nicks! Just pure voice and some instruments nothing else.

Stevie Nicks, to my surprise, has some really good songs during her solo career. Her best ones, of course, come from Bella Donna, with classics like Edge of Seventeen, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around with Tom Petty, and Leather and Lace with Don Henley. Still, why would they exclude After the Glitter Fades? I mean, I do like the other songs on here - Stand Back, Talk to Me, Rooms on Fire, I Can't Wait, If Anyone Falls, Planets of the Universe, and even Sorcerer. Still, I would have wanted Twisted with Lindsey Buckingham from the film Twister. That's a really good song. Silver Springs, I get, because it was supposed to be a Fleetwood Mac song for Rumours, but never made the final cut. But, why? Why do we need a live version of Edge of Seventeen on here when there is the original? Plus, her version of Led Zeppelin's Rock 'n' Roll stinks. Heart does it better. What gave anyone the idea that her cover would be a good track on a greatest hits? Still, the remix of Dreams is not bad, but still, not the original (which is better). However, I do like the live versions of Rhiannon and Landslide. They're different from the ones from Fleetwood Mac's The Dance. Overall, a pretty good collection with a few hits and misses.

Its about time! It has to be the best of her songs with great explanations of what the song meant to her, I never knew. Keep strong Stevie! As long as your around I will keep listening like I have for the past 30 years. I am 53 :)

I will be 49 years young this July. Stevie has been with me for 33 of those 48 years! What a collection she has put together for us! I still get the chills when I listen to many of her songs.... She sounds absolutely divine and better than ever (is that possible?) Stevie "reads between our lines"... therefore she conjours up memories of times past, of loves lost and gained... of life and experiences..of beginnings and endings.....and keeps up begging for more..... those WERE the days and these ARE the days... we are SO fortunate that Stevie is STILL giving so much to us.... I think she knows that many of us in return... do it ALL for her... in her Honor... we make it through the rough and tough times...her words strengthen and empower us... Thank YOU Stevie for putting this together for us... and I loved the "limited edition" postcard and note you sent to some of us..... I was one of the lucky ones!! Bless You Stevie!!

From the first time I heard Stevie Nicks voice, over 30 years ago at age 12, I was hooked. This new CD is a collection of her classic solo hits with new Live versions of Fleetwood Mac classics. The DVD is a must have with great commentary for each of her videos and an amazing look inside the making of Bella Donna...great footage!! Wish I could give this more than 5 Stars!!

I have been a die hard Nicks fan (and Fleetwood Mac) fan for 25 years-grew up listening! A little obsessed. This is an excellent retrospective. I agree with others-the third greatest hits package (fourth if you count an import) for 5 studio CDs-pushing it a little. The extras (live versions and the DVD with commentary) make it worth it for the lifelong fan. For the newbies, Enchanted (although more $$) is a better deal! Without a doubt, I would recommend it!!

Unlike many, many other fans, I came to the Stevie Nicks party late. While a passive fan of her solo work and Fleetwood Mac, I was never compelled to buy a disc until "Trouble in Shangri-la." I have been treated to a most amazing catalog of music. I am astounded that songs written and recorded 30-odd years ago hold up so well. Not to mention, songs that simply were written long ago but never recorded because it was not there time in the case of "Planets of the Universe." The live recordings on this disc are worth the price of admssion alone. The extended "Edge of 17" blew me away. The line "somewhere deep in the middle of the night, baby I think about you" is the tag for another song just waiting to be written/reocorded." In a nutshell, way better than TimeSpace. Enjoy!

If you're a longtime Stevie fan, you probably already have most of these songs. This set is great because of the Belladonna footage and the commentary Stevie offers for each of the videos. She is hilarious! The cost of the CD/DVD is worth it just for the laughs she gave me. I saw Stevie in concert last weekend in Las Vegas and she is truly amazing.

Crystal Visions was released on March 27, 2007, my 50th Birthday. What a gift, what a treasure, what a voice. Memories of happy times sad times and much much more. Thank you Ms. Nicks Looking forward to seeing you live in Mansfield MA this June.

You probably don't want 3 versions of Stand Back and 2 versions of Edge of Seventeen unless you're totally obsessed. Dreams is butchered. Worth it as singles: Edge of Seventeen, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Silver Springs, Stand Back, and Leather & Lace. $4.95.

I have never really gotten into Stevie Nicks' music as much as I did with this album. I especially love her two live versions of "Rhiannon" and "Landslide". Stevie is a great musician and Crystal Visions just helps to prove that. This album was excellently done and gave me the opportunity to hear Stevie's music like I've never heard it before. I bought it because it keeps a nice twist between her music with Fleetwood Mac and her music during her solo career. I wish her music wasn't so underrated. I love Stevie Nicks! And Crstal Visions deserves way more than the 5 stars I gave it!
