tvTORi - 11 years agoI was 11 when this album came out. I've always had a deep passion for music growing up but when I heard this album I feel in love with her voice. The heart that she put in this album I really haven't seen from her since. EVERY song on here is deep & her piano work is amazing. The best of our generation I would say. This will ALWAYS be my favorite album.

lemonice74 - Over-rated...Keys is certainly a great artist, capable of writing and performing astounding songs. However, she has yet to put out a solid album, and this is no exception. This album is, with all due respect, mind-numbingly boring. "Fallin'" and "Why Do I Feel so Sad" are fantastic and among my favorites, but the rest doesn't do it for me. "Girlfriend" and "Butterflyz" are laced with groan-worthy lyrics, and most tracks have undistinguishable melodies.

spontaneous!! - Great Album!!I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!! I’ve loved Alicia Keys’ music for as long as I can remember, but this one- Songs In a Minor is amazing. Really shows her talents; these songs are all somewhat different but with her completely unique voice, she ties all the songs together into a great album. I especially love “Fallin’”, “Girlfriend”, and “How Come You Don’t Call Me.” Totally worth every cent.
