Needs a bit more cowbell.
Great album Should be bought by every 70's music fan
lol
For anyone old enough to remember these songs when they were new: You WILL love this album. Each song will stir up found memories and a few may catching waxing nostalgic (as you brush away a tear or two). This is an excellent compilation of music from the days of AM Radio and 8-Track tapes. It's well worth the money.
These songs epitomize the 70’s. Really takes me back.
These are great hits from mostly the late 70s
I love the variety and without the disco. Awesome album with the original artists!
I’ve got nothin else to say.
Although $17 seems higher than other albums (less than 10 bucks),have to admit that it worth the money,we have 30 songs here. When familiar tunes started and a 50 yo man began to swing... Silly but sweet
RIPOFF. Not the original artists. iTunes advertised it as that, but once downloaded you find out it's the Ohio Players. Not the original songs. Terrible!
I LIVED through this music and I want to say that it's really nice to read that younger people get something out of it. Music doesn't have to be from your time to speak to you, and I applaud you young whippersnappers for realizing that!
Fantastic album from start to finish.
i love this cd! it's full of fun music that's acually good, that you'll want to listen to again. i strongly recommend this cd no matter how old you are. i'm 16 and even though this music was before my time i think it's just amazing! 70s music rocks!
@liz1213 I agree 100%!!! The disco will never die no matter how hard they try. The 70s rocks! and its so awesome to listen to the music our teachers or parents/family members used to listen to!! Im only 12 and I am in LOVE with the 70s and its music!!!Long live the disco!!
That's what I call music
I cannot buy this album because the apple software things I already own it. it’s a different album with the same name. Too bad apple.
I love the artists and wonderful people I think of listening to this album collection.
I really love this song I would recommend people to buy this album I love this album is like dancing I love all the 70s songs so thank you 🙏 more like 70s party greatest hits thank you 😊
All original artists. Have to be so careful purchasing because so many albums have all these great songs but they are sung by people trying to sound like the original. Buyer beware. This album is fantastic and your getting the original artists.
I must agree - Coconut is a real clunker. But the rest of the songs take me back to the 70's.
Not all original....Coconut.......
Wished I would have read the reviews before buying.
LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!!! Best ever.
I was 8 to 18 yo in the seventies and this album covers some of my greatest childhood memories. I highly recommend it! Worth every penny.
I'm downloading songs for my mom's 50th birthday and having fun jamming to the music I grew up with as I go along. I agree with Liz. I'm 31 and love 70's music and hope to pass it on to my kids!!!
Surprised, all original artists. Great collection.
Just missing Mama told me by Three Dog Night. Other than that, it's great!
I love this song
I remeber being in the army out in the field listening to these songs. Helped all of us feel connected to home. Good stuff!
These songs could have used more cow bells!
An outstanding collection for anyone wanting to get an over view of the 70's. I am glad to have grown up during this era and believe (being more than slightly biased) that it was one of the more diverse period of music and got a wide range of music to satisfy all tastses and moods. You cannot go wrong with a collection that goes from Lean On Me to I Can Clearly Now to Walk On the Wild Side and everything in between. Among the clunkers would be Coconut but that is about it, everything else is pretty good. Janis Ian's At Seventeen is still an emotionally powerful song that should appeal to all those disenfranchised by the "popular crowd", but it isn't depressing at all. What strikes me most about the music of the 70's (well, a good portion at least) is the hope it encourages instead of the sort of pessimism the exists in today's music. It was a truly great era to be a music lover and I celebrate all it's peaks and valleys.
All original artists! Excellent compilation of hits. You won't be disappointed.
The fact that Led Zeppelin was one of not THE biggest band of the 70s and so was Elvis and there is no trace of them here. Bad decision
I'm 15 and appriciate and love the music back in the day than most of todays music! I really of had wished i was a teen in the 70s that would of been the best!!
YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that these are the original recordings and not re-recordings which for the most part are always terrible..makes all the difference in the world ! Well worth the price!
Brings back the fun memories! All of the songs in this collection are great😜
