ok this album overall is good just good tho. There are a few stand out songs that are great while some others are just ok. I think joc should team up with maybe a kanye, t.i., akon or flo-rida to make a top song. i dont think lil wayne is his type of music. we havent seen da best yet from yung joc but be pacient the one hes gonna come out with will be sick
this sh** is hard!!!best song is "getting to da money"
This Album Rides 13 Years Later Joc Need To Come Back
this album is really good. his best ever. i would really recomend getting play your cards. i think this is one of the better songs on the album
dis cd is alright
cool
i would give this 3 and a half but i cant. I usually dont go over 3 for mindless music unless it is done well. this is a pretty fun pop type album.
yung joc is crack and gorllia zoe is da man.
How this gets more than 1.5 stars is beyond me. Doesn't deserve my effort to type a review.
gotta give it up for coffee shop but bottle poppin has the wackest beat ever
NICEEEE
look the beats are boss. the lyrics r genius and joc is back u r not gonna get a its goin down but its still fresh. mr robinsons neighborhood comin out this year
I really dont see why people hate this. Its a good album considering what chingy made around this time. Give the guy some credit, and take the time to listen to this album.
I was a little let down by this album. his first one was bangin' and this one sounds like it just got banged. i still remain hopeful though. he'll redeem himself
dont hate. his music go hard
he needs to do like his song and start bottle poppin cause he has made another great album
Marketed music at it's best. More of the same nonsense. Hip Hop head are fed up cause we know when we are being marketed. It has to come from the soul and this is not it. That's why hip hop sales overall have dropped!!
If you purchase each song indivudually (explicit version) that equates to about $20 but if you go the clean version route its almost $10 less. WTF?
play your cards is going to be the next big sing;e. Go Joc
i LiKE DiS CD...i THiNK iTS HiS BEST CD HE MADE. TO ME, i LiKE PAK MAN N BRAND NEW. i STY LiSTENiN TO DEM..BUT ANYWAYS..i LiKE DiZ CD...BEST CD MADE,DATS WAZZUP
this is probs 1 of the best albums of 2007 all the tracks are hot with ill beats check it out
This album is the stuff... Yung Joc is the MAN!
this is not rap... this is like wanna b rap this is sum crap right here has he listend to rap at all? im mad that the people that i though that was tru to hiphop is like turning on us...
i'm sorry yung joc is just another one hit wonder with every song he releases it just seems to get worst. the only song i suggest getting on this album is i'm a g but other then that don't waste your money
WTF are you talking about? I actually like a few songs on from Young Joc. People trying to define what is and what isn't hip hop are outta there minds. KRS 1 for example said Kanye West latest album wasn't hip hop, yea f'ing right! Anyway, Coffe Shop video was funny and the beat was bangin'
dont get this.go away yung joc.retire now. if you people want real hip hop get graduation or curtis
Aight, we all kno dis album kinda waq, BUT there is one song u gotta get. [[Cut Throat]] da best is sooo sikk! And da verses are krazy! It's da only trakk on here dat i really like.
all he is doing id talking and not even makeing sence at that and his mom is a hustlar what the hell!?!?!?!?!? seriously ill give him some advice dont make an album if u cant sing or have any talent at all ok got it so lets not make the same mistake twice so no more albums PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
While it definitely does show his real style, i didnt like it as much as his last album, mainly because he had 2 different sort of beats and lyrics. With dope boy magic, he has a more serious kind of beat and lyrics that backed it up. With I know you see it, it had a kind of relaxed beat, with good lyrics, more of a laid back sort of style. With its goin down, it somewhat combined the 2 into a good beat, with a good song. This has more very laid back sort of beats, kind of like rich boy, except better, but the beats i found arent as good as his previous albums. While the lyrics got a good deal stronger, the beats in my view, somewhat got a little worse. Im only saying this because im more of a hardcore rap person, but overall, this was a good album.
finally an album with songs that make sense
i have tears right now as im writing this. how could hip hop go this low to letting no talent a** clowns like yung joc become famous? i have the solution though. get every new rapper that has become popular in the 2000's, like yung joc, yung berg, jeezy, shop boyz, mims, and people like, theyre managers, producers, record execs, talent scouts who thought these idiots were good in the first place. Basically, everyone ruining hip hop today, put them on a small deserted island somewhere, and drop a nuke on it. then, delete all existence of the records and BOOM! no more terrible rap plaguing the radio today!
great features, great production. Lyrics are pretty good enough. I'll definately love hearing this guy through my ears
Someone must have a hit out for rap if they let this in the stores.
I mean come on....look at the damn cover. I thought this was a joke. Yung Joc is horrible
this is a 100% pure garbage
This Album Is 20 Times Better Than New Joc City! Songs Recommended To Buy:Coffee Shop Play Your Cards Hell Yeah I'm a G Cut Throat Bottle Poppin' Getting To Da Money
Best Song on the Album... Maybe
Hustlenomics
This was a good album Cut throat is my favorite song on dis album
And if you're "B**** F*** me then your B**** F**** the rest." In other words, him and his gang WILL R*PE you (Put an "a" where that star is)! Then having children sing in his songs. I wonder where the parents of these children are? Oh wait!!! They are counting the money they just got paid to have their kids completely contradict everything they will learn about respect and dignity in the future. I wish I could give this guy no stars, because he is awful! Complete and aboslute crap. CRAP CRAP CRAP. Choose yes if you agree.
Yung Joc has a great new album on his hands!
jocs better album. People just think its a bad album probly cause they only listened to coffee shop and thought the whole thing is horrible. Coffee shop is the only terrible song the album
yo guys, ok... play ya cards is the sickest song out of this cd. the rest is ok but not great.
man i can understand you saying that about yung joc but MIMS def has skill listen to superman an tell me that song isnt dope
This is album is just crazy tough. Just listen to Cut Throat, Bottle Poppin' or Play Your Cards (Which sounds alot like T.I.'s What You Know). Coffee Shop isn't much but don't knock the album for that. A good album.
um yup
ummm..this album is ok..but not as good as his first album
my top 3 songs: 1. Coffee Shop 2. Bottle Poppin 3. I'm a G
This wasn't as bad as people said... The guy who wrote the reviews on the songs 1/5 is 100% right
