- Why because I love him

Nas is the best Rapper Ever. He is the Langston Hughes of out time. He is just as poetic in this album then any other. He and Lauryn Hill are my FAV! Both genius in their own right.

- Damn...

This guy murders every track that he is on...but this is his best album and hes never gunna drop! This is deffently worth buyin

- good not great

good album but not great. this album will be known as the album that contained ether the response to the take over. while ether was a very good reply to the takeover it was inferior in my opinion. what people tend to forget was the takeover was more about mobb deep than nas and it took nas a whole three verse song to even come close to being better than the one verse about him on the takeover and he needs to send jay a thank you note because before the takeover nas' career was over. ether contained alot of jokes while takeover took the words out of every nas fans mouth he had fallen off so bad. now back to the album. there was some breathtaking songs on here. when this album is good it's great when it's average it very average. great songs ether intro 2nd childhood one mic you're the man good songs got urself rewind destroy and rebuild the flyest the rest blah this album was not the second coming of illmatic it wasnt even the best album of the year , but it was a very solid comeback for a good sometimes brilliant mc who had lost his mojo.

- What?

I hope whoever wrote that review for ipod has found a real job now, because he (or she) obviously knows nothing about rap. Looks like they were too wrapped up in the jayz/nas beef. This could be a top 10 of all time album.

- My fav Nas album

This is my favorite Nas album!!!! Love this one! Ether killed JayZ! So many great songs on this album!!

- What Goes Around

I gotta say this Nas"s best album in hip hop history. Stillmatic is the 5th best selling clean version album by Nas it was released on Tuesday December 18th 2001 for Columbia Records I have this cool edited album I"m letting it grow on me my favorite song on this clean album is What Goes Around Nas delivers a home cooked flow the beat catchy and the hook is amazing! on Tuesday December 18th 2001 after school my childhood friend and I went to the mall and we bought this album we couldn't stop listening to it and dancing to it ahhh! good memories are here to stay if your a fan of Nas you should buy this album you"ll love it.

- Just great

This is a great album I am 13 and just love this album Best songs Ether Got ur self a gun one mic

- This is Nas 5th album, get ya facts right

Classic! Like all his albums get all of them!!

- Nas' 3rd Classic

Everybody has a right to their opinion and the person who wrote the i-pod review has a right to voice theirs. However, you are out of touch. Ether shut the Hottest rapper at the time and one of the best MCs ever DOWN (for a little while). Super Ugly was weak and Jay Knew it. Got Urself a Gun, 2nd Childhood, Destroy & Rebuild, The Flyest, Rewind & Rule shows Jay & Everyone else that the man was/is Stillmatic. What Goes Around & My Country shows the difference between Nas and most commercially successful rappers - After 9/11 Jay was doing H to the Izzo for a bucnh of cops...Word. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I feel (and it is only my opinion) that artists (espescially rap artists) should challenge authority and not be afraid to say what they feel is wrong/unfair with the world. Rakim, KRS-1 and Chuck D would be proud.

- HIP HOP is DEAD

Nas sure killed Jay-Z wit Ether, you need to buy the album, even though its clean its still good.

- one of Nas' best albums!

the reviewer above obviously missed the point this album is that good and Nas is that dude. The fact that with one album this man dethroned jay-Z, saved his career and made a solid album says alot. You barely hit fast forward on this album. Illmatic, Lost tapes, God Son and Stillmatic are probably the best albums made by Nas and probabaly the best hip hop albums period.

- Nas' third classic

I rock hos, yall rock fellas...

Stillmatic Wiki

Stillmatic is the fifth studio album by American rapper Nas, released on December 18, 2001, by Ill Will and Columbia Records. Nas' lyrics address topics such as ghetto life, American politics, and his feud with rapper Jay-Z. Stillmatic was a commercial and critical success and helped re-establish Nas' career, following a period of critical disappointment with his previous album Nastradamus (released in 1999). It debuted at number 8 on the US Billboard 200 and sold over 342,600 in its first week of sales, eventually going on to sell over 2,026,000 copies in the United States.
