worst piece of crap ever. kimya dawson is not a good singer, im sorry. first of all, all of her songs sound the same. second of all, most of them are just like, 'ba baaa baa ba baa.' its a stupid waste of time. maybe the only good song is 'a well respected man'. cause i love the kinks. and michael cera's kindof cool. but the rest is soo stupid.

This is one of the best soundtracks ever. The movie was great and inspiring and the music even better (jk) but it was close to being better... I love it!

the first time i saw the movie, i fell in love with it, it is just a beautiful movie with amazing comedy, i watch it almost all the time Michael Cena is so adorable, then i heard the soundtrack.....i personally thought the songs were written just for the movie, and performed by people in the movie, but there are so many artists in the soundtrack that are great leaders and inspiration to other artists out there.....i would recommend this album to anyone!

Look I know that some of the more childish Kimya Dawson songs you may not like but there is still a lot of gold in this soundtrack that make it great! You rarely come across love songs anymore as sweet as "All I Want is You", "Dearest", "Sea of Love", and of course Ellen and Michael's version of "Anyone Else But You". Then there's the Amazing Sonic Youth version of the Carpenter's "Superstar"! Also, alot of great older bands play on the album such as Mott the Hoople on "All the Young Dudes" (Note to Juno: 1977 was the best for Rock!), The Velvet Underground "I'm Sticking with You" is beautifully sung by Maurine Tucker, and The Kinks "A Well Respected Man". But don't take my word for it buy it!

The music is really good. Relatable, cute, fun, and dance around your room kind of music. I love it so much

Like i said above the soundtrack is different and i like it, in my opinion it's pretty good, but the song superstar is kind of creepy, or maybe it's just me!

Upon reviewing this album, one thing became clear: The quality of this soundtrack is as spotty and often pretentious as the movie.True, there are some enjoyable moments and high points, but overall it's mostly just pretentious junk and just as forgettable as the movie. This soundtrack is big on amaturish folky tunes which is usually right in my wheelhouse. But the problem with these songs is that far too many of them sound the same. Granted, most are Kimya songs and/or Moldy Peaches, but even non-Kimya songs feature that whole super-amaturish vocal harmonies not matching each other and singing just a step off of each other and it just got to be too much for me. It works sometimes and small amounts of Kimay Dawson songs are pretty enjoyable, but this was just non-stop. The vocals are so off on at some moments that the songs almost sound like they are a "round." Again, rounds are cool sometimes, but definitely not when they're not intentional and just because the singers can't match up. Tire Swing is, by far, the best song on here and Kimya tends to be the best parts of this album in general. The Michael Cera and Ellen Page duet is awesome and would be the best song on the album if it were recorded professionally in a studio, but the recording quality was so poor that i couldn't even justify keeping it as it is. I couldn't rate this albu higher than 3 stars because this soundtrack has far too many throwaways and the majority of the keepers are 2 stars or 1 star. Overall there's three 3 star songs with Tire Swing being the best, four 2 star songs and one 1 star song in Sleep. The rest are all throwaways.

These songs are THE BEST!

Do soundtracks get any better? Every song is just so independant, catchy, and perfectly composed. Kimya Dawson is a saint, and this inspired me to look deeper into her music. " All I Want Is You" is my favorite of this, and Cera and Page's cover of The Moldy Peaches is just phenominal, even though it is a bit on the short side. Also I think I should add that the movie is great too. So if you haven't seen it you should!

This is a phenomenal album, but you really need to have an open mind before listening to it. Yes, I used to hate it. But then, that was when I liked Justin Bieber. If you're a fan of the top 10 on iTunes, Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, or things like that, you probably won't like this. At least, you won't immediately. But truly, all the songs on this album are spectacular.

This soundtrack is fantastic. Whoever was responsible for compilling this soundtrack is a genius in their field. Not only are the songs alone fantastic, the album as a whole flows in perfect harmony. Naturally, certain songs stick out in our mind ("All I Want Is You" and "Anyone Else But You"), but there are plenty of diamonds in the rough ("Sea of Love", "Tire Swing", and "So Nice So Smart"). Not to mention that it is unique and uplifting. Even if you have not seen the movie (which is also quite special), I would recommend giving the soundtrack a try. It's different, no doubt, and it may take a couple of listens to get you into it, but it is worth it. It is simply special, and you will be listening to it years and years from now (like I have). *****(five stars)

I absolutely loved the movie Juno and I strongly recommend it. I admit, when I first heard the soundtrack by itself, I thought the songs were a little weird. However, I grew to appreciate the simple beauty of Kimya Dawson's songs, especially Anyone Else But You. I would recommend this album to those who are willing and open to appreciate unique music.

Juno is one of my favorite movies even if Ellen Page identifies as Elliot Page. She he is one of my favorite. Love the music in the movie

not worth spending all of your money on the album when some of the songs are just humming, such as my rollercoaster. If you want songs that are album only, just search them and buy them off the original CD.

In my first draft of this short review, I commented on what my reaction would be if all hipster "musicians" (on said soundtrack) were suddenly and collectively run over by a giant bus. This review, however, will mention no such thing. I will instead present a question. Since when did lack of true musicianship and technical skill become hip? My thoughts in a few words: Simply painful. I give the movie 3 stars and the soundtrack... a -1 star... a black hole?

In response to "Juno Lover*" this movie was filmed in Minnetonka, Minnesota. There were a few scenes at Ridgedale mall also. Now the "ST" I love the movie (#1in my top 25 most played, followed by many songs from the "ST"). ;)

when i watched the movie i fell in luv with most of the songs so i'm like i need a 20 dollar gift card and instantly bought the album. Especially Vampire, i have learned every word 2 that song that and tire swing. i no most of i'm sticking with you its easy. I like kimya dawson she makes the song sound silly funny and other great things. i say you need 2 buy the album and even watch the movie if u haven't. another great song is Tree Hugger. it captures an exact essence of the silliness and greatness of Kimya. so nice so smart was a good song. loose lips is a song you can tell right away is written by kimya. piazza new york catcher is a good song also. my friends think all the music is weird or pointless. im a fan of kimya especially

This film's soundtrack is fantastic. All of the tunes sink in with the film but it's great because you don't have to watch the movie with the music, the music is just great by itself. It works well with the characters and sense of quirkiness in the movie. By itself it's as good. And I'm loving the tunage.

its weird, its different, its brutally honest. See juno just because reality can be hilarious

Juno is a movie of wonder, it makes you think. Long after i'd seen this film (Today) i am still thinking about it, it leaves a taste of happiness in you. Your happy once you've seen this girl, slightly excentric and different Juno appeals to me in many ways, i am like her. I like all the music she likes and sometimes i feel a little out of place, but Juno is special - this isn't your average comedy-drama-romance, it has heart and a soul. You end up loving Juno, Bleeker and the rest of the cast. The music completes this film, it adds warmth to a scene or helps a more dramatic scene hold its balance, i think the folky-rock style of music is what Juno is, and that is why it fits so perfectly. Juno was packed when i went to see it and i will be going again - definately. The music isnt your normal soundtrack, but then Juno isnt your normal movie. Simply wonderful - my favourite track is 'Anyone Else But You' by Ellen Page + Michael Cera, they handled their roles and that song wonderfully! go see Juno - now.
