I wasn't expecting this from OM....This dj mix is a banger. The programming and mixing skills are exactly what everyone is looking for on a good club night out. AWE-some. Props to Om for bringing the heat.

I really wish om records weren't trying so hard to branch out into so many different directions. with the exception of the dubai series or the ones mixed by chicago talent, its compilations of late end up seeming more watered down and dated than anything. I realize that electronic music evolves, but i miss the old om sound.

I've slowly found my way to OM records via various other record lables, including Naked Music and Moonshine Records, as well as a few other labels that have always continued to inspire. OM has continued to find, produce and release some of the best club beats out there, with a massive stable of some of the best names in the business. This is yet another marvelous facet of their many sound compilations, and I highly recommend that anyone that likes what they hear on "Sounds of OM" should go and search for some of their other works. I'm usually more of a House music fan myself, but this one is definitely funky.
