For an album of original material, as opposed to a dj mix, this one is pretty good and definitely the year's best as of early 08. This is not melodic uplifting trance, so don't expect or compare this to Tiesto. It is more of a dark house record with a progressive feel.

One of the best albums I've heard in awhile deep, dark, keep you movin House.

I'm not here to say this is a bad album at all, in fact its rare that an artist in dance music releases a solo piece (no compilation) and it turns out to be really good. Some of the songs on here are amazing while others are just meh. The only thing you will notice is there are soooooo many build-ups and break-downs on this song. Actually, I don't think there is a song on here that doesn't have one or two in them. I'm not saying this is a bad album. It is well worth the money. I can tell you now, don't be suprised if you hear a lot of these songs in the club this upcoming summer.

Has a nice new age sound to it and is good for when you are just chilling

BUT...I've only heard the album through once. Anyhow, coming from a guy who cares enough to drop "Riff" on vinyl (the original of which is different than the iTunes/CD version), I was a bit meh. Basically, there're too many breakdowns and buildups and not enough fat beats, which is too bad, because he obviously designs some nice percussion. Just when I'm grooving into a track, he drops the beat and lays in a lot of fluff, which I'm not against, but I like it in good measure. He will also build up a lot of these sounds and then drop them considerably when the beat comes back. Can I have both at the same time? Anyhow, I guess I should give it another listen, but these are my initial impressions. Apple and Dozer are two tracks off of the top of my head which stood out. And basically Outrospective is two minutes of music followed by four minutes of shameless self-promotion.

Sushi and Apple are the best songs, the whole album actually just blows my mind, Sander van Doorn is one of the best trance Djs out there, get everything u can from him.

I didn't feel this CD was a breakout effort like Moby's Play or DJ Tiesto's Just Be or anything like that, but it's definitely a strong collection of tracks. I enjoyed it but it didn't knock me out.

This is overall a great album. worth buying.

I thought the tracks were made well. Not the best album I have ever heard. But if you like dark, hard trance then this is a good buy for you.

Pure dancefloor bangers! Nice one Sander!

There are some good songs on this album like lobby and look inside your head, and Outrospective sounded good until it ends half way through and is just some dumb sounding guy talking at a crowd for the rest of the time...lots of weird parts with nothing but silence. Just don't buy Outrospective such a rip off, not even artistic, one way to ruin a great sounding track. I don't know what they were thinking with that one.

Heard a few of his songs on tiesto's pod cast and had to buy it.

Sander is the heir to van Dyk's throne. I am willing to pay for the entire thing because it's fantastic. The best tracks by far are Riff, By Any Demand, 15, Pura Vida, The Bass, Apple, Grasshopper, and Dozer. Just do yourself a favor and buy the whole thing.

One day, laying on my bed, and messin with my Ipod, I stumbled across SVD And was moved, This is my kind of music! I love just about every song! My favorite is look inside your head, if you love wordless, techno, Upbeat, amazing stuff, you'll love SVD He is just above amazing, beyond awesome not even close to rondoculous, HE IS PURE UNBLEIVEABLE! 

This album is nothing short of spectacular. I have listened to it at least 4 times through and I hear and notice new things. This is an incredibly solid new take on house music. Don't cheat yourself out of the sheer audial bliss by buying one track, Supernaturalistic needs to be listened to start to finish.

Finally!! I've been This is one of the best dance albums that has come out in a while. SVD's style and skill cannot be matched by any other artist. Each track is soo good that it is almost like it's a greatest hits album. If you can't dance to this, then you must be paralyzed. Cop this album

For fans of progressive house. SVD gives us a no nonsense, hard hitting taste of techno that will leave you wanting more. . .The track samples are a good representation of this work. Don't waste any more time reading reviews. GET THis Downloaded ASAP. If you have a sound system that's worth a damn, you WILL be moved.

SIA, Grasshopper, Look Inside Your Head, Sushi, Pura Vida are all great.....so the album is worth it.
