Bryan Adams back with one of the best albums of his career. every track a winner. love it. Great to hear you again man. Bring the tour to LA.,
How can you not be in love with Bryan Adams, with his famous hits like Summer of '69 and Cuts Like a Knife? He is still amazing at his age, and definatley can still rock. I am only 14 years old, and I love his music. He is very talented and has a unique, powerful voice. This is SO worth buying!
I'm a big fan of BA for 26 yrs and just saw him play live (acceptable performance) He needs and get rid of producer/songwriter Mutt Lange.(produces shania twain and married to her) Whatever happened to Adams/Vallance team? I wish he wouldn't use a pitch corrector on his voice (an electronic effect singers use live and in the studio) because it takes the realness away (hello!!!!!) You need good songs Bryan!
Great B.A. album. Back to the origins. Great Rock n' Roll and ballad combination.
solid album.... tonight we have the stars is my favorite
You're not supposed to sound this good. Way to update the backgrounds to something tougher. You've found a really good blend of the ballads that you fell into back in '91 and yet didn't sound like you were gunning for it. That's some good music. I'm lovin' it. Walk on by reminds me of watching one of my favorite movies, "Serenity". I was impressed, but my favorite songs have got to be, "I ain't losin' the fight" and "Mysterious Ways" NIIICE
I love bryan adams. Not as good as old school stuff like Summer of 69 but those are classic hits that are hard to bring back. But its awsome hes still out there and writing stuff. I say buy it cause its not bad. Its actually pretty good the more you listen to it.
I have been a huge fan of Bryan Adams for many years...so it all dpeends if you grew up with him or not. I did, and what a come back. Never saw this coming. Great lyrics, music, and easy goign sound as usual, with that rock kick to it. Awesome!!!
Song #11 really features the voice I wanted to hear. Brian Adams doesn't need all the layering of instruments over his voice. I was hoping he would be more raw / modern folk, almost. But I love him and appreciate that this album is a refreshing change from the climactic, cinematic hits of his late 1990's songs.
Bryan Adams takes the hint of his 90's and 80's rock and mixes it into his newfound music. Granted, his lyrics lack a little bit in this album, and that can be a bummer. But man when it comes straight to the music, this album will tear you to shreds. Bryan Adams is releasing his 11th full album and it's a keeper. He has released a few bummers but this CD is definately not one of them. Keith Scott and Mickey Curry make a perfect mix in with Bryan Adams Hot Tracks: I Ain't Losin The Fight, Oxygen, Broken Wings, Mysterious Ways, She's Got A Way
Did anyone else see the cover and immediately think "hey - Ryan Adams Rock 'n Roll album is ranking quite high in iTunes for such an old album" ??
I'm a big fan of Bryan Adams's early work, who isn't? These songs all sound like the same song played at different speeds, same chords, etc. Not to say one of these will end up on your favorite primetime drama, but it lacks any kind of real listenability. Sorry.
Saw him Tuesday May 13th at Memphis, he was as great as ever. New album is a must have for your music collection. I thought I'd Seen Everything sums up it all.
If you listen to Jack Ingram's album, it sounds so much like this one. WOW, are these the same sound guys?
It's nice to see Bryan Adams return with "11" tunes. It's vintage Adams with summer car rocking hits like "Oxygen" and great ballands that only he can sing. Plug in the IPOD, sip the sweet Tea and enjoy this great CD. In "Mysterious Ways", Bryan gives us "Somethin to Believe In". Just when I'd Seen Everything, Tonight We have found a Star.... Bryan Adams.
All the songs are superb. Mindblowing. Long live Bryan Adams..
And i have heard these songs a Billllionnn times, but i still LOVE them I will never get enough of Bry's music!
Solid Bryan Adams...voice and sound has changed little over 20 years. If you liked him before, you'll still dig him now.
Bryan Adams ROCKS!!!! All his music is great, this one is too. I love his music!!!!I would recommend to buy it.
Love the music, love "the man", happy that he is back recording the music I grew up loving. When I saw him on American Idol it took my breathe away, I realized how much I missed listening to his voice. His lyrics are simple and easily understood, something that one can sing along to, in public...without getting arrested for using profanity=) This is Rock-N-Roll as I remember, and love!!!
Do yourself a favor and get this album. One of the best albums released this year. Every song will hit the charts. He still has the same great sound at age 49. This guy can rock, he will pack the stadiums and rock any venue. Get ready for a great music experience and fire up the ipod. BA keep the awesome tunes coming!!!
THE MUSICAL TASTES MAY HAVE CHANGED HERE BUT BRYAN ADAMS CONTINUES TO MAKE RELEVANT ROCK N ROLL THAT'S AS FRESH AS EVER ON THIS NEW CD. I HAVE THE CD IMPORT AND CAN SAY AS A BIG FAN-IT'S WORTH THE 10 BUCKS! GOOD JOB BRYAN! CHEERS MATE! BEST TRACJ-I AIN'T LOSIN' THE FIGHT!
What a great come back after all these years. I have been a big fan for many years but the words to I thought I'd seen everything really tell about two people that are really in love like me and my wife. Great album! Thanks Bryan
Bryan does it again still soundin good. Love the album
I loved this album! From the first time I played it, the songs seemed very familiar with great melodies. Play it from front to back!
Dude i saw him at the grand opera house last night and he is the most incredible person and he sounds just like the cd. i definatly recomend seeing him in concert. Bryan Adams!!!!!!
I had it since it was released on March and I saw him live playing this album with his guitar accoustic, it is one of his best albums since Waking Up the neigborghs, with Mutt Lange´s and Jim Vallance´s collaboration the guy is back to his roots strongly. In my opinion he is one of the most undervaluated artists in the USA, yesterday´s performance on American Idol´s season finale prooved that the guy sttill has the touch and can rock to alot of audiences in the US, young an old. Great songs, catchy, 100% recommended
This album is awesome! Real guitars, not just a couple notes! Great!!!!!!!!!!!
This Is A Very Good Song (Even Though I Havent Heard ALL Of It lol) My Mom Likes It Though And She Says It's Really Good
I have grown up listening to his music for a long time and this is a great album!!!! He still has it.
The album is Great BA! It's been a long time since I heard him at the top of his game. Turn it up & enjoy!
I am a big fan, and Bryan Adams never disappoints. Favorite tracks are 2, 3, 6, and 8, but the whole album is excellent. I will be listening to this for a long time to come.
Been waiting for this to be released and worth the wait. Hope it won't be BA's last.
I am a big bryan adams fan and this album is GREAT!!!
"Reckless" was more or less a perfect, definitive pop rock collection from the 80s. This album isn't "Reckless" (nor would I want/need a repeat) BUT this is a vintage Byan Adams sound. This collection of songs reflect all the reasons we all became fans to begin with. It's new without being anything other than familiar and comforable. If you like BA, you'll thoroughly enjoy this album. And unlike Huey Lewis (and I have ALL your CDs, brother---no disrespect), Bryan's voice sounds essentially the same--ageless.
With the music business being so saturated with commercial tracks that lack heart and soul, I was actually really looking forward to this album. Enough time has gone by since Bryan Adams's last release, that there was a unbelievable chance for him to put out a album that took some risks, and put togther a Album to showcase his tallents and ability (All the people like me who miss good music are aching for a album to rally behind). I feel as if every track on this album with the exception of "Walk On By" is album filler, and does not stand out. Overall I was disapointed due to with this guy's tallent, he could still be putting out great albums. This to me seems as if it was just released by him because it's his obligation as a Artist to release a album every so often. Overall I was disapointed.
love this bryan adams!
3,4,6,7 & 9 are my favorites from this album, but there isn't one song from it that I dislike. My first BA album was "On A Day Like Today", so I kind of started off with one of his lesser know works. Then I went to the upbeat, high energy "Waking Up The Neighbors" album. After loving both of those (plus individual songs like "Heaven" "Summer Of '69") I decided to buy both "11" and "Cuts Like A Knife". This album has the perfect mixture of energy and relaxation. Some people said that he wasn't singing with conviction in some of these songs. Nonsense! I have yet to her a BA song where he doesn't sound sincere. I'll admit, at first I was hesitant about this album because usually after a rocker has made albums for 30 years they lose a certain something with the new albums. Take Eric Clapton for example. He is my favorite musician, but his laid back on stage attitude combined with his new lack of musical creativity (didn't write one song on his new album, all covers but 2) has made him very stale. That's what I was afraid of with this but alas it is not true. The same spark from the "Reckless" album can be found in some of the songs on this album. The chorus on "Broken Wing". Simply stunning. Definitely worth a listen or if you're a BA fan WHO LIKES ALL HIS WORK then go ahead and trust me on this. It's good!
Great Album...Would you expect anything less from Bryan?
great classic voice....was hoping for some great pop hooks and haven't found them...but then again I was oh so wrong about Annie Lennoxs' latest album....said the same thing and now I can't stop listening to it...I'm hoping to be in love with this after a few more listens...
I love this album! I love his work...it's about time he came out with another album! and it's just as good if not better then some of his other work.
Outstanding music -- again! I've missed Bryan -- these songs do not disappoint. Listen to I Thought I'd Seen Everything -- it's tremendous.
Why you don't have the title Miss America on the Track List. This one is listed on the EU released one.I like that Song. Anyway it's a great CD.
This guy has progressed with his music in a way that so many wish they could. This album is hands down a work of art. "I Thought I'd Seen Everything" is a great rockin' tune, in which I could attach this title to Mr. BA ...as I thought I "had" seen everything from this guy...evidently not!
This guy is great. He is probably one of the most under-rated musicians of our time. I heard this on iTunes and knew I had to have it. I definitely recommend it. A Little mellower than some of his other stuff, but still worth a listen.
...where is "Saved"?? It came with my album purchase a while back, but now I don't see it included here. Why?
I haven't even spent time listening to this album a second time, I can say without a doubt already it's classic Bryan Adams. The kind of songs you will listen to on a late night drive. They will become imprinted into your memory just like his earlier stuff. I was afraid we had lost Bryan to mainstream crap, the last couple of albums were not my cup of tea. This album takes me back 20 years to when I was in high school. If you are looking for just plain ole' good music......buy this album!!!
I love everything he writes and sings. Didn't need the reviews to make my mind up to buy it, and as always LOVED THE MUSIC. I see him EVERY time when he is close or not so close to me. Never miss a show EVER..... Never will get tired of any of his songs. He sings them like he is singing them for the first time at each show and you can tell he still enjoys what he does.
This album is great!! I would say it is his best, but I like all of his other songs too!!! I just love this guy!!! He shows his true talent in the slower songs like "Walk on By." He has some "softer" songs on this album, but he mixes them in with other upbeat songs and still stays within his original style. Great album!
Where is MISS AMERICA? Another great song to go with this release, but its missing.
