- SICK!!!!

Skillz flow is SICK!!! its about time he got some recognition. he raps about that true hip hop and nearly every song is a head bobber.

- Skillz still has Skills

Skillz is that Dude ,Great album, slick lyrical rhymes and the beats from new upcoming and established producers, This is a Go Winner

- Skillz is back!

This is a great comeback from one of the most underrated emcees. The man who's been ghostwriting for "rappers' for years shines on this album. This is just as good as his debut From Where???. Great beats, Great lyrics and grreat guests.

- What We Do Is Wrong

Track 3 featuring Freeway is as close as you get to a carbon copy of "What We Do" as it gets without being a duplicate. Since Freeway rapped the track "What We Do" about half-decade ago, it's no surprise he's here on this one. It's just unoriginal. The rest is alright, but with so much unoriginal rap these days, it's painful to see a track basically recycled like this. It's just wrong.

- haha

Haha! Guess whos back. Skillz iz bac with this terrific album.Where u been? We missed u! (P.S. Skillz iz my bestfriends dad)

- skillz has skillz

- D.O.P.E -first review-

EVERY TRACK ON HERE IS PURE GOLD! tHANK U SKILLZ FOR THIS ALBUM! U R A BREATH OF FRESH AIR IN THIS POLLUTED STATE OF HIPHOP!

- All Day Music

every since i heard him on Rap City. I been on this

- Nice!

This sounds really nice and chill. Great lyrical flow. Love the jazzy beats. Reminds me of when East coast was the sh***

- Real Hip-Hop

every track on here = hip-hop iTunes should make this Genre STRICTLY Hip-Hop and not even have /Rap on it. This music is too good to be Rap.

- Another slept on album

This one is a classic!

- Bringin it back

DAMNN! Its 2 am and I am open like a token (NYC represent). This takes you back to when hip hop was good. Free lunch and block parties good. Mad love to Skillz, make it do what it do!

- Quality tracks

Been bangin the two singles off this album on my radio show for months. Knew this album was going to be tight. All quality songs. Big ups to Skillz.

- Solid album!

I was one of the many hip hop heads in Richmond, VA who went out and got this album the day it dropped. I popped it in immediately and listened to it pretty much all the way through. One of my favorite songs of 2007 is on here ("Don't Act" featuring Freeway), although the best song on the album is "Hold Tight" with Black Thought. It's a good album all the way through, even if production wise it kinda keeps the same sound throughout a lot of it. I'd recommend it to anyone who hates the corny commercial stuff that comes out.

- SKILLZ YOU DOIN IT MAN....

I have been listenin to yo music for so long this is your best yet. Cant wait to hear something from you and Timbaland.

- Lyrics to go

he got em.

- Skillz is sick

Man this is exactly absolutely what i wanted, man got skills!

- WACK RAPPERS TAKE NOTES

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST INSTANT CLASSIC REAL HIPHOP ALBUM I EVER HEARD/AND HE CAME FROM MY HOME V.A. NOT NEW YORK OR NEW ORLEANS ....V.A. RICHMOND,VA. 757 VA ALL DAY RECONIZE....SKILLZ IF YOU'RE READ THIS KEEP WHUT YOU DOING F@3K THE DUMB S@#T F@#K THE MONEY KEEP IT WHUT IT IS HIP HOP

- WOW

Thanks Skillz, Blue scholars, common market, Soul Position hip hop needed real MC's in the game. HIP HOP IS ALIVE

- Hip Hop Homecoming

Anyone who truly appreciates Hip Hop will appreciate cats like Common, Mos Def, Jonny T the Human Experience, and a pure lyricist like Skillz. I have followed his music for years and just when you think he has outdone himself lyrically, he keeps coming back with more heat. I highly suggest this album if you are up for an album with some serious lyrical content. Skillz is dope, and he definitely has them!

- Best Hip Hop Album This Year!

I can't believe how good this album is. Skip on through this you like ringtone rap, this is what hip hop needs to sound like. Five stars!

- From Where?!?!?!?!

I'm a VA representative (Richmond) so I'm biased, which only means if I didn't like it I wouldn't say anything, but this album is going to be in heavy rotation on the iPod because it's that good, the production matches his lyrical ability perfectly. Thanks Skillz!

- A breath of fresh air

Hip hop has changed. I remember the days that a hip hop artist was a storyteller. Now, it's about drug use and money. Back then, each artist had his own flavor. This cat is sublime. This is an album that you WILL enjoy and not have to skip around to listen to five to six cuts. Purchase and become enlightened.

- Hip Hop is Back

Skillz is tight with the lyrics and the aggressive beats. My favorite one is number three. I like number eleven also. Skillz is a breath of fresh air and creativity within hip hop right now, and all that what's missing is a DJ who could compliment him with some dope hot scratches.. Tight debut.

- This IS Hip Hop

SInce this kat was Mad Skillz to doing the Rap Up's and Ghost Writing.... Skillz is one the dopest unseen artist out here. This album just shows that ho's money and clothes ain't the only type of ish that sells....

- the million dollar backpack (return to good lyrics)

this is by far one of the best albums of the year hands down!!!!! skillz is back like he left something and he did he left me wanting more. i can't wait for another album by this great lyricist and hip hopper notice i didn't say rapper. he has been doing it since the he dropped head nod and he hit's us yearly with the year end rap up. from the inro you know you are getting a well put together album and tight beats and words. i know why other rapper are scared to put him on their songs cause he'll eat them alive. the tracks to check for are don't act like you don't you ft.. freeway...carzy world is a banger..hip hop died is great. buy the album. he deserves your support. tell a friend to tell a friend hip hop is getting it's second wind.

- I like it

Sick on 2 occasions morning and night !

- SKiLLz...It's in the Name!!!

This album is straight FIYAH! If you understand hip hop...this is the definition. The metaphors and wordplay are crazy. You can see by the collaborations on this albums, he can definitly hold his own and no of them outshined him on his own tracks. I became a fan when he dropped the 2007 Hip Hop Rundown rap and he has not disappointed with this debut. Check out his myspace for crazy extras...THIS DUDE IS TIGHT!!!!

- good album

great album must buy

- A MUST HAVE

This is SICK!!!! I love the album from top to bottom!!!! REAL HIP HOP!!!!! Get Familiar all you up and coming rappers. My Favorite is 3,4,6,&11!!!!!! CONGRATS SKILLZ!!!

- Came across in iTunes new releases

wow really great album and Skillz is really underrated. Truly a diamond in the rough!

- Nice work Skillz

I hate your record company Koch. Or what I call Rap career ender or rap last stop. Or last chance for weak MCs. But Skillz is not a weak MC. Koch need to puch this CD like they never puch a artist before. This CD is a hit. Kwame did a great job on the beats.

- one word

SICK!!!!!!!

- PROUD OF SKILLZ

I've been bouncing my head to Skillz since the Nod Factor. Bought the "tape" From Where, I lost it years ago and I've been looking ever since for it. Skillz is a true hip hop head, people need to respect his grind and now I hope he is able to shine. Big Up Master Skillz. Album is hot. I only support real hip hop.

- CLASSIC

This album iz very dope i don't fast forward a single song, Great Concepts and Great Stories. If You Are A True Head You are going To Love This Album.

- Skillz, you did it again

If you want to know who's holdin down real hip hop, the 1stt place to start is Skillz. He has been doing this for a minute and you can tell by this album. When you have an emcee who can go from simple to complex in 1.3 seconds, he's not an emcee no more. He is a lyricists. Skillz is truly a lyricsts (a dying art nowadays). I can't thank of a track on here that I don't like, but I will give my top 5: 1. Don't Act like you don't know - High caliber production with solid lyrics from both Free and Skillz 2. I'm gon Make It - Inspriational song. Got me through a lot of hard times. Recommended 3. Prechin to the Chior - WOAH!! Skillz can tell some stories and this one keeps you on the edge of your iPod. 4. So far So Good - Another inspirational song letting you know that you can do anything you put your mind to. 5. Hip-Hop Died - Sorry Nas, you lost me when you said it died. It's just sick right now and Skillz is one of those remedies.

- I was wondering when....

Not only does it have the track I've been waiting for 'Don't Act like you don't know' But the rest of the album is AWSOMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

- Sweet!

This album is a must buy!

- Yawn....

Nothing new here. This album could be released by 100 different "artists" and you wouldn't know the difference. Unoriginal crap.

- Breath of Freshness

Feels good when you have the diversity to talk about what's on your mind and it aint the same everyday thing that every other rapper talks about. Skillz has his own swag, a dope delivery and lyrics that push the point to say Hip Hop never left. He's lyrically on point, hooks on Yeah Ya Know and Preachin to the Choir may not have ride so to speak, but content, creativity and style was on point.

- As Usual

Skillz, Thanks for this. As usual he came hard with the crazy metaphors as only Skillz can. You have been missed and Hip Hop surely needs more hot music like this!

- ABOUT DAMN TIME

FINALLY HE CAME OUT WITH AN ALBUM I WAS SO TIRED OF USING THE SAME RAP UP STUFF GEEZ HE'S EFFING GOOD!!!!

- Splitawig says Classic Son!!!!!

At least you earned it son Good Job!!!!Splitawig (Chicago)

- tight

bro, tight, really good, well done, good sound, well produced, and ur voice sparkles with it. i dont mean to get gay but that was tight.
