I have been playing the viola for over 5 years and this has to be the best group I have ever heard, the best part is I know like 3/4 of these songs!!!!

VSQ needs music vids! We wanna see how they are with that, right? *Chants* MAKE MUSIC VIDS PLEASE!!! We wanna also see how they look! I hope you find this useful.

This music is just not that entertaining. VSQ takes away everything that makes rock/pop music interesting (drums, guitar, lyrics) and leaves you with nothing but melodies generated by other artists. The technique required for these arrangements is mainly very simple, and even goes so far as to sound lazy in some places. The music may be fun for a highschool ensemble to get together and play--and sound nearly as good as VSQ--but for any musician anywhere to be making money off these rip-off songs is absurd.

do they have a Violist cuz then ill be disappointed the should have a cello bass viola and violin i hope so

I can't believe they have this!!!! I just got my itouch so I'm new to iTunes, but I found this when I was looking for viva la vida and downloaded it out of curiosity. It's amazing!!!! They are really good, and it makes me kinda sad that there's no bass (cuz I play the bass!!;)) but it sounds really good!! I'm gonna ask if we can play this in our orchestra!!! ;)

This quartet is one of the best I've heard... especially WYLMITE, a personal favorite song of mine. Over all, awesome job - all of the songs sound like the originals and absolutley beautiful. (now I want to play them on my viola. xD)

When I discovered these musicians, I was just amazed at the concept of their work. But, now I am more impressed with the fact that they have almost the same exact musical taste as me. Except the Jonas Brothers and Natasha Beddingfield.

I don't think I have a single complaint about this CD. The Vitamin String Quartet are easily the best when it comes to covering music. "Check Yes Juliet", "Say", "I'm Yours", "Pocket Full of Sunshine", "Shake It", "When You Look Me In the Eyes", "Viva La Vida", "Hallelujah", and "Across the Universe" are all particularly excellent. Yes, that's right: I, of all people, said that I liked a version of "Shake It" and "When You Look Me In the Eyes". Only, of course, because the Vitamin String Quartet played them. And, as far as I can tell, it's darn near impossible for the Vitamin String Quartet to mess up anything. Go. Buy this album. You will NOT, I repeat, NOT regret this.

As a fan of orchestra music I was blown away since the beginning. I love this album. They even make a Jonas Brothers song especially great to listen too. I know how hard it is to make a cover sound like it has been your song since the beginning but I love these guys. There wonderful. They deserve to have an album unlike a lot of tribute bands out there. We love you, Vitamin String Quartet!!! :D

This is an amazing group. I play the string bass and I rarely hear it in most instrumentals. These songs just REALLY bring the bass clef! I <3 VSQ!

Being a string player for years, I love the concept of converting modern pop songs to strings, and as a fan of some of these bands (Coldplay!) it's fun to see the songs you love in a new light. I just wish the quality of playing was a bit better. Yeah, it sounds nice, but the violin could be a bit more... violinish. Either the instrument isn't that good, or the player doesn't quite understand how to play good string music. The instrument sounds overly whiney and I wish they used more vibrato... on both the slow and fast songs. The other thing is about how uncreative the arrangements are. The first violin has the melody every time, with the rest droning on chords. The cello usually has pizzicato runs on the slower songs and driving c string notes on the fast ones, and occasionally a good bass run, but not often. Come on! You've got four amazing instruments here, and you're only going to use one of them? Disappointing, to say the least. Give us some CELLO melodies!!! Thanks for reading. --A Humble String Player

I really wanted to walk down the aisle to something that had meaning for my finance and I, and then I found "I'm Yours" by the VSQ. It was so amazing...I was so excited to play it during our ceremony and everyone said what a wonderful verison it was!

I play the bass, and I'm just amazed at this, i just found these guys by accident and I'm glad I did. There is too many words for how brilliant I think this group is. Now what I would like is if they had some sheet music for sale.

Personally, I do not like these instrumentals. The songs are very good, but I don't like the arrangements that VSQ did. They sound a little cheesy. I play violin and viola, and these arrangements sound too simple or something. I don't really know. Not a big fan.
