Brad Paisley has as many or more hits than McGraw. Paisley has ZERO greatest hits albums. Take note Tim. Tim McGraw is in the full blown Nashville "soak 'em for every penny you can" mode. It's obviously not about the music at all because the songs are crap, churning out one lame cookie cutter song after another. You've got to be kidding me. McGraw will never get another dollar from me.

- Disappointed

I agree...where's the new music??? Seriously, these are good songs, but I don't think "Do you want fries with that" and some of the others on here qualify as "greatest hits". I think it was pretty dumb to put Nine Lives on here, too... If you're a Tim McGraw fan and have his last couple CDs why buy this???

- Great Job Tim!

Why anyone would prefer the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus to this wonderful man is beyond me. Tim is a wonderful singer/songwriter and I am in love with his work. He's so much better than the Jonas Brothers could ever be! His songs are so touching. I almost cry when I hear 'If You're Reading This". And you KNOW that only a TRULY great artsit can have 3 greatest hits ablums, and I'll bet there will be another one in the near future.

- I<3THIS!

i don't care what you say this album is great!

- Not A Strong Set

Obvious his Career is slipping away. Are these really hits? A Few but the rest are fillers. Record Co. must be about to drop him.

- Good but...

ok so he came out with a greatest hits album before "let it go" seriously, he shouldnt be putting albums out just to say he is putting one out...especially if its greatest hits! We want new music! yes if u agree!

- Good songs, but Curb Records is not correct.

This is a good collection of songs, but Tim McGraw did not approve of this album. Curb Records, instead of releasing McGraw's new album, released another hits CD. I will not buy this in support of McGraw. Curb Records- learn to listen to your stars!

- amazing.

i love tim mcgraw. i think he's great. i don't see anythong wrong with releasing a greatest hits every other album. it just shows he's a great artist.

- Worst Greatest Hits Ever

I generally like Tim McGraw's work, but this greatest hits cd is completely stupid. Don't buy this album!!! It just gives the record company more incentive to put out more bad cds like this one. 3 things I really hate about this cd: 1.Tim has only released one album since his last greatest hits cd, meaning that there's hardly any new material that could be put on this cd. ; 2. two or three of these songs could be classified as hits, the others either bombed or weren't released. Don't put non-hits on a greatest hits cd, save them for an anthology or a "best of"; 3. i hate it when greatest hits are not chronological, back when and Do you want fries with that? were on the live like you were dying album, which was BEFORE gh vol. 2.

- Great mix of Tim McGraw

1. "Back When" Great song 5 stars 2. "Last Dollar (Fly Away)" 5 stars 3. "If You're Reading This" 5 stars 4. "Do You Want Fries with That" 3 stars 5. "Unbroken" 3 stars 6. "Can't Be Really Gone" 4 stars 7. "Angry All the Time" with Faith Hill They sing great together 4 stars 8. "Suspicions" My favorite song on this album. Catchy tune. 5 stars 9. "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" Features Kenny Chesney Better than Tracy Lawrence's version. 5 stars 10. "Let It Go" 5 stars 11. "Real Good Man" * live recording 4 stars 12. "Nine Lives" * with Def Leppard 4 stars

- awesome!

i beg to differ about these other reviews its great

- Saves time thinking of album titles.

Why not just call the next album Greatest HIts Volume IV? After all, they apparently don't need any actual hits. Just when you thought Garth Brooks was the master of the re-package...

- Greatest Hits

I would love to buy the album, but I'm afraid from your People magazine story that proceeds from buying your album may benefit the next president and his "on the job training."

- love tim mcgraw and this cd

Most huge fans of Tim already have some of these songs. But, I love "Let it Go" and "Can't Be Really Gone" I can't wait to hear his next full CD. Tim McGraw takes chances and tries things that most country singers would be afraid of. He is the only male artist that keeps country radio progressing. I'm so sick of all the lame songs out there, the guys are singing. Like we are all rednecks and stupid. I like Keith Urban but all his songs sound like one long song. He never changes up the message. It's all you saved me, I'm happy now, blah blah blah. And, I like Rascal Flatts but their last 3 songs have been terrible. Kenny is non-stop on the beach, let's go to Mexico. Tim is the one singer that I will always buy his CD's. He leads the pack and the rest follow. I cannot wait to hear what he is doing next. He thinks about his fans and always gives us a variety of songs. Tim is the only male country singer that excites me as a lover of music. he reaches, tries new things and subjects and knows people want to hear great music, not the same old thing over and over. Go Tim!!!!!!

- loved it....for the most part

I love most of the album but I’m not a big fan of Nine Lives or Suspicions.

- Leftover Tim

Some good songs, but would it have killed them to throw a little something new on the fire? After the disappointment of his last album, it makes the wait of new Tim a little longer. (If you're looking for a missed hit, go back and download "Everybody Hates Me" from "Live Like You Were Dying.")

- Little disappointed

I love Tim McGraw's music, but this greatest hits album really isn't greatest hits. He took some hits, mixed them with unreleased songs that I all ready have and wants us to spend more money. So while I'm a fan, I'm going to wait for the next set of new music.

- Good but not Great

I like all the songs they form a great mix together. However I saw online that Tim McGraw is mad at his recording company for releasing this album. He didnt like that they released this album just one album in between his last greatest hits. He is also is in the process of making another album which this album could compete with in sales.

- Tim's third 'Hit' package hits with great songs!

Greatest hits 3, by the country legend Tim McGraw, provides yet another package with radio smashing songs that will live on forever. From the happy-go-lucky "Last Dollar (Fly Away)" to the heart wrenching "Can't Be Really Gone," this album balances out nicely with songs ranging from 1995 to 2008. Also included, are two guest appearences by McGraw. Def Leppard's "Nine Lives" provides a certain up-beat rock feel. "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" by Tracey Lawrence is a great harmony that fits well in this collection, and is a great event for the stars to sing together with. Hard core fans will also notice the number one hits like "Back When," "Unbroken," and "Angry All the Time" (With Faith Hill) are turned to instant classics making to the third compilation package. And what would this album be without perhaps McGraw's most famous and heart-felt modern song: "If You're Reading This." Greatest Hits: Volume 3 will not dissapoint any Tim McGraw fan, but should be avoided for first time listeners; consult the compilations in order.

- Tracy Lawrence (Find Out Who Your Friends Are)?? Tim McGraw Greatest Hits?

I agree that this is not really a Greatest Hits album. 4 of the 12 are greatest hit for Tim. And what is with Tracy Lawrence track 9 on Tim McGraw's greatest hits? I love Tim's music, but it time for him to get rid of the record company and do it himself. Release and album on his own for free from his website and then have a spot for people to contribute for the album if they want. That would be big news and imagine how many more people would be exposed to Tim's music. I bet he would even make more money then through the record company.

- Wow

Ok, I ADORE Tim McGraw, and I know he didn't want to release this album, so I don't play him. But this is kind of disappointing. I thought Curb Records was smarter than this. I mean, as a country fan, I believe country music people know real music when they here it. But I'd like some new stuff, please? And Tim, could we please get off this whole pop thing? Go back to doing country. But still love you!

- Tim McGraw!!!

I LUV Tim McGraw! i've grown up listening to him and he's an amazing role model! im only 13 but he's one of the greatest country singer/songwriters ever! every song he sings is amazing

- Agreed! What is going on here?!?

After a least 4 or 5 releases and all should have hits (chart toppers) should a Greatest Hits be released! JMHO Although I have the first two and really enjoy them often. They do stand the test of time for me. Let's see about this one.

- Nine Lives

Wow. Who would have thought that Tim McGraw actually worked "Nine Lives" with Def Leppard. That song rocks.

- What can I say

....He's on his third greatest hits album and its great!

- Greatest hits 3

Love country music.Favorite Tim and Faith.I bpught the cd.

- Seriously?!

This is getting ridiculous...who releases a "greatest hits" collection every other album?...I used to think Garth was the one taking advantage of his fans with repackaging the same product ad nauseum.

- Its Okay...

I like only a few songs on this cd. He really dosen't need three greatest hits cds. One could probably cover it.

- Album not approved by Tim McGraw

I read that Tim McGraw objected to Curb Records releasing this CD and Tim McGraw actually has a new album in the wings he has been working on and was ready to release until Curb released this. People should not buy this album if for no other reason then to Support Tim McGraw and send a message to record labels that they can't keep charing people for the same stuff just in a different box. He is quoted as saying "I'm saddened and disappointed that my label chose to put out another hits album instead of new music," McGraw said. "I've only had one studio album since my last hits package. It has to be just as confusing to the fans as it is to me."

- Great Music!

I love all of these songs and I can't wait for some new ones!

- AMAZING

I love Tim McGraw. I'm 15 years old and I love country, ESPECIALLY Tim McGraw. Honestly I LOVE every song on this cd, that's why these are the Greatest hits. This cd is worth every penny. I suggest you buy it because you won't regret it.

- definitely a stretch

most, if not all of these songs are good songs and worth buying. however, this by no means should consititute a greatest hits album. it is insulting for him to release a greatest hits album such as this one. the only greatest hits albums should be compilations such as george strait's 50 number ones.

- greatest hits

Last thing I read about him, he didn't want another greatest hits album, his record company put it out.

- Interesting...

I am a huge Tim McGraw fan, and have been for years. I must say though, this isn't nearly as good as his first 2 Greatest Hits CD's. I think this CD is a little premature, because the song set isn't overly strong. Back When and Unbroken definently belong here (I wondered where they were on his other Greatest Hits CD's), and I am happy to have If You're Reading This, Find Out Who Your Friends Are and Nine Lives, since they aren't on Tim's CD's. And also Last Dollar, Suspicions and Let It Go are good additions from Tim's last album Let It Go. However, the rest of the songs are kind of just filler (Do You Want Friends With That? Seriously??? this was one of the weakest songs, on one of his weakest albums). He should have waited for a few more hits, or added some new material. I bought this CD because I am a firm believer in supporting my favorite artists, but if you are a new listened to Tim McGraw I would definitely suggest his other 2 greatest hits first. And don't get me wrong, these are all great songs, just not necessarily his "Greatest Hits" in my opinion.

- Again!?

I'll pass. What I want is NEW music.

- read the news websites....

he has publicly come out and said that he had nothing to do with the release of this album....that Curb records did it all on their own. and that in fact he has been working on NEW material, but they CHOSE to put out a third greatest hits with out any of his input....and as he was quoted as saying "I'm Tim McGraw, and I don't approve their message" so go and gripe at Curb records and ask them why they didn't release his new material.....

- good, but i already own them alll

i already own um all

- weak

they could not have had a worse version of real good man, any tim fan knows that the live version has the extra verse with te reference to hank williams, weak!!

- Quite the wrong thing

Very bad of Curb. He released one two years ago, how much new stuff can you put on this one? How many people do you expect to buy this? Do you think we're stupid? Definitely a reason why Tim did not approve this being released. What a bad decision to do.

- Good songs but..

what artist really needs to release this many greatest hits. Only like 2 of these songs were greatest hits. I love every song on the album but come on. A few more years and he'll be on Greatest Hits 20. Good lord

- WHAT??!!

These aren't even that great of hits! What a stupid idea! I am tired of all the greatest hits albums from really great artists. I wanna hear more new exciting work, not the stuff on cd's I already own!

- What will he do next?

Honestly people! What more can Tim do next to kill country music as we know it??? My guess... After collaberating with the like's of Nelly and Def Leppard (There's a tour package for ya!) Is that he's going to dig up Zamfir, the king of the pan flute!!! I was happy to see the live version of "Real Good Man" but when I noticed it was 3:16 long, that excitement exited! I like the original much better, but would have loved to see him give us "The ride" with this package! Don't get me wrong though... As an introduction to Tim McGraw, or even (dare I say) country music, this is a decent collection. But... Please, please, PLEASE!!!! Stop the Greatest Hits after every CD!!! I would rather see a live CD come out than this!!!

- Tim Rocks!

This is a great mix of Tim's music...And a great sample for some one who may want to get to know his music! Keep the Tunes coming, Tim! Hopefully, there is some new Tunes on the way! :)
