- Download does not work

Although charged to my credit card. itunes did not download the music. Watch out for this one. They have a glitch in their software.

- Retospective

I think compilation albums I.e hits have their place but often are not a set like performance . This one is and I have always consider it a studio single album. Many groups have used old stuff ,so forget this is stuff from two years of recording and think of it as just a great recording.

- Wow

Buffalo Springfield is a great band! I like Go and say goodbye the best...I wonder what wldve happened if they stayed together longer..

- Achingly classic

These guys were - and still are - so talented. The iTunes write-up failed to mention Jim Messina, who also went on to Poco and then Loggins & Messina. The song are so bright, tuneful, and comforting.

- Awesome

Awesome music. Heart and soul of the 60s

- for what it's worth...it's worth more

much better than just that one song...listen to the whole thing...sit down i think i love you, bluebird...ect....for what it's worth...yeah it's worth the 10 bucks

- Sums it Up

This band was one of the first "supergroups", and this album wraps up their short flight with twelve of their best. Still, to hear the contributions of Richie Furay and Jim Messina, listen to the other THREE albums. I had them all on vinyl in the early '70's, and I hope ITunes offers the second, ("Buffalo Springfield Again") sometime. Great to revisit these guys!

- No Long Version of BlueBird??

I am sure when I had this LP in college it had the long (9 minutes??) version of Bluebird. No idea why it's not on the LP now?

- I want

Soft winds blow in the summer time Young lovers feel so free

YouTube

- rock and roll woman

she don't have to try

- Not well known musical genius

This band is one of the true gems of the 1960's. i love all music and grew up with my father playing cd's of neil young and this group. Now of course most people know of the hit "For What its worth" but every song on this album is brilliant in its own way. If you are into this era of music then i say u must own this album and when u listen to it, listen to it all the way through and listen to it with a clear and open mind ready to absorb it and just let the music take you away. I have this album in vinyl and play it steadily on my turntable at least once a week. P.S. Itunes, you need to change the release date of this, it came out in 1969. Buffalo Springfield's debut album came out in 66, virtually impossible for some of these songs to be on this record if it came out in 66

- Best ever

This is the music I grew up with.. Early Stephen Stills and Neil Young... the best

- Start to Finish

Every song on this album is great! Turn down the lights, pour and bourbon and enjoy one of the best bands ever. They were even a favorite of The Beatle!

- Retrospective

Saw this group open for Rolling Stones at Hollywood Bowl 7/25/66 when I was a young 15 year old girl. Fell in Love with Stephen Stills Then and still Love his MUSIC!!!! Have all of These albums and see Crosby, Stills and Nash Whenever they are performing. Buffalo Springfield was/is one of the BEST groups Ever!!! Miss not seeing Richie Furay and Jim Messina. Have Poco albums too!

- For What It's Worth

For What It's Worth is the best song on the album and my favorite one of all their songs, the song is an anti-war/hippy song and it was in Tropic Thunder

- nice

this is probaly the best rock and roll album of all time!
