B.o.B's first album is amazing, this guy is so talented, he isnt your standard rapper. You know he is good when Lupe Fiasco asks him to tour with him. Really great lyrics on this album and for me The Kids with Janelle Monae really stands out, along with Airplanes Pt 2.

i am not a big fan of industry music especialy when they come out of the South but this man is one big exeption, a great blend of alternative rap/rock. B.O.B has mastered his flow and techniques and all in all this is one of the best albums to come out of the industry this year, still it can't beat the underground

B.o.B has had the best debut rap album for a long time. If you want to take it back to The Chronic and Doggystyle than feel free. Having set the tone for the album with three big singles - Nothin On You, Airplanes and Magic along with two small singles in I'll Be in the Sky and Don't Let Me Fall, he doesn't disappoint with all the non singles having the same flavor and meaning to them. Aside from the singles, the best tracks would be Airplanes Pt. II, with B.o.B and Eminem stepping up and killing it, Ghost in the Machine and Past My Shades. For hardcore rap fans get Bet I with T.I. As well as Fame, and for people looking for a love ballad get Lovelier Than You. Top Five Tracks: 1. Ghost In the Machine 2. Don't Let Me Fall 3. Airplanes Pt. II 4. Airplanes 5. Nothin On You *This is just my preference. Magic is also recommended.

I didn't even consider buying this album, the 30 second previews were all I needed to know that it was not worth the 20 bucks. His songs are listless, boring and cliche, like we haven't had enough songs about love, break ups and the perfect girl. Seriously, artists need to think of some OTHER things to sing about... The only decent song on this album is 'Airplanes, Pt. 11' the rest are just hip/hop trash. Its highly unlikely we will here from this person again, and I for one am glad :)

This is, for sure, the best debut hip-hop album I'v heard in years. B.o.B (a.k.a Bobby Ray) was able to collaborate with fresh-out-of-jail T.I, Eminem and Hayley (from Paramore) which should, alone, show the world how much attention he deserves. Not only that but people should appreciate his sheer talent - he can rap, sing, dance, produce and not only that, but happens to play some of the instruments heard in his album - a claim many rappers could make. Oh and two points to end on - I See Ya...um, why was this even put on the album? At least it's only a 'Bonus Track' Also, putting Part II of Airplanes 'album only' is just asking for people to pirate the song...not a smart move at all. My favorite songs include: Don't Let Me Fall, Nothin' on You, Airplanes (along with part II) and Magic. Full album rating - 4.5/5
