Not a bad album. Most songs seem to capture a "World" feeling. I like R. Kelly's "Sign of Victory" it's more uplifting while Shakira's "Waka Waka" is more energetic. Overall solid album.

the beats of this alblum are mostley up beat and a few slow so if thats not what you are looking for then this alblum isnt for you but i really suggetst buying it it is way more worth the 7.99 i think that most ppl will be plaeased with this alblum
I'm getting mad tired of hearing all of these World cup joints, not having any of my people in them. Ghana is part of the world cup to. Plus this Album would have benefited with K'naan Wavin' Flag and appearance from Jr. Gong and Nas, not R. Kelly. However there are a few good tracks on here though. Masha'Allah for the attempt though

that song wasnt written for the world cup. its really good but nothing to do with the world cup. some brands used it in commercials regarding the world cup.

Where is track 13? It is called No. 1 by 2AM of South Korea, and It is on the actual CD if you buy it in the stores. :/ This soundtrack is bleh without it... That song rocks! Look it up :P
I know it doesn't fit very well with the album, but they should have included "City of Blinding Lights" by U2. You know, the song they use in all of the world cup commercials? (or at least in america)
This is a perfect representation of the World Cup. This album has so much South African energy. I listen to this while I'm working out and I can't help but go harder, faster, farther!

The album is okay but I would really like if Waving Flags was on here. Considering it just fits with the whole sharing futbol in peace with the whole world and hope for third world countries, which South Africa is. :D

Where's Wavin' Flag by K'Naan? It is the most fitting song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It has a ton of versions in different languages, and it is sponsored by Coca-Cola which is a huge sponsor of FIFA, and he played in the kickoff concert in South Africa!!! So put this song in and you'll get a 5

theres good songs in this album (ke nako, waka waka,spirit of freedom, maware maware, one day and game on) , but you are deff missing waving flag.. which i believe should be the main song for the world cup.. instead of shakira!.. ......... and other people said that daddy yankee should be here? come oon really?,,,..

k'naan's wavin' flag was never an official song for the World Cup. he made that song a long time ago, and Coca-Cola thought it would be good to use it as an advertisement for their World Cup commericals, and by doing that they turned it into what now has become so popular.

Shakira has by far the best song, Waving Flags is great too! But her performance at the kick off concert was the best of the night! FIVE STARS FOR THIS ALBUM
