- Awsome

Makes my nipples hard!

- Order of the Black

Enough words cannot express how much I love this album. You will hear massive solos by guitar God and Legend Zakk Wylde. Masterfully mixed and produced unlike anything I've ever heard before. This album is a MUST HAVE! Bleed Black Label and buy now! tSDMFt

- Best rock music I've heard in a while.

I've listened to Linkin Park, 10 years, Disturbed, and countless other cd's that have debuted so far. I loved the new Avenged Sevenfold album.. but this Order of the Black cd takes the cake. Zack really took his band to a new level and proved to me that he knows how to rock. I love it. I can't stop listening to Overlord and Parade of the Dead. Chupacabra/Riders of the Damned are also great tracks. Overall awesome album! It's worth my money for sure.

- Great album from Zakk & Company!

This month, Berzerker extraordinaire (and guitar god) Zakk Wylde and his band Black Label Society released the long-awaited album Order of the Black--their latest since 2006's Shot to Hell. Fresh off of the Ozzfest stage, Black Label will soon be embarking upon their "Berzerkus" tour, which Wylde (and fans alike) have been blazing Twitter and other online social networks to promote. Order's first single "Parade of the Dead" hit radio in June. Like the title suggests, the creates imagery of zombies and the undead. It's fast paced, heavy, and a good choice as the album's first single. A second single, "Crazy Horse" was also released in June. It is Order of the Black's opening track, and I fell in love with it on first listen when radio host Eddie Trunk played it on his Q104 show. "Crazy Horse" sets this album up to be a 21st Century heavy metal masterpiece. Zakk's guitar solo is fantastic. It is fast, crisp, and clear. Placed in between those two tracks is "Overlord"--a strong and heavy number with outrageous roaring riffs. The chorus is memorable, and the very end of the song, Zakk (being the jokester that he is) repeatedly sings "she is my overlord" in a very comical voice. Order of the Black contains four ballads--two of which are "Time Waits for No One" and "Shallow Grave." "Time Waits for No One" has similar sound to Black Label Society's previous ballads. It is a beautiful, piano-heavy song about accepting how we cannot change time and that we only have a finite amount of time on Earth. The song's line that begins with "no final curtain call" is the total "lighter moment" that rock fans have been awaiting for years. On the other hand, "Shallow Grave" blew me away because of how unique it is. It has the same intense and emotional lyrics as Black Label's other ballads, but it features an interesting change in musical style. As my friend and metal enthusiast (the infamous @JohnRiot of Twitter) best described it, the band "really out Coldplayed Coldplay" with this one. When if first heard it, I did noticed that it had sort of a somber alt rock feel to it. The pace, the tone, and some of the instrumentation of it were much like a Coldplay or Snow Patrol song. The lyrics about mourning the physical and/or emotional death of oneself fit this type of music very well. This song is without a doubt in my top three from Order of the Black. "Godspeed Hellbound" is another one of my favorite rockers from Order of the Black. The guitar and drums are extremely fast, and it's great for cranking up even louder than it already is. This is an energetic and anthemic song that is fun to drive or exercise to--much like "Fire it Up" from their 2005 release Mafia. Despite Zakk's recent publicized health issues, fans would never be able to detect any weakness upon listening to this album . His playing is still impeccable, and the powerful vocals he is known for are even better and more soulful than ever. And even though I have vehemently expressed my disappointment for Zakk leaving Ozzy Osbourne's band, I can honestly say this may have been the best thing to ever happen to Black Label Society. Zakk has been able to fully concentrate on creating and promoting a wonderful, sincere, and well-crafted album with his exceptionally talented bandmates Nick Catanese (rhythm guitar), John DeServio (bass), and Will Hunt (drums). Order of the Black has the potential to be the summer's--or even the year's--best heavy metal album.

- Sick Sick Sick Sick

Zakk is a genious. He delivers yet another clutch album. This guy stil has it in him, the guitar sound and the voice. Will Hunt reflects Craig Nunemacher's drumming style perfectly. Southern Dissolution is an epic tune on this album. If you follow BLS or enjoy heavy riffs with good vocals and hard hitting drum beats this album is for you.

- Amazing!!

One of Black Label Society's best yet! Totally worth buying the whole thing. Don't just check out the singles, check out the whole album!

- I hate to say it

I hate to say it but Wylde only has guitar going for him, Lyrics = Horrible Band = Lame

- so amazing

This cd is great. My favorite from them! Defenitly buy!

- FRIEND OF THE FAMILY K-DIZZA

I GOT THIS ALBUM A COUPLE WEEKS BACK AND IT HAS YET TO BE EJECTED FROM MY TRUCK STEREO!! BEST ROCK ALBUM OUT IN A LONG TIME. SAW THEM IN LA AND AT OZZFEST AND STILL CANT GET ENOUGH! QUIT READING MY REVIEW AND LISTEN TO THE DAMN THING ALREADY! YOU MAY NEED SOME DEPENDS, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU

- Who's got a rag

I need one because my ears just had an eargasm all over the place. By far BLS's best effort to date. My favorite tracks on the album are tracks 1-13. Not a single disappointment on here. Well my ears are about done with their cigarettes time for round two. hahaha

- Great album zakk

This is a very good BLS album. I suggest that if you are taking the time to read these reviews, you should also take the time to just hit the "purchase" button, because this album is amazing.

- Nice.............

Seroiusly........does this even compare to the American Idol faggy interpretation of music? come on................. let your freak flag fly! like the Joker said........."introduce a little anarchy" someone needs to school these kids.....

- Order of the Black

The long awaited release of the new album from Black Label Society has come at last. "Order of the Black" is one of Zakk's finest yet. It has both heavy and mellow Zakk. It is a blend of his earlier "Book of Shadows" and "1919 Eternal". When you put them both together you get perfection. That perfection being this newest album "Order OF The Black" So do yourselves a favor and get your copy today!!! By Erica Call

- Order, Order of the Black

Order of the Black is hands down one of the best albums in the last few years. With tracks like Parade of the Dead and Godspeed Hellbound that rip it up with amazing guitar riffs that will blow your mind to Zakk's amazing piano work on ballads like Time waits for no one and Darkest Days this is one album that can't be passed up. I fell in love with this album the moment I first heard the first track Crazy Horse and as it played I fell deeper into the BLS trap. The sound is raw and powerful and is what you would expect from the Black Label Society!!

- Insane!

Another Bad-@ss album. Zakk really belts out those vocals on this one. Crazy Horse and Overlord are awesome..... Sick solo on Crazy Horse! If you like BLS, you'll love this album!

- This is a GREAT album!!

I have to say this is my first feedback on anything in itunes. But this album is FANTASTIC. If you like metal at all this one is for you. It has perfect hard guitar riffs, classic Zakk vocals and all around hard charging attitude. I can't stop listening to this. BUY IT!!!!!

- ORDER OF THE BLACK IS LIKE A VOLCANO, EARTHQUAKE AND A HUNDRED TORNADOES JOINING FORCES

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY SETS THE BAR HIGH WITH THIS ALBUM. IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD IT YET THEN HOLD ON TIGHT BECAUSE YOU ARE IN FOR A VERY WYLDE RIDE. IN THIS ALBUM, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY SHOWS YOU WHAT THEY'RE MADE OF WITH SCREAMIN' VOX & SOLOS BY ZAKK WYLDE AND POUNDING DRUMS, BASS & GUITARS FROM WILL, JD & NICK. THIS ALBUM IS LIKE A HUNDRED TORNADOES OF METAL RIPPIN' MADDNESS TEARING THROUGH THE EPICENTER OF A MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE TRIGGERED BY THE ERUPTION OF A GIANT SUPER VOLCANO. PIKE AUCHTUNG

- Great Album!

Black Label Society's "Order of the Black" is amazing. It opens with the rockin' "Crazy Horse". Then you have a little '70's funk with the opening of "Overlord". "Parade of the Dead", the first single, absolutely rocks! My favorite song is "Black Sunday", which opens with a Van Halenesque intro. "Chupacabra" is an amazing flaminco instrumental. The album closes with the very emotional "January", a tribute to Zakk Wylde's father. It is a great album from start to finish. If you like good metal you will love "Order of the Black".

- Great Album

I didn't ever listen to Black Lable until i bought this album, and let me tell you something, i have seen the light. The songs go from great heavy head bangers like Crazy Horse to great Metal ballads like January. All in all on of the great albums that i have bought, and any heavy metal fan should buy it to.

- Straightforward, no BS hard rock

This is a fantastic record. I am new to BLS, but have always admired Zakk's work with Ozzy. I will definitely be diving into their back catalogue as well. Being more a fan of old school hard rock and heavy metal, this record really appealed to me. Songs like Overlord and Parade of the Dead have incredibly crunchy riffs that get stuck in your head while others like Darkest Days and Time Waits for No One are mellower and almost have a southern rock vibe.

- Zakk's best in years...

While not my favorite BLS album (The Blessed Hellride holds that honor) this is definitely their strongest album in years. "Parade Of The Dead" and "Godspeed Hellbound" are in heavy rotation on my ipod due to their ability to give me a swift kick in the booty in the weight room. My only real complaint is that this album is ballad heavy, and only a couple of them are good stuff if you ask me. I gotta give Zakk credit for experimenting and making the album he wanted to make, which Mr. Wylde always make sure of.

- somebody say shred

Considering the deep respect i have for the origional americans culture, beliefs, way of life and ability to survive if barely in the face of a outright holocaust crazy horse could not be a better way to start the album. With lyrics that surprisingly convey the power, courage and skill the great lakota warrior had on the battlefield quite well wylde's vocals driving home the point. I did not find a bad track on the album. Going from fast and heavy to slow flawlessly. This is the best material he's ever written. Songs like time waits for no one and darkest days hit with just as much impact as crazy horse, black sunday or godspeed hellbound just in a different way. Mentioning godspeed hellbound just wait till you hear the riffs songs like this prove why zakk is one of the best guitarist going. And the drummer does not dissapoint either. So in closing if you liked anything black label society has done before there is no reason the order of the black should dissapoint you.

- Black Label Society is Back Better than Ever!

This is without a doubt the Best Black Label Society release to date. From the blazing riffs of and solid crunch to the melodic ballads every track is a masterpiece to the ears. The sound production is by far a cut above their other releases, proving the Black Label Society Bunker is top notch! This is definitely a Must Have Album!! Bleed Black Label S.D.M.F.

- Balls of Steel!

BLS at thier finest! This is, in my opinion thief best album, the comes Mafia then 1919 Eternal. You ain't a real metahead until you buy this album! So FYI just listening to Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed (though I like both) does NOT make you a metalhead! Buy this album right now! THIS IS NOT A QUESTION!

- Zakk and Co. do it again.

Every time these guys put out a new album it is even better than the last.

- Buy this album

You will not be disappointed

- Great Album

- Best I have heard in years

I have been a metal fan since the 80's, this is one of the best hands down. Zakk is definitely the best in the business!!

- Very Well Done BLS

Just a solid metal CD. Great riffs on Southern Dissolution. So far it is hard to pick a weak song. Overlord is outstanding as is Crazy Horse. Looking forward to seeing them at Ozzfest next Tuesday in Chicago!

- Order Of The Black

What a great album, Zakk and BLS never disapoint.

- GREAT Quality material!

i'm voting this one for 'best Zakk Wyle album ever'. REALLY enjoying this! I love songs where he plays piano in particular... they're GOLDEN. This isn't just some has-been shredding up a mess... we're talking about genuine skill, talent, and love for the music. AMAZING ALBUM! Get it NOW!

- If it ain

Another BLS album and it's pretty much what any BLS fan (Bezerker? Is that the name?) will expect. Personally I love Wylde's groovy riffs, the few ballads are not at all though, I wish he would do ballads like 'Dead as Yesterday' for BLS.
