Well this isn't paramore's best song in my opinion...(figure that's a good way to put it) It's too slow and stuff and all lovey for paramore. However I disagree somewhat about people hatin the fact it went mainstream cuz maybe paramore goin mainstream is a good thing. paramore doesn't hav to change their music to do that just people that listen to mainstream music may just realize wat real unique music sounds like. Thats wat happened to me sort of :). This song I think went mainstream cuz a hit radio station that was sponsering their Honda civic tour wanted more people to go to it so they played a song by them on the radio. In a way though it kinda makes me mad cuz they couldve chosen a better paramore song that describes them better :) and I'm not a big fan of slow music but misguided ghosts and in the morning are pretty slow too sooo :) anyway since it's by paramore I'll give it 4 stars but it just doesn't seem lik paramore ti me... If I didn't already know it was paramore I wouldn't of guessed

I'm a huge Paramore fan, but this song is, in my opinion, their worst song. I have no idea why it's become so popular, but then, I don't understand why most popular music is popular. Paramore's a great band, and I love them, but not for this. It feels like just another sappy love song to me. Usually their acoustic stuff is amazing- I wish they'd do an acoustic album- but this just doesn't to it for me.

recently my boyfriend sang me part of this song with his band. you see he has been dumped before and in terrible ways and i've told him may times I would never do that to him. we have been together for 4 years . he says that I am UNIQUE and that he has never loved ANYONE the way he loves me. :')

It's an o.k. song, but Paramore can do better. I know 'cause I have two of their songs. The first one I got was misery business and the second was their more recent song, monster. I love both dongs but this sounds a little too... Un-Paramore for my taste. Paramore's an awesome band, granted, but they need to get back to writing songs more like misery business.

This song is about a girl who doesn't believe in love, but she has come To her senses that her boyfriend is the only thing she ever could love. Great song ad great lyrics but the melody after the second or third time of hearing It you get sick of it. Buy it but you have To love Paramore like never before.

I have to admit that this is Paramore's best song after Misery Business. It's been stuck in my head since the release of their album 'Brand New Eyes'. Though it's a different tune of song they usually played, it's still a great song done by them! This album boast the original track, live version & the music video as well. Worth the $2.49!

It's really amazing to see the progress Paramore had made in these years. Pressure, Misery Business then this, The Only Exception. This surely is not in punk style, but it proves that Paramore can go beyond punk and shout. I am not saying Paramore is losing its character. I am saying that this EP is in fact a turning point for them to be a more successful and band. Not a punk song, but this song is even better Ignorance.

Before hearing "The Only Exception" by Paramore, I perceived the band as a punk rock band. Because I'm not into hat type of music, I never really payed attention to Paramore. The Only Exception, however, is complete brilliance. I favor the fact that artists are able to show their diversity in music, because they then are able to cater to a larger audience. Good job Paramore.

They are a band of uber-talented artists who put their heart and soul into all of the music they write. The Only Exception is a masterpiece of the greatest quality and meaning and it makes you think. Thank you for recognizing that. :) For The Only Exception: Paramore are NOT Coldplay copycats. For one, they write most of their own stuff. Also, Paramore has their OWN unique style. And just because it SOUNDS like yellow and has some of the same guitar chords, it doesn't mean Paramore is copying. Think before you say Paramore are copycats, because they aren't. You shouldn't be so narrow-minded, haters. Say whatever you want, but don't insult somebody's hard work. It's like saying Michaelangelo's David just HAPPENS to look like another famous sculpture. So back off. Nobody should insult art. Period. >:(

Paramore has been my favorite band since Riot! and I'm so happy to see people recognizing Hayley Williams for her incredible talent. She has by far one of the best voices I have ever heard. I would recommend buying all their songs from all the albums. Every one is gold!!! 4 stars because I'm not too into buying multiple versions of one song. The song itself is 5 stars!

I am at a loss to see why this song is so popular. It's good, for sure, and paramore performs it extremely well live. The video is great also, so I'm giving the EP 4 stars. I'd much rather have an ignorance EP, or careful, there are many better songs. Hopefully my favorite band releases another album soon! I'm getting tired of this being their "newest single".

Paramore's The Only Exception is really amazing!! This is there first love song/ballad that they have ever written but it seemed like they've done it all their life. Hayley Williams' lyrics are deep and soulful that will guide you to her love story. The band has performed this live almost better than the CD track. I love Paramore and always will! ;)
