linkinpark is my favorite band even if the they are playing soft. But really enjoyed the heart stomping music they did. A thousand suns their were only a few good songs Blackout, When they come for me, Wretches and kings, and the catlyist(don't know if i spelled that last one right). On minutes to midnight the only good songs were Bleed it out, Given up No More Sorrow, what i've done, and leave out all the rest. Meteora is the best. Same with hybrid theory(ilike meteora more). Know living things there newest one from 2012 is pretty good. Best ones from there is Lost in the echo, i'll be gone, Lies greed misery, Victimized, untill it breaks. In my Remains, Powerless adn castle of glass are okay. The worst on that album are Roadsuntraveled and skin to bone. That what i have to say about him but he is still my favoriet band(i know i already said this). to me top rate is album Hybrid theory 5 stars, Meteora 5 stars minutes to midnight 4 stars, A thousand suns 4and a half stars, living things 5 stars

Ok, maybe it wasn't exactly rock but it was pretty similar, and now this, this is weak, they have fallen, and they most certainly did not go out with a bang.

This was a song that was released as part of an album called “Download to Donate for Haiti.” It was a disaster relief song, a song about love. It doesn’t have to fit your narrow definition of what ought to come from Linkin Park. R.I.P. Chester Bennington.

It’s pretty good

I love Linkin Park and always haved, but this is not them. I like all of their albums (ecspecially Hybrid Theory) until A Thousand Suns. And this song is just too soft. I wouldn't even recognize them hearing this song.

CMON THIS SONG IS GREAT. IT'S SO CATCHY. STOP HATING PLEASE. PLUS IT IS ABOUT HATI. THIS BAND IS NOT POP. WHY WOULD THEY MAKE A HARD ROCK SONG ABOUT SOMETHING BAD THAT HAPPENED? THAT IS WHY THE SONG IS SO SOFT. IF YOU STILL THINK THEY ARE POP LISTEN TO FAINT OR ONE STEP CLOSER.

This is just one song, a single they released separately. And it was for charity. I don’t know why everyone is hating on it. It’s a good song with good lyrics. Keep up the amazing work LP. Just do you guys. Fan for life!

Medical Mystery (two below) let me ask you something. Do you prefer a consistent band who stays true to their beliefs, or a band that was good, but sells out and leaves you with nothing but memories? Since this is a song for Haiti I understand why it is soft, but If you look at bands like AC/DC who never let anyone tell them what to do, and then look at Linkin Park who shunned their beliefs and sold out after two albums, who is a better band? Yeah, that's what I thought. By the way, you shouldn't give five starts just because it's for Haiti. Rate the music, not the cause.

I don't know what's up with those people who gave one star reviews. They're whining that this isn't "their" Linkin Park. They've been coming out with slow ballad-like songs since they started. Does "My December" ring a bell? Stop whining. If y'all don't like their music anymore, don't listen to them. As for the single, I really like it. I admire their contribution to helping Haiti, and the message of this song is great. The people of Haiti are not alone in their plight, if people like Linkin Park are around to help them.

This song is great. It's not bad but its different. People saying that they sold out is ridiculous. LP stays true to there word. There are still unique. They made a change sound wise and took a new direction with the music. A lot of bands do this especially when they work with Rick Ruben. LP still cranks out the good stuff and wont stop. If you going to criticize then think of something else than what everyone else pulls out of no where.

To this day I still love this song. The fact that I had a neighbor whose family lost their house because of the earthquake really hits close to home for me. I love it when artists from all over come together to help raise awarness for things like this. I've been a fan of LP since day 1, and they are still the same LP they were back then, and I belive that they will never change.

Guys i know that youre working hard and trying your best, but if youre gonna change your ENTIRE style of music then make a whole different band. It can be with the same people. This isnt the "Linkin Park" that your fans know.

This song is different from their other songs but still good

I understand you are doing this for a good cause, but your best material sold so much your early albums went CRYSTAL! If making money for Haiti is your goal then go back to your roots and see how many LP fans and the public support you! Plus it'd be nice for all of us to hear something "like In the End"once again.

Linking Park was a unique and powerful band that actually meant something to me when Hybrid Theory and Meteora were released. And I'm still listening to their first two albums. But once Minutes to Midnight came out they lost the spark that gave them their fans and fame. They discarded their roots and to me they're only getting worse. I've had hopes that one day they would go back to the old LP I knew but that doesn't seem like a realistic dream anymore. Sorry Linkin Park, but no cigar.

If LP plans to release a new album with songs like this, it will be a bust. They need to return to their roots and stay away from this pop-like music. I did like a few songs from ATS but they need to go back to the old sound or just chnage to something else cause clearly not many people are into the new sound

This is a song about the tragedy in Hati, and how much they suffered from it. You honestly expect Chester to scream into the microphone about it!? NO IT IS A SAD SONG ABOUT A SAD TRAGEDY!!! So get over it and about Linkin Park not being good. Personally I think they have been absolutely amazing all the way through. And hope for more amazing music to come.

There's a difference between growing musically and just plain crap. I'm all for experimenting, growing and expanding your sound, but this just doesn't come close to cutting it. Come on guys. You're abandoning your fans. If you don't care about us, just say so and we won't waste our time anymore with you.

After Transformers made these guys blow-up with "What I've Done", I've kind of been disappointed with their songs. I liked the Hybrid Theory and Meteora songs, you know, back when LP was good... They've just really gotten worse and haven't impressed me at all. I'm sorry, Linkin Park. You're not doing your best.

its kinda bad when people claiming to be true "fans" of LP bash them for trying to expand and try new things with there music. I for one applaud them for growing throughout the years and each new album they put out shows more and more that their not afraid to try new things and if the fans can't accept that then maybe they shouldnt call themselves fans

Despite the contrasting opinions of several other reviewers and they're unnecessarily harsh words this song like they're other songs is amazing. Real fans of Linkin Park will love this. To the people who say this is crap: what do you expect them to do? This is a relief effort song! Chester won't be screaming earth shattering vocals and Mike won't be spitting out harsh raps. Honestly the ignorance of some fans is disturbing. Keep up the good work Linkin Park. Whether or not it's old it's still great!

How can this song be horrible?? I don't give a crap about the bad stuff! If they're helping, the we have to. I'm an LP fan ever since June '07 and I had forgotten about them because I had a head tumor in a car crash that same year in December '07. I couldn't remember anything until I heard 'Iridescent'. Then 'Not Alone' was on radio and I decided to be a LP fan back again. Made the right decision and I'm in this for 4 years and counting. They are the best and will be the best! If u hate them, then don't write on this wall! Write on another wall so that our fans don't turn their backs to the band. We need more fans and stick with it. :) I love LP cause they care for Haiti because they need help. It doesn't matter if they're gonna be metal or rock, they ARE!!!! This song dedicates them and lifts their heart up. Love LP for good, but don't hate. I promise, they'll be back to rock music and hope they can still be sure that they make that promise.
