Thank goodness for Firefall, Eagles, Poco and The Doobie Brothers. They have stayed with me as musical grounding my entire life

I don't know when the other reviews were written but everythings here. Almost. Everyone of their Billboard Hot 100 hits are here, all 11. The only song that's not here is Only Time Will Tell which charted 46 on the Adult Contemporary Charts.

"You are the woman" and "Just remember I love you" probably got the most air play,... but this entire CD (album, cassette) is great. Who cares if the music is mushy? You can understand the words and the harmonies are cool. ****1/2 stars

This song stinks. Fact.

I had forgotten what a wonderful group of musicians and vocalists these guys were. Had they not been forced to stay on the road for so long( 5yrs.), they wouldn't have burned out and we still might be hearing some new material. Even though these songs were radio hits, they bring back many, many great memories. Yes, there were some very good songs that didn't make the CD, but it's the "number crunchers" that make the choices, not the musicians or fans. Overall, if you are a fan or just an innocent bystander, you'll enjoy this disc immensely.

This is REAL music. Lyrics that make sense, harmonies, melodies - just what music should be. Not like the crap that’s out there today passing for music.

Love the vocals and instruments of Firefall. This is a must have, if you grew up in the seventies!

This is a great start, but where's the rest of the album - this has the radio hits, but it's missing some of the less known really great songs - especially CINDERELLA.

I love their sound. But Stardust! It should be here!

The review should have been written by someone that had an appreciation for folk rock. This is vintage stuff with acoustic rhythm guitar, nice harmonies, and some pleasing melodic lead guitar as well. Personal favorites are Livin' ain't livin', It doesn't matter, and So Long. A couple earlier reviewers commented that Strange Way and Cinderella were missing, but both seem to be included now. Much pleasurable listening here!

A solid 5 stars, but docked a full star for using single edits rather than full-length album versions. As to being compared with Air Supply, I’m fine with that. I like Air Supply too. But to be more accurate, I’d compare them with America and Poco. More strumming, and C&W flavor than Air Supply.

God how i wish this type of music would come back and c-rap would go away!

Where is "Strange Way"? It's the best song they ever did. Without it, the rest of this is just fluff.

The iTunes review is needlessly brutal. Comparing them to Air Supply! Not cool! Not every 70s band could be The Who or Aerosmith. Firefall occupied a solid place in the decade and this collection is nearly flawless...great production, talented musicians, memorable songs. Sure "Strange Way" is missing, but this is one of my favorite collections of a band's best stuff. Having said that, the last five songs on this recording are throwaways. First 13 are priceless!

I'm assuming the iTunes reviewer is under 30. As for 70's soft goes, this was better than Poco and Air Supply. Some of the biggest hits from a generation are on this album. I was just a kid, but I still love hearing these songs.

For those of us who were teenagers in the 70's, this evokes memories of warm summer nights, making out in the car, drive-ins, and, since I lived in Colorado, concerts at Red Rocks, under the stars. Just for that it makes buying it worthwhile.

Not at all!!! Strange Way, LP version exceeds 4 minutes, 3:25 is some kind of K-Tel knock off! The injustice of hacking off tracks of albums is one thing... saying a given track is one thing when it's another is bogus Apple!!! What is this??? Wal-Mart! (rhetorical comment).

2 stars due to missing material.I'll review this album when it's complete. I'm looking at a hard copy of the CD now, and it has 18 tracks, not 9. What's going on? If you offer an album, then offer ALL of the album. I'll pay you for it. Very distressing...
