Ive always loved Snoop Dogg and his chill gangster style and how smooth he spit his ryhmes. But this, this is so different. I even listened to this high and I found it hard to listen to. He's slowed down and his flow in this album is not very good, a majority of these songs he doesn't rhyme very much either. I like the first track and maybe 2 others I can't name off the top of my head. Plus the beats in most songs are pretty bad to be on one of snoops albums. All in all it's decent but I wouldn't buy it if you like snoops oldies or anything blue carpet treatment and before it.

Snoop had his time and now it's over. Accept it and move on. Listening to a 40 something year old with a 14 year olds mentality is not good....

I don't see what all the b!tchin is about. The reason this album wasn't promoted HEAVILY is because it's a PERSONAL/INDEPENDENT release. What ever happened to artists just being able to love, make, and release music? With that being said I honestly think this is a refreshing sound from Snoop and he's putting on some unknowns (a younger generation). So, big ups to him for that. My "opinion" on Snoop's music has faded over time. I loved The Chronic, Doggystyle, and Dogg Food... but since then his quality has faded and it seems like he's getting worse at rapping. This is why people love young, HUNGRY artists. They (usually) feel a greater need to impress people with their skills and that's why their 1st album is (usually) the best. Once they get rich and famous they relax and don't put as much energy into their music.

I love every song on this album. If you want to get high to some songs, this is the perfect album to get high to. I don't smoke, and I promises you, most of my my friends get high. When they listen to songs like this, it relaxes them. If your into jazz, this'll transition you into Rap, a little bit.

This does seem semi-rushed, however you must remember that he is working on a movie at the same time so he really doesn't have all the time in the world

Look Snoop, U are my favorite rapper hands down. But this CD was not a good one in my perspective. I still think you are da bomb and much respect for still breaking out CD's this far into the game..

The production is kind of dry, the lyrics aren't that great, and his flow is just ok. It's not a terrible release, but it doesn't get me amped up to hear new Snoop Dogg material.

I'm not really sure where people are coming from when they say that Snoop is too old to rap or too old to smoke. The dude is having fun and making some decent music in the process. Personally I haven't noticed any change in flow from Gin N' Juice days. Give it a listen, and justify your opinion after listening to the EP a few times. Personally, I'm really liking it.

I dont usually write reviews, but this album is pretty good. I'd say its definatly not his best. But give Snoop a break, this is like what....his 13th album. He's been through a lot of melodies and beats. Its hard to get something fresh

I ain't even gon front, I haven't been a snoop fan since the doggfather days. But every now and then snoop has these compilations or "snoop presents" and for the most part some of them are really good(eastsidaz, Dubb union) and then some compilations have decent stuff. But this here is straight wack! Just like the Mac & Devin thing, wack too. The only song worth bumpin here is Make it Hot, and that's by Tha Dogg Pound. Snoop, you cool n all, but your music is hella watered down these days...and commercial. DPG 4 LIFE tho!

I don't know what happened to Snoop Dogg. His prime was clearly in the 90's and now he's pretty much just a sell out, doing songs with Wiz Khalifa just to make a few bucks. To the guy who said he needs to make "new catchy beats and this sounds like his old stuff", no! That is the problem with today's music! Artists don't even make real music anymore, it's just "catchy" at best. That's just not good enough. And this sounds nothing like his old stuff. Such a dissapointment

Dont get me wrong,I love Snoop,Doggystyle is one of the best hip hop/rap albums of all time but this is garbage.He's declined over the last few years and this just shows it. Lazy production and boring,generic rhymes.Steer clear.

I think snoops trying to fit into this new generation of music, but as everyone said doggystyle and featuring on the chronic are the reason why he is what he is today, and i do think he needs to have abit of the old skool music, fair enough these new cats may not like it but theres still millions of people who are into the old skool 90's classics and beats. Dr Dre better surprise me on the detox !
