You did it itunes. First you got the greatest rock 'n' roll band of all time, the Beatles, and now the greatest hard rock band ever AC/DC. Next you need to get the greatest metal band in history, Ozzy era Black Sabbath to complete and fully legitimize your store. As far as an album review: it's a pretty good live album. The collectors set adds a lot more songs for a little more money but I think it's worth it. Of course if you want the greatest live AC/DC album you have to get 'If You Want Blood You've Got It'. It completely smokes anything else they've done, studio or live.

This is really good stuff, but there should be more Bon scott live stuff. I really want dirty deeds live with BON SCOTT!
Treeman - Powerhouse Live Album
Their first live album with Brian Johnson has the band ripping through classics like "Back In Black", "Dirty Deeds", "Thunderstruck" and many more. Brian's voice is a little ragged here, but he still has the power to go for the high notes. The guitar's detonate like A-bombs and drummer Chris Slade adds just the right amount of flash and fills without being distracting. A knockout.

Saw this show the week before in Oldenberg. Fantastic time at the Monsters of Rock. AC/DC killed it! Bought it as soon as it was out. Still have the VCR tape, too. Listen to it often and so do my children.

Thank you iTunes for listening to the fans and loading this collector's edition onto the site. I posted one of the first few reviews on the Live album (non-collector's edition) and indicated this collector's edition was highly desired. Thanks to all the other AC/DC fans out there who posted the same. This is one of AC/DC's greatest albums and anyones collection is sorely deficient without it.

In my opinion, after hearing these versions of their songs, you won't ever want to hear studio album versions again. I always liked AC/DC and their music. But once I found this CD, as a kid in the 90's, I was blown away. It seemed as if the studio versions weren't even performed by the same band. AC/DC Live brings a palpable energy full of incredible talent, power, and brightness you just can't find in studio tracks. It can make you feel like you're there in the very moment the songs were played and recorded. This is one of a few bands I feel sound better live than in studio. I feel like many other bands sound under skilled live after hearing studio tracks. I'd rather hear studio albums of nearly every band with AC/DC being the only exception.

AC/DC has been one of those bands criticized for never leaving their general song formula, but their ability to put so much weight into simplistic riffs and songwriting is what carries them so far. This particular live album is the same story; the band puts nothing new in, no different spins on songs, no covers, it's just what they always do. But they do it with such power, ferocity and devotion that it's an incredible album regardless. Highlight: It's hard to pick just one, but I'd go with Thunderstruck for it's amazing mood-setting intro. Lowlight: Hell's Bells, which is still good, but Brian abandons the high notes from the studio version, making it lose some power

I have the video of this album live at donington and in my opinion, acdc is not very good and not awesome and they are weak compared to motley crue and metallica and other heavier bands than acdc. I have heard better bands than acdc and better music than acdc's music.
