"for the first time" is kid rock's best song to date in my opinion - i can tell you what music is missing these days and if i can write you an album let me know......... as a fan - and/ or i can appreciate music and the struggle between country and rock - this would be an awesome song to be re-released without the voice alterations - should be #1 hit

I'll start by saying I never was a fan of Kid Rock in the past. I love heavy music and like some rap, but his mix didn't do it for me. But this album is simply amazing! It takes the best of Skynyrd and mixes it with a lot of other goodness to be something phenomenal. There are no throwaway songs. Take a long drive and put it on repeat. Amazing and well done! Usually I don't like when artists take a new direction. But I love what Kid Rock's music has become and I hope he keeps progressing.

This kid is defiantly not a musician. Pick a genre, are you rock, rap, or country??!? All that I know is that you are not a country artist and will never be a country artist!

I really am not the biggest Kid Rock fan but I absolutely love this album. It isn't particularly complex but just some great straight forward rock and roll. The songs are instantly catchy and fun with a really timeless sound.

Born Free is a 1966 British drama film starring the real-life couple Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers as Joy and George Adamson, another real-life couple, who raised Elsa the Lioness, an orphaned lion cub, to adulthood and released her into the wilderness of Kenya. The film was produced by Open Road Films Ltd. and Columbia Pictures. The screenplay, written by blacklisted Hollywood writer Lester Cole (under the pseudonym "Gerald L.C. Copley"), was based upon Joy Adamson's 1960 non-fiction book Born Free. The film was directed by James Hill and produced by Sam Jaffe and Paul Radin. Born Free, and its musical score, by John Barry, as well as the title song, with lyrics by Don Black and sung by Matt Monro, won numerous awards.
