Riotslug - A Favorite AlbumTo be quite honest, when a friend introduced me to Charli XCX I didn't really like how glittery and processed her sound was. I thought it was too much and too pop-y, but after giving her another listen on Nuclear Seasons I realized how amazing these songs are. They are full of energy, the production is great, and the lyrics make me feel so happy; it's a refereshing kind of pop. It's an added bonus that she can sing amazingly live and she is absolutely adorable. She's young and talented and I hope her future albums do this one justice.
