I read other reviews how Armin's stuff is different. True, it's not completely "Trance" but it's still good music regardless :) Keep up the excellence Armin, thanks for the beats and hot tracks for the summer.

Great hybrid of trance and house, the best album since 76, but I find it disturbing that only a couple of songs have popularity - Alone, and especially This is what it feels like. Those are not big songs. The other, great songs have such little popularity in comparison. Another thing, Don't like "Reprise"; when I listened to it, I expected a house beat to come after that strings buildup, but instead was downtempo rock, not house even after that, but actually not a bad way to END the album, because you would hear it at the END of a movie, though not a great way. I heard "This is what it feels like" on FM radio, not thinking it was Armin, but some modern rock band. "Alone" is not trance. I like Pulsar, but the beat is not great. Album still gives me goosebumps, though. Not so poppy like the last album Mirage, but another different thing - Progressive/electro house; But it still has trance. Forever is ours is great, not really trance, but super-driving. Love never came is good, but not great, and has negative lyrics. Bland, without bassline. Turn this love around sounds like a lesser form of the classic "Love you More." Oh, don't get me wrong, this is one of the greatest Armin Van Buuren albums (the other is 76), it's mostly just that people are not buying the best songs. I do think Armin has gotten better since Shivers starting with Imagine, through Mirage all the way to this, but starting with the album Embrace, Armin got worse. Also, where's The Most Intense Edition? Maybe it's not available in my country. I'm in the United States. Or it's not released in digital (e.g. MP3 or AAC) format. But why? Just get Intense, Waiting for the Night, Won't Let You Go, Pulsar(?), Forever is Ours(?), In 10 years From Now, Last Stop Before Heaven, and Who's Afraid of 138. Don't get the others! I would like 146 bpm!

This album is REALLY interesting, catchy, especially who really like a more upbeat trance and dance. "Reprise" is especially amazing to me. This is a really diverse album that will AT LEAST satisfy every trance addict and fan. Though I think Armin may have made better songs, I think that every song in this album is great (usually there are always one or two songs to which I would say "meh") But this album is ABSOLUTELY worth it.

This is one of AVB's best albums in a long time.

I don't know how this wasn't given a Grammy for like album of the year, regardless of genre. It's amazing, every song hit home and this one is definitely in my top three albums of all time. And for those of you who are comparing Armin to tiesto, listen to Armin's song "intense" then go listen to tiesto's "red lights" and I mean come on. This album is absolutely brilliant and beautiful. Very, VERY well done, Armin.

I wasn't really into AvB's previous albums like I am this one. This is the first time in a long, long time that I've felt the need to write a review to tell you all how much I LOVED an album, for any artist! I haven't found a single track I didn't like. He got the rhythm and the energy on this one PERFECT, and I do mean PERFECT. Love love love.

Yes I like this a lot. It is very good at being whatever it is, Techno pop? TRANCE IT IS NOT !!! AVB is leading the way out of the Trance genre and no doubt making more money because of it. HOWEVER There is something that is more melodic than my other favorites Above and Beyond who's "Progressive" stuff is nearly monotonous compared to both their own and AVB older material. Bottom Line? Time to stop calling it Trance.

Perfect for anything

Holy Crap this Album. I was just coming off the high from Dirty South's album and this just blew me away. I. Love. This. So. Much.

I have to say the last albums I brought from Armin I swore I'd never buy another one. I felt his music was getting repetitive and there lacked variety within tracks and among tracks. This album is so much better. Emotional yet fun. Trance but still modern & fresh sounding enough to party to. Beautiful vocals but not too feminine. I absolutely love Above & Beyond and I think this will please their fans, as well as true AvB fans. Those of you who want to return to 2003- just go listen to your old CD collection. No need to trash new music on iTunes.

If you guys are new to EDM like me and are discovering all the awesomeness that EDM top artist can deliver these days…then you won't regret having this album… "Turn this love around " is my top 10 fave of all time!

Armin please go back to Trance. Don't go the path Tiësto did. This mainstream generic music is way too cheesy. This song is such a bore. There is a reason you were the king of Trance and it should stay that way.

Ever since I was in middle school I have loved Armin from his first album "76" some songs were "yet another day" and "burned with desire" and I must say he never disappoints. There is a reason he continues to be in the top 3 rankings and has won more #1 dj awards than any other dj. Buy the album to support such a inspiring artist you will never be disappointed with his work

I've been a lover of all sorts of Electronic music for the last 15 years and when it comes to one of the top artists to feed that hunger, I look no further than AvB.

By far the worst album by Armin, two words chessy and house. Only one good track that has an actual trance feel who's afraid of 138. This album never got my attention, it's a total disgrace To trance.

The single "Waiting For the Night" sounded promising, but the album as a whole is a total Americanized electrotrance sellout for the unwashed masses.

Look, I like the EDM stuff that comes out on the radio, but I respected Armin van Buuren for over ten years for being an amazing trance music artist and a fabulous humble DJ. This album sits beside Avicii and Calvin Harris. Very disappointed. I will admit more thought and effort may have been put in to the writing of this music, but also a lot of time has been spent making sure it sounds just like all the others. I used to be able to listen to a mix and think "this sounds like an Armin van Buuren track" and look up the tracklist to find it was. Now it sounds like everybody else. Same with Tiësto's music. Pop crowd EDM pleaser.

This album has a lot of great tracks but it has changed from his classic trance album that Armin is famous for. Mirage was a great album but I prefer this album more. My personal favourite is a Beautiful Life but all the tracks are great either way. P.S. It is really good pricing 16 tracks.

great for festivals… although he seems to have the same build up which is predictable in todays electronic/trance/dance music scene (whatever you want to call it) true modern armin fans will be happy.
