Honestly… These men are so used by God its not even funny. Last year around January I was rocked with a situation that really got to me. That was when I found their song "For the Good" It touched my life and became my song. Love it! Around September of last year things in my life started changing and became much better. And then - shortly before this album came out - think 2,000,000x worse than the previous situation. I was a mess. I was having a hard time trusting God, believing in His love for me. And then Shane and Shane's album came out. Naturally, as Shane and Shane's biggest fan, I had to have it. As I listened I heard so many wonderful songs - songs I loved because they were good songs, and songs that spoke to my heart. When "Faith to Believe" came on I cried. It was like God was speaking to me. It so totally applied to my situation! And then, after that came "Though You Slay Me" Honestly, I cried for over an hour as I listened to that song on repeat. It still gets me. It was like, I hadn't wanted to pray that but deep down in my heart I knew that's what I needed to do - praise God no matter what. It's been hard and I'm mostly failing I think, but that song has become my anthem. Both of them have. :) Aside from those songs… I love "The One You'll Find" "That's How You Forgive" "Crucify Him" and I love, love, love "You Loved My Heart To Death" All of them, really :) Now that I've written a novel… ;) Thanks, Shanes, for your wonderful music and the way your heart for the people of God shines through in your lyrics. Never lose that. So many Christian artists out there are so lame; they write to make the charts, not to give God the glory and help His people. Don't ever become that. You've been a blessing! Love you guys! :)

I stumbled across the "Though You Slay Me" not long after reading the verse in Job "though he slays me, I will hope in him." God works like that. Brought me to tears. God is good, no matter how I feel. I'm going to buy the rest of the album asap.

The album is amazing. The lyrics really cause you to raise your hand towards GOD. It really touches your heart.

I buy a LOT of CCM and have followed Shane & Shane over the years. Until now, none of their albums hit my sweet spot; however, this one IS ABSOLUTELY fabulous in every way. I love Shane and Shane. I've always been impressed with their depth of writing and music. I like this new album, but found it lacking a little in the area of lyrical depth and unique melody. Not being critical :-), these guys are amazingly gifted and I love to watch how God uses them! This album is a must have for sure!

Every time S&S come out with new stuff I am blown away. As a longtime fan I always wonder how they can make the next album as good as their other stuff. It always takes me a few listens to fall in love with it, but just like "The One You Need" I enjoy it more and more with each listen. "You Loved My Heart to Death" is easily a top Shanes song in a long time. Keeping recording, fellas.

I have loved the music of Shane & Shane for years, but this album is by far my favorite! Scripture is woven throughout every song, which draws the heart and mind to the safest place to be - considering GOD and HIS words, not the words of men. My favorite is "You loved my heart to death". I had a horrible day & honestly was feeling sorry for myself & feeling like I wasn't measuring up. This song was perfect timing. I listened to it for the first time before bed & it was just what I needed.....to be reminded that nothing else matters in this world except His love & sacrifice for me. I don't have to "measure up" for other people. He loves me with all my flaws & His only expectation is for me to love Him back. Beautiful song! I loved the rest of the album too.

Not since early 2000's J. Camp or 3rd day have I heard such powerful Christian music!! Well done
