I Am a Die-Hard Elvis fan! There will never be another voice nor entertainer to even come close. His recordings at STAX as well as American Studios and The Jungle Room Sessions are, in my humble opinion, his greatest Career Recordings! I am THRILLED to have this collection. I only wish RCA would give us a Complete Session Package of each of the above 3 with all the Out-takes and Masters. I'm grateful for a partial set such as this, but I wish they'd give it all to us! I don't expect it because they know they can make more $$$ by feeding it to us a piece at a time. Perhaps one day! Regardless, this Album is a Must Have piece of Musical History from an era in the life of the greatest singer of all time. Just a couple of days away from the 36th Anniversary of your passing, and Elvis, we miss you terribly and forever will!

Its amazing how when this material is correctly packaged and compiled it is significantly better. For those who don’t know, most of these songs were spread out across several different albums in the 1970s featuring Elvis in a white jumpsuit on their covers. This ultimately confused the average Elvis listener and deterred people from buying or listening to those records. In the process these great songs lost their impact. If these tracks had been featured on one properly marketed record in the 1970s it would have changed everything and we would have yet another masterpiece album by Elvis everyone would be talking about today. Such a shame. I will go the length and say this is some of the best material Elvis has ever released. The songs on this record cross rock, pop, country, soul, everything.. Elvis loved all sorts of music and you can tell on this release. Thankfully these incredible Stax sessions are now all together on one record, newly remixed and remastered and it doesn’t feature Elvis in a white jumpsuit on the cover. Some of the outtakes are even better then their final masters. This is a must buy for Elvis fans or casual music lovers.

Great Album, I think E's voice was untouchable during the 70's. His voice resonates so well on this album, excellent production for a 40 year old recording. There is a lot of value for any Elvis fan. Highest recommendation.

The ultimate artist of all time ! , brings us more timeless recording sessions!, despite being recently divorced and depressed . Absolute legend !

As a long standing Elvis fan who has a lot or his music, its hard to not end up duplicating a lot of his stuff, you know like to get songs you dont happen to have so this is why a great collection like this is good, odd ones i did nt have in my many collections but also i actually love to have different takes like on here which also are on another collection i have, different takes i mean as we all know Elvis always sang live in the studio with a full band and that he did many,many takes until it sounded right in his head, he had such a great ear for a great song and to hear alternate takes i think is really great and offers a unique take into the music of this great man, there will never ever be anyone like him again and i have loves him since i was around 7 yrs old as my mam was a fan and i loved to listen to him with her and i will always love him, forever in my heart. I actually think i ended up a much bigger fan than my Mam actually was for all she loves him.

Really loved this most of the songs I Had never heard before but will enjoy Listening to over and over again.

I visited Stax around 6 years ago, after visiting Graceland and it is wonderful to hear the music Elvis created there with his fellow band members; I will never forget Elvis' music and those that supported him - the World is such a better place for Elvis Presley and his music - long live the King's music xx
