Kevin gates is a very good artist but this one album made him look kind of bad because there really isnt 1 song that I like that is in this album but anyways gates go dumb way hands down!

Gates is the realest rapper out there right now, no one even compares. I would like iTunes to get posted and girlfriend and the rest of his first mixtape, if not I always have spinrilla. Got all his mixtapes/albums for free including the whole Luca Brassi story (22 songs) all of his music should be on here and if you put up a mixtape, it should be the whole mixtape. I want Marshall Mathers, the intro song for the Luca Brasi story, etc. Why put up not even half a mixtape?

Can't say enough about the intelligent lyrics, slamming beat (and West Coast use of said beat), and intermixed lyrics/autotune. Every song just gets better & better every time I listen to it. Owned it for 2 weeks and I bet I've listed to the entire thing 20 times. Cannot wait to see what he does next.

I probably got into Gates later than some of the die-hards, but definitely been feeling his style for a minute... pretty much one of a kind right now. Saw that someone called him a "Furture rip off" or something like that. C'mon, if anything Future is just a T-Pain rip off with the deep auto tune sounding voice ( can't deny he's getting his fair share of recognition right now, but just personally feel that Future is trash.) Anyways, Baton Rouge clearly is no ATL, where the Southern legends have carved out a place for themselves and southern rap music in general in the history books; but, to be fair, I'd say Kevin Gates makes the B.R.: 3 for 3 --as far as their biggest artists... Boosie, Webbie and now Mr. Gates. (Not to discredit Foxx, Lil Phat [RIP], and all the others.)
