If this was a cd it would be worn out, absolutely love this whole album, not 1 bad track front to back.

This album is Skillet's best-selling album, and rightfully so! This album gets down to the gritty problems our youth face today with songs like "Open Wounds" and the title track "Collide", and lets all of us know there is a god who loves us with songs like "Savior" and "Cycle Down". And that god's name is Jesus. The album also delivers songs you can praise to, songs like "Energy" and "Under My Skin" really set the mood for worship. John Cooper (lead singer and bassist) said that this album is about the problems the youth of today face, and that's absolutely right, and with this album, we can be more inspired to overcome those problems through the power of Jesus Christ! Skillet, on behalf of all panheads... Thank You.

This is Skillet's best album! "Forsaken"sets the tone ofthe album. "Savior" is by far the best one. "Collide" is the longest song on the album, but has a great chorous. "Fingernails" is the weirdest one on the album, but still good. "Imprefection"and "Cycle Down" have amazing chorouses. Keepup the good work Skillet!

U guys need to stop putting out crap like victorious and unleashed and make stuff like this again. Make post hardcore and post grunge music like this with a good message.

I recently picked this CD up and it’s good. My favorites are for sake in savior open wounds a little more my obsession collide it fingernails under my skin energy and cycle down. It’s not as good as awake or unleashed but it’s one of my favorite skillet albums.

Skillet was still good in 2003 and capable of retaining Alien Youth-level awesomeness on this record, with most songs rocking good and hard. “A Little More” is the last truly awesome ballad the band would write, “Cycle Down” is a must hear, “Open Wounds” is Skillet’s darkest song, and “Savior” is also awesome. The only misstep (and future sign of their arrogant bombast that would make them popular) is the title track, which isn’t half bad but it’s repetition of the word “something” lowers its standing in contrast to the other songs. Relentless and memorable, it was Skillet continuing the peak of their powers.

This album is amazing! I would highly recommend this album, especially those who are just getting into Skillet. Every song is good.

I really hope their new album rocks as hard as this one because so far this album is my favorite!! If you're looking for Christian songs you can head bang to then buy this album it's worth it!!

This album rocks hard, and has a great message. What I'm wondering is that it's currently Skillet's worst selling album! Even behind Hey You, I Love Your Soul (not that HYILYS isn't a good album). This is one their best, it has to be top 5 or this is an abomination!

This has a song for almost every emotion that you feel. This album has gotten me through so many things that its unreal. Even if its old and docent have Jen or Seth its still classic Skillet and any true Panhead out there would agree. Even if you aren’t familiar with skillet its a great album with great songs and its worth the money

It’s good but I’m big on sound quality so I don’t listen to it much except for Savior, it’s one of my favorite Skillet songs.

I love this album, but what is the deluxe? There’s nothing different here

The transition from old Skillet to new Skillet was perfectly blended with the emotion and brutality of Collide. Savior is the greatest song of all time. By any bend. Ever. Each song on Collide is intense in its own way; Forsaken, Savior, Open Wounds, My Obsession and others are wildly intense, while A Little More, Collide, and Under My Skin are quitely intense, though they really aren't quiet at all. Beautiful emotion is plastered all over every screeching guitar melody, every one of John Cooper's lyrics, everything.

This album I feel brings out the true passion and hard hitting rock of skillet. Guitar shreds were awesome, lyrics were great, drum beats were cool too. It speaks to god and it was the first change in their music with a grunge twist but still speaks to god. I'm telling you, listen to it! And give some credit to their violin and their cello player I think it was Tate and Chu back then but I don't know. All of the songs are amazing, seriously all of them. I couldn't decide which would make my top 5. So I chose: open wounds, Collide, a little more, Savior, and under my skin. 5 stars all the way for all my LIFE!!!! From 1 to 5 stars, I'd give it 10 stars. Skillet is the greatest band ever, I am an extreme PANHEAD of this album. It's amazing!!

I just listened to the full songs of Collide, and that song is sick!. I also like open wounds, savior, and a little more. I wish i listened to these songs earlier

This is the best album skillet ever put out. Not that their other stuff isn't good but this is the only one that i can listen to start to finish and enjoy. Every bit of it. Something about it is different from their other stuff, it's more dynamic, more heartfelt and emotional. Plus it rocks harder than all their other material. Much more fun to jam to this than their other stuff. I also like the screams, i would like to hear more of that in their newer music. But i doubt they're going to do that so for now this album will do.

Awesome

Collide is Skillet's heaviest album so far, and definitely one of their best. I like Rise a little better for its more sophisticated feel, but if you want brutal guitars and screams, this is the album for you. Song by song: 1. Forsaken 8/10 This song opens the album with a bang. I love the guitar work, and the vocals match the music. 2. Savior 9/10 The intro to this song is amazing, and it has a little more depth to it than Forsaken. I like the way John Cooper does the bridge. 3. Open Wounds 7/10 This one may not be as good musically as the first two, but the lyrics ring true for today's culture. They show how the world doesn't care about you, even if you place your trust and hope in it. 4. A Little More 7/10 This one slows down the pace a little more than the first songs (pun intended), and has a slightly whimsical feel about it. Still rocks hard in the chorus though. 5. My Obsession 9/10 One of the heaviest songs on the album, with raging guitars and drums. Love it. 6. Collide 10/10 The intro on this track is one of the best I've ever heard! The track is definitely long, but most of that comes from the intro. The chorus is just slightly lackluster, but doesn't hurt the song. 7. Fingernails 9/10 This song has a definite despairing feel about it, which lends an extra punch to the meaning of it: no matter how hard you try, you won't succeed on your own. 8. Imperfection 8/10 The beginning of this track is not my favorite, but it gets good and hard, and the meaning is something everyone needs to hear: God loves you even through your imperfections, so don't get caught up in them. 9. Under My Skin 7/10 This might be my least favorite song on the album. It has a weird mix of soft and grating music and vocals, which work on some songs, but not this one. 10. Energy 9/10 This track sounds just like the title makes it sound. It's a fireball of energy; the right feel for a song singing about God's awesome power. 11. Cycle Down. 10/10 This is probably my favorite song on the album. The chorus is fantastic and the verses fit nicely. Love this song! I hope Skillet returns to this style more in the future, but maybe with a little bit of Awake's strings. Unleashed was good, but felt too much like pop. Overall rating of this album: 8/10

This album is just good simple rock. It doesn’t sound like the Skillet we know but it doesn’t need to. Forsaken, Savior, and Collide are my recommendations for this album

Hard to pick a favorite song on this album but definitely a toss up between Collide and Savior oh and Open Wounds. I really like Y'all music and the songs Y'all write. Y'all music as well as other bands like Toby Mac have really impacted my life in a positive way. Keep doing what you do and don't even pay attention to your critics because Y'all your own kind of cool 😎. Historic cool 😎 and needless to say Y'all are unique and your critics probably don't know what to think and are intimidated most likely because they struggle seeing the truth and having hope. Just remember to have patience and always remember to Forgive those who no not what they're doing or understand.

Great music for when you just need to take rage out. My personal favourite is Open Wounds. Over all, Collide is a great album and is worth the price.

I love skillet In general, but a little more adds something as well as the louder ones, I personally love Savior (probs my fav skillet song) Collide, Forsaken, and A Little More, My Obsession is pretty good too

Incredible album! Love the grittiness in John's voice as well as the fine balance between crazy drum beats, guitar rifts and bass play. Amidst the upbeat songs, the slower songs such as "Under My Skin" and "A Little More" are great to listen to as well. Collide and Forsaken are my personal favourites.
