- Very Pleasant To Listen To

I love these songs. I especially like "One Way Ticket (Because I Can)" and "Talk To Me" and "Cattle Call" (Duet With Eddy Arnold). This is real country music!

- Just Great

I remember when this came out, and I was only 8. It is simply great, and it astounds me how solid Leann's voice is at the age of 13-14 (when she recorded it). Recently I've been hooked on "Hurt Me", it's just a really great song, as is the rest of the album.

- Blue!!

That is my favorite song on this album!!!!!! Get it or ur missing out

- Wow!

I remember when I was little and I would roller blade around in my garage and listen to this! Its such a good cd! :)

- Still brings back memories...

I was five. I was watching the Disney Channel and saw her singing and said "oh my gosh... I love her!!!!!" For my birthday I got this c.d. and I listened to it every single day for hours and hours. I found this on itunes and ran downstairs to go look for my cd hehe Yay i found it! But I am saying that these are classic songs on a c.d that no one really remembers. These were her golden years, in my opinion. Now shes all over the place in between genres and stuff... but this c.d. is so innocent and pure. You'll love it.. its catchy and fun.. buy it! ;)

- She’s hard to top!

Classic Leanne Rimes— velvet voice singing country at its. Best—elsaK

- Beautiful

Love her pure voice.

- Amazing Talent

This album was an amazing beginning to a wonderful talented singer. Listening to Blue, One Way Ticket, and the rest of the album brings back memories of the joy this album brought not only to me, but my life. This album has forever changed my life. LOVE IT! Buy it today:)

- Wonderful Album!!!

LeAnn Rimes has amazing talent. This CD was one of her early ones and one of my favorites. The song "The Light In Your Eyes" is touching and inspirational! Thanks LeAnn

- OMG!!!!

This album came out when i was 4 yrs old and i used to listen to it all the time. I still remember all the lyrics!! I can't believe it's on itunes!!!

- My very first CD

I think I saw someone else wrote a similar review on here - but when I was 9, I also first saw her being interviewed on the Disney Channel promoting this album. She sang “Blue” and I LOVED her voice so much that my parents bought this CD for me and I swear I must’ve listened to this album, Unchained Melody, You Light Up My Life, and Sittin’ on Top of the World a million times growing up (in my portable CD player - lol). My parents, being the awesome parents they were, even surprised me with concert tickets to go see her and Brian White perform. By far, one of the best singers out there today and a huge influence on me growing up, I just want to say thank you LeAnn Rimes for making such beautiful music. I love all of your albums & hope you will always continue to bless the world with your voice.

- :)

This was the first CD I ever had when I was like 4 years old. One Way Ticket is my anthem

- Good Memories

I was only 2 when this album came out, but my parents bought it on cassette (i don't know why since neither of them like country) and they liked it. I just always remember listening to this tape and even singing along to it, now I'm looking back and thinking I can't beleive she was my age when she recorded this. Anyway, I really like this CD and LeAnn Rimes is a great singer.

- amazingg!

omgg i still can't get over that she was just 13! ah!

- Classic 90's Album

This was LeAnn Rime's debut album. She was only 13 at the time, but had a voice that sounded like an adult. The opening track, Blue, was originally written for Patsy Cline. However, LeAnn manages to replicate Patsy's voice and does much justice to the song. The rest of the album is full of wonders, such as One Way Ticket, The Light in Your Eyes, My Baby, Hurt Me and Cattle Call. Definetly a must-have for any fan of country.

- One of the First Cassettee Tapes I Own

LeAnn Rimes is one of best County Artists That I Like and her is pretty Good tp Listen Too.

- Why this album is on my list

When my daughter was a baby, she would get carsick. The only thing that would soothe her during long car rides was "Cattle Call" from this enjoyable album. I think it says something about the listenability that, after about 10 billion repeats, I still enjoy the song.

- One of the most impressive albums ever

LeAnn is easily one of the best female vocalists of all time. This album is an example of that. In the song "Fade To Blue", she hits a high note and holds it for a long time, proving that she is capable of so much range. "Hurt Me" is another impressive song, vocally..... as is "Honestly". These three songs are some of my most favorite songs ever. Her voice just mesmerizes me, it's flawless. For anyone who is interested in LeAnn Rimes at all, I think this is the album to start out with.

- AMAZING

I can't believe she was only 13! So GOOD!

- Great

I can sing this just like her. (That's how much it rocks.)

- Blue

Title song = very poor quality. Really disappointed.

- BEST VOICE EVER!!!

I LOVE her voice and this cd is awesome. I love Honestly and Talk to me the best, but all the songs rock.

- I Love Her Music

The very first CD I had as a kid. She is so good!

Blue Wiki

Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The term blue generally describes colours perceived by humans observing light with a dominant wavelength that's between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colours; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet. The clear daytime sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. An optical effect called the Tyndall effect explains blue eyes. Distant objects appear more blue because of another optical effect called aerial perspective. Blue has been an important colour in art and decoration since ancient times. The semi-precious stone lapis lazuli was used in ancient Egypt for jewellery and ornament and later, in the Renaissance, to make the pigment ultramarine, the most expensive of all pigments. In the eighth century Chinese artists used cobalt blue to colour fine blue and white porcelain. In the Middle Ages, European artists used it in the windows of cathedrals. Europeans wore clothing coloured with the vegetable dye woad until it was replaced by the finer indigo from America. In the 19th century, synthetic blue dyes and pigments gradually replaced organic dyes and mineral pigments. Dark blue became a common colour for military uniforms and later, in the late 20th century, for business suits. Because blue has commonly been associated with harmony, it was chosen as the colour of the flags of the United Nations and the European Union. In the United States and Europe, blue is the colour that both men and women are most likely to choose as their favourite, with at least one recent survey showing the same across several other countries, including China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Past surveys in the US and Europe have found that blue is the colour most commonly associated with harmony, confidence, masculinity, knowledge, intelligence, calmness, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sadness.
