One of the best rap albums of 2013 right here. Danny comes out spittin' from the very first track, and bows at the end with the introspective, haunting lyrics of 'Float On.' Danny is at the top of his game and takes you on a journey through Linwood, painting pictures of the horrors he has seen in his life to explain his over-the-top drug intake. Danny is a truly original, dope as f$&@ hip hop artist at a time when clowns just looking for a radio hit run rampant. Danny cares about the sonic experience, as well as the story the listener is hearing and that's what makes this album so well-crafted and worth going back to again and again.

This is an excellent CD. I think it’s very easy to overlook the concept and actual intelligence behind this cd by getting lost in the overall high energy vibe of it all. While even listening just superficially is a great experience, give it a few more listens and try to actually listen to the story he is telling over the course of the CD. One of the must have albums of the year. - A seasoned hip hop head

Danny is one of the most versatile rappers currently working. This is an incredible album from one of the last true rock stars.

I want to like Danny Brown, but like a lot of rappers, there's a heavy dose of n-words. Like, a HEAVY dose in most songs. Does that make me shallow? Or does it make me a schmuck for buying an album that, if in a sing-along situation, I wouldn't be allowed to sing along with. Hey rappers, enough with this word. Thanks. Danny Brown, you got CRAZY talent, but until you ease up on the n-bombs, I can't support you.

Ever since i heard Danny Brown in the XXL Freshman cypher and his album XXX, he's became one of my favorite rappers. Best thing about Danny Brown is he has is own style and has voice control. Danny Brown previously has had a very specific audience when I say that I refer to his voice, very one sided, love it or hate it. On OLD listeners are treated with the usuall voice whilst surprised with the deeper darker side on tracks like Torture, Lonely and Red 2 Go. If you cant adjust to that you are still heavily fulfilled with tracks like Dip and Kush Koma. This Album is a must have for all hip hop heads.
