I previously said that this album was as awesome as Peace Sells. I now think Peace Sells is better, but this is also amazing. Hook in Mouth is easily one of Megadeth's best songs. Into the Lungs of Hell, Set the World Afire, Mary Jane, and Liar are great too. In My Darkest Hour is not the best song on here. Great song, but there are better songs. Anarchy in the UK was good, but I would've rather had another original song instead of a cover (or both, since Megadeth's best albums are really short). 502 was pretty good. Anyway, buy this album.

I have the original recording of this album etched into my memories. I was shocked & utterly disappointed that there was remixes of this recording. I hate it.

I love this album but I just can't get used to the different remixes after listening to the origial issue for all those years. I think the most drastic changes are in My Darkest Hour. I would seriously would have rather had straight up remastering than getting remixes. To me the remixes completely changed the songs.

i remember getting this on cassette when it came out,just like most Megadeth albums Dave changes things up but still thrashin! i recommend this album and killings my business…and business is good,peace sells…but who’s buying these three are the most thrashing and rawest before dave started to get clean although i do own all Megadeth albums these first three are my favorite! I guess because i heard them all first as they were released back in the 80’s!!!

I want raw Megadeth.

As stone cold classic Megadeth as you can get!!! Every song a total 🔥Barn Burner🔥, except Anarchy in the U.K. is totally the odd track out, but still alright. I would’ve preferred Dave’s original Sex Pistols cover choice of ‘Problems’; it would just fill the entire record out better. A must have Megadeth record!

The remastered version is absolute garbage!! Leaves Megadeth waaaaay short-changed! Go to YouTube and listen to the original version and you will be satisfied! The remastered version will be a waste of money! Trust me!

Classic Megadeth; raw and fantastic thrash metal. The whole album is amazing and every song is great, but “Anarchy in the UK” is an underwhelming cover of the Sex Pistols. I truly recommend this album and any true Megadeth fan should own a few of these songs! A decent album but Paul Lani did a horrible job producing this, but thank god that Dave Mustaine accompanied it well. Megadeth couldn't afford good producers back in the 80's. 1. Into the Lungs of Hell: 9.5/10; A killer opening to this album! 2. Set the World Afire: 10/10; First song written by Dave Mustaine, and another killer track. 3. Anarchy In the UK: 7/10; Not a fan of this version. 4. Mary Jane: 9/10; Not the strongest off the album, it's good with riffs. 5. 502: 7.5/10; Meh, could be worse. 6. In My Darkest Hour: 10/10; Everyone knows this is Megadeth's best track off this album. RIP Cliff Burton. 7. Liar: 8.75/10; A funny rant about former guitarist Chris Poland. 8. Hook In Mouth: 9.5/10; A nice ending to a solid album that's about censorship and a middle finger to the parents music safety thingy. Average rating of the album: 8.9/10; A solid album people overlook. Recommended tracks: Into the Lungs of Hell Set the World Afire Mary Jane In My Darkest Hour Liar Hook In Mouth

Why is Anarchy in the U.K. The most favorite song? It's the worst song on the album.

I haven't listened to every single album from Megadeth, but this album is a masterpiece! My favorites are Hook in Mouth and 502 (it has a good rhythm!). I guess the only song that's kinda meh is Mary Jane. 5 stars!
