- Out of all thier albums, this is number 1

They were definately at their best on this album. Love "Young and Aspiring", "A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black in White," and "Reinventing Your Exit," and the other tracks were good too.

- Favorite album

My favorite UØ album by far

- Oldy but a goody.

Great record,young hard pop rock.

- Best album ever!!

I'm in love with this album! It's by far Underoath's best yet!!

- One of my favorite albums of middle school

This album just brings back memories for me. It was when I was getting into metalcore and heavier music. A must-have for any heavy music fan!

- Overrated.

A lot of people say that this is the best UnderØath album out there. In my opinion, this is not. I like Spencer, but his screaming voice gets a little old after awhile. I’m glad he changed it, it sounds much better like that. Best songs: Young and Aspiring, A Boy Brushed Red Living In Black and White, It’s Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door, and Down Set Go.

- Time Flies

I bought the Cd of the and the deluxe cbd/dvd of this when it came out. I even made my high school graphics project off of solid state records and designed my own Underoath CD art and jewel case that I still have to this day including the print on the CD top. All of Underoath albums are great and I started with Dallas on The Changing of Times but this album had so much more pop appeal with Spencer Chamberlain and it started a wave in the metal core community. Underoath was this Christian band that rocked and broke into the mainstream with what most called “screams”. My brother and my friends and I would sing and pretend to scream or try to scream along with this album and play Super Smash Bros Melee all the time. So many good memories and this could be their magnum opus on a pop level. Define the Great Line has so many special memories to me as well. Either way this album is gold.

- Awesome

One of my all time favorites!!!

- Some of the best writing/lyrics/music of the past 15 years

This album was life changing to say the least. I like ALL types of music from Metal to Pop Punk to Grunge to Rap to EDM and of all those this album is 100% top 5 maybe top 3 if I had time to think of all albums I've ever heard. this is a must buy if you are looking for something differentz. a little hardcore a little punk a little post hardcore just YES

- Best album today , last track is mega rad!

Even the last track is awesomazing perpetually, wish they could remix the album with dub step for sure , mega blessings shalomies

- Perfect

Best album of any band I’ve ever heard. Stands the test of time

- The Best.

This is my personal favorite Underøath album. It has such a great feel to it with soaring lead guitar, and Aaron’s vocals. Some people say this is the worst because Spencer’s vocals are weak… I actually love it though. Define the Great Line was an outstanding album as well, but I LOVE the vocals on this record. You really get sucked into this CD like it’s a story that you are reading. BUY IT IF YOU Don’t have it… YOU’RE MISSING OUT. RIP Underoath. :’(

- Fantastic.

See title.

Miss them sooo much

They're Only Chasing Safety Wiki

They're Only Chasing Safety is the fourth studio album by American rock band Underoath. It was released on June 15, 2004, through Solid State Records. Following the release of their third studio effort The Changing of Times (2002), half of the band's members were replaced. After finalizing the line-up with vocalist Spencer Chamberlain, the band recorded their next release with producer James Paul Wisner at his home studio Wisner Productions in February 2004. The album has been tagged with various genres including screamo and melodic hardcore and features subtle references to Christianity. Drummer Aaron Gillespie had more of a vocal presence to contrast Chamberlain's screams. Before the album's release, Underoath undertook a tour with their labelmates and later with Eighteen Visions. Throughout 2004, the band went on the Warped Tour before going on their own headlining tour, and closed the year supporting Coheed and Cambria. "Reinventing Your Exit" was released as the lead single in February 2005. An appearance on the inaugural Taste of Chaos tour led to another headlining US tour, shows in Europe and a second spell on Warped Tour. A Canadian tour in late 2005 with the Used preceded a reissue of the album in October 2005. It received generally favorable reviews from music critics, some of whom highlighted the various musical styles and praised Underoath for its accessibility. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album gold in the US in 2011, and it was nominated for a Dove Award for best rock album. It has been re-pressed on vinyl and performed in its entirety.
