Didn't he die in 1997, so are these old songs just complied in 2007?
Anything biggie touches turns platinum.
To the greatest rapper ever The Notorious B.I.G.
i love biggie.....ready to die, and life after death ar e 2 of my fav albums ever. When i heard this one i thought it wouldnt be as good cuz it was after he died but once i heard dead wrong and everything else. I my self was dead wrong. SO if u turn a way fro mthis turn right back to it man u wont be sorry
Biggie was the best and all the peoples who keep saying buy Pacs album ur crap! Why are you on biggies reviews tlkin about 2pac! It's so stupid ! Biggie was and is still the best east coast rapper! And I bet if he was still alive he would be running the rap game! So take that haterz!!!
Rest In Peace Biggie we will love you forever
Biggie says repedetly in the song Born Again 'death row' but his label was bad boy records and didnt he hate 2pac? and 2pac was in death row records? is he trying to say something bad about death row by saying "Death Row the weaker the strong" in his song??????? its wierd. I dont have anything againts biggie but 2pac is just a better rapper. I recomend to buy some song from biggies albums but check out 2pac too.
I think, quality wise, the best song on this album is 'Who Shot Ya'. Let's be honest with ourselves- the beat is great, and the lyrics fuse together well with it. Definitely remember to buy this one, and maybe N***as
i actually saw the video of the shooting of biggie 2 bad the camera drops but thanx 2 the douche bag who shot biggie (probably 2pac's fault) hip hop wud still b like this and not CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is probably how a bunch of stupid crappers like soulja boy and pitbull joined the game think twice before u do something >:(
Tha songz "who shot ya" and probably a few other songz on this album were on biggies first album so u can tell this fake.still a good album though
Great album. BIG was definitely the man and left this great music behind as a reminder of his genius. Still bang all his music like he never left
I just re-stumbled across this album in iTunes. When I was in college years ago (i.e., young) I bought this album and liked a few of the tracks; some really good beats/sounds, I thought. Now that I'm about 15 years older, I just cannot believe how utterly filthy I consider this music to be. I suppose there are people who like this kind of music, and, each to his own, I guess. But if you are a parent reading this, and you have (pre)teens that may want to listen to this (who knows if teens and pre-teens even know who this is anymore), I'd think twice before letting them if you are trying to instill any sense or morals and decency in them. This is exceedingly trashy, dirty, sexually explicit, lascivious music. Just not my thing now that I'm an adult.
Well, even though it was released after BIG had died, it stills sounds very good. I'm not even a big rap fan, either. Unlike "Duets: The Final Chapter" this one actually features BIG a lot. The Outro is also very nice. I would reccomend "If I Should Die Before I Wake," "Biggie," "Who Shot Ya," and "Dangerous MC's" But, if you're a fan of 90s Rap, they're all good.
In this album we have some of the best rappers. This is the most amazing album I have seen this is a master piece!!!!!!!
Granted, this is an album dropped AFTER Biggie died, but it is by no means a tribute album. Most of this was material that Biggie made himself, that was edited and clearified by other artists. Don't get anymore albums released by the industry that just twist and chop up Biggie's words. This album is an exception, because most of it is original material. It is good closure to the life of Biggie Smalls.
this album is so dope, yet again all his albums are dope! r.i.p. big
This album is great! It's better than any hip hop album 2day
This album made my penis shrivle up but dead wrong is a hot track R.I.P. Big
i like the one with eminem
What if he is realy born again....................
great rapper yes,but... kinda got the best rapper ever killed. 2Pac
see how the review says that this cd being released post-mortem is proof tha rap game g0es t00 far for da $?....thats C0MPLETE BULL SHyT this album was t0 n0t 0nly fulfill dreams 0f MC wh0,tragically, didnt get a chance t0 rap al0ng side wit iggie cKan get a chance n0w thats a huge h0n0r like Eminem, Lil kim, Busta (he was around but they never c0llab0rated) but als0 t0 all0w his music t0 live 0n even str0nger....RIP BIG
Anyone who says pac is better just get out of the reviews. I'm from the east side and I like pac but biggie is still better. And for the guy who said lil' wayne is better is probably 9 years old. If I turn on the radio I throw up when I hear lil' wayne Unbelievable!
dead wrong is a great song, it has a good beat and great lyrics
Your a music illiterate if you actually think that in comparison with biggie PAC jayz bigl and others wayne and eminem are garbage back then it was real music and real lyrics real spittin and I think eminem needs to bring back slim shady honestly that was mashall mathers at his best
Numer UNO, best Eva, the B.I.G, you don't like this? Go listen to country! Peace haters!
These beats dont fit B.I.G.!!! B.I.G. Lyrics are nice!
Biggie is the best.
The best that has ever did it. It had some unreleased Biggie stuff with new verses from artists. Done very well. If you like Biggie, this is a must have. I can't believe they cut most of this off of his first 2 CD's. Best track to me is Who Shot Ya.
personally B.I.G is my favoritie rapper of all time. this album is fine its just not something i would spend 12 dollars on. i would by maybe buy 4 to 5 songs off of this. puff is doin a great job keepin the brooklyn bad boy alive songs like n****s and Noturious are great spittin from biggie
I like it cuz its Biggie but the beats aren't him. I don't think his style was taken in consideration during the making of this. They just took beats that would work good from that time and put his verses on em.
hip hops just not the same anymore, underground hip hop is still around but their is still watered down music around! A.K.A. bubble gum music. i just wish that hip hop could make a come back H.U.S.H HELP US SAVE HIP-HOP THE MYTH
Notorious i pray for you every night. Your the best rapper ever to live
Great album but interesting that the greatest verse on the album is from Nas but again Nas is GOAT so it's not fair to compare the rest to him. R.I.P Biggie one of the greats.
Great track heard kendrick lamar use it on the hot 97 as a beat.
This song is so messed up but so awesome at the same time
i think that biggie is 0k but not nearly as g00d as the rappers 2day like Eminem and lil wayne
were tf is ready to die at
One of the best rapper to ever live. I wish B.I.G was still alive he would be making so much history! He's hands down the rapper with the best flow ever!
Biggie is not one of the greatest HE IS THE GREATEST
Rest in peace. Great rapper.
Biggie don't deserve to live again he's terrible PAC does though besides biggies so fat no one could give birth to him again. I would give this sh** -2000000 stars if I could
whoever is hatin on BIG obviously has never been able to appreciate real rap. belive it or not you are aloud to like both biggie and 2pac"s music. in mrs. wallace (outro), i was gettin chills all up and down my body, that little speech on bigs life really had an impact on me and i hope everyone can appreciate this music for what it is, dont hate on big just because he will live forever
Great Biggie album, good songs and lyrics
Crap, just like biggies career don't get why people are making such a big deal about his death, he sucked. Nuff said
2015 and still listening and hearing his voice....never gone
one of the greats rappers iv herd besides 2pac and eazy-e n.w.a
I agree 100% with real 12, I was 3 when he died & I ever since listening to his music, I'm amazed. This is rap, not "Souilja Boy." Biggie & Pac WAS & STILL IS RAP. This Born Again album is great. RIP BIG & Pac You will be missed
What happened to rap? All the good stuffs gone! Snoop dogg is a prime example, he was so good in doggystyle, but now he is rapping in big time rush songs, what the hell is that? And how could anyone like lil wan more than biggie? Thats a disgrace

To be born again, or to experience the new birth, is a phrase, particularly in evangelical Christianity, that refers to a "spiritual rebirth", or a regeneration of the human spirit. In contrast to one's physical birth, being "born again" is distinctly and separately caused by the operation of the Holy Spirit, and it occurs when one surrenders their life to Christ (John 3:5, Titus 3:5). While all Christians are familiar with the concept from the Bible, it is a core doctrine of the denominations of the Anabaptist, Moravian, Methodist, Baptist, Plymouth Brethren and Pentecostal churches along with evangelical Christian denominations. These Churches stress Jesus's words in the Gospels: "Do not be astonished that I said to you, ‘You must be born from above.’" (John 3:7). (In some English translations, the phrase "born again" is rendered as "born from above".) Their doctrines also hold that to be "born again" and thus "saved", one must have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The term born again has its origin in the New Testament. In the First Epistle of Peter, the author describes the new birth as taking place from the seed which is the Word of God. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus himself refers to the Word of God as the seed. In contemporary Christian usage and apart from evangelicalism, the term is distinct from similar terms which are sometimes used in Christianity in reference to a person who is, or is becoming, a Christian. This usage of the term is usually linked to baptism with water and the related doctrine of baptismal regeneration. Individuals who profess to be "born again" (meaning born in the "Holy Spirit") often state that they have a "personal relationship with Jesus Christ".
