- 80's Girl Rap at its finest

Supersonic the album is one of those classics that once you own it, you can never stop listening to it. Supersonic, the groups only hit, sucks you in, but its the later half of the album that keeps you comin' back. "My Dope Intro" re-calls a fun and funky Parlaiment. "Now Really" is the beef rap that should have put Salt n Pepa in their place. An early example of Dr. Dre's genius, the record paved the way for today's hits, like Stefani's Rich Girl, and Truth Hurt's Contagious. One listen and you'll love it.

unless you are like 15 years old or something you know from the second she starts to rap, It is her rewriting and doing her rthymes to Supersonic. It is well noted in the liner notes that she has used supersonic **with permission**. I agree with the other comment, I also wore out my supersonic JJfad cassette! love it! The only thing fergie did was make me remember the song and search for it on itunes. Thanks fergie for making me remember another great song!, not to mention "Give it all you got" by afrorican.

I like how Fergie took it, remixed it, made it her own, but this isnt half bad...pretty good. still, you guys who are all like "ohmigosh, fergie totally copied", you gotta give them both credit. The glory days of Ruthless Records. Always loved J.J. FAD backed by the production of Dr. Dre, Arabian Prince, and Dj Yella this album is one of those rare ones you could listen and enjoy from beginning to end. 80โ€™s Hip Hop is the best ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ.

- Devil Stating Beats!!

Wore this tape out and then some in 88. RIght along side Megadeth, Exodus, Overkill, Testament Run DMC. This stuff is real, it's got soul and a whole hell of a lot of like-a-bility to it. Take it straight from a Metal Head, JJ Fad is the real deal, and even the fillers are fun to listen to. As for Fergie, she's not the first to "borrow" a tune for a song. I got no beef with that, her lyrics on the otherhand are straight out of the toilet. Yup, the place where ya have the poo, is the same place Fergies songs belong.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt obligated to acknowledge one of the most criminally underrated albums in hip-hop. the production is incredibly tight, and full of classic samples while the flows themselves a delivered with both deft fluidity and a sheer tenacity that has influenced many for generations here and yet to come.

I love J.J. Fad's "Supersonic" album. It really brings back to the old days of hip-hop in the late 80's. I love their songs, "Supersonic", "Is It Love", and "Way Out." They are really cool. It's such a shame that their fame was so shortlived because they could've gone on to do more great stuff, but by the time old school hip-hop kinda lost its way, so did J.J. Fad. But J.J. Fad is still remembered by some fans. I hope to get more of their great songs because they are so excellent. I recommend this album to fans of J.J. Fad or fans of old school hip-hop!

Supersonic speed is the speed of an object that exceeds the speed of sound (Mach 1). For objects traveling in dry air of a temperature of 20 ยฐC (68 ยฐF) at sea level, this speed is approximately 343.2 m/s (1,126 ft/s; 768 mph; 667.1 kn; 1,236 km/h). Speeds greater than five times the speed of sound (Mach 5) are often referred to as hypersonic. Flights during which only some parts of the air surrounding an object, such as the ends of rotor blades, reach supersonic speeds are called transonic. This occurs typically somewhere between Mach 0.8 and Mach 1.2. Sounds are traveling vibrations in the form of pressure waves in an elastic medium. Objects move at supersonic speed when the objects move faster than the speed at which sound propagates through the medium. In gases, sound travels longitudinally at different speeds, mostly depending on the molecular mass and temperature of the gas, and pressure has little effect. Since air temperature and composition varies significantly with altitude, the speed of sound, and Mach numbers for a steadily moving object may change. In water at room temperature supersonic speed means any speed greater than 1,440 m/s (4,724 ft/s). In solids, sound waves can be polarized longitudinally or transversely and have higher velocities. Supersonic fracture is crack formation faster than the speed of sound in a brittle material.
