- :)

It sounds nice to me.

- This album is an absolute gem.

I’m so happy i discovered this album after revisiting some old songs by FTP from their “Torches” album. I have to say, their sound is a lot different in this one, but it just shows their versatility as a band and nonetheless I vibe with it. Some favs of mine include Fire Escape, Coming of Age, Ask Yourself, and Best Friend. I really love FTP’s ability to combine thoughtful lyrics with their own unique sound and couldn’t be more grateful for this gem of an album.

- 😍 The Truth 👍

My favorite band of all time! I can listen to their music all day long because every song is unique. Also they are a great band to watch live. (Thanks for coming out to ACL Music Festival!)

- Unique

Incredible. Objectively good. Creative lyrics and political commentary. So authentic. Highly recommend.

- Breathtaking.

This album just gives me the chills. my soundtrack to life. (:

- Amazing

I’ve grown up with both of your albums and I love both of them so much. I think you should make another album like supermodel, It’s one of the best albums i’ve ever heard.

- Supermodel

This album was one of the best albums I've heard and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan but because this album has true meaning. For all those people who say that this album was disappointing, you all seriously have issues. Mark himself said this album was gonna have a different vibe than Torches. If you didn't like Supermodel listen to it again but pay attention to the lyrics and think twice about what you think of it. This album is gold. Period.

- Amazing

It doesn't sound the same as Torches but it is just as good and i believe they expiramented with this and they created something amazing

- So awesome

If you liked their first album for the synthetic upbeat vibe of their music, you will like this one as well. You can't go wrong with foster the people

- Pretty nice good job guys!

Just Beautiful<3

- Awesome

I love this album

- 🙏🏻🤙🏻🚶🏻‍♂️💔

The most underrated record of 2014.

- Really really good

So many great innovative melodies and moments on this album. Mark is obviously improving as a composer. I really look forward to his next project . . . Hopefully the record company doesn't get in his way! The dude has brilliant ideas. He's on par with Thom Yorke in my opinion.

- A new, more evolved sound.

After the huge breakout success of Torches, Foster The People could've recycled the same catchy hooks and kept the same dance-pop sound. Fortunately, they changed their sound while still implanting infectious hooks into the songwriting. Fans of Torches will immediately notice the catchy hooks and melodies on Coming Of Age and Best Friend, the latter of which will surely be compared to Capital Cities, mainly because of the trumpets and funky guitar riffs. Are You What You Want To Be has a world groove, and a "Na Na Na" chorus. The Angelic Welcome of Mr. Jones has a church choir, but the simple acoustics, vocals, and subtle production tricks of Fire Escape steals the show. Really, Foster's latest release lives up to and exceeds its predecessor. Seriously, this is worth checking out.

- Afraid of this album but no more

I love FTP. I listen to SHC and Torches everyday. I have avoided Supermodel like the plague bc I heard it was a dud and was afraid it would change my opinion of the band. I finally decided to give it a listen bc I just couldn’t imagine FTP making bad music. Supermodel is just as good as Torches and SHC. I absolutely love it! I’m ashamed I let someone else’s opinion keep me from listening. I am fascinated by Mark Foster and his talent as a well rounded musician. I am sure there isn’t an instrument he can’t play, and Pontius mesmerizes me on the drums. He and Cimino seem like such quiet souls that comes alive when they preform. Innis seems very passionate about music. I love his energy. I’m convinced they are the best band of our time who seems to get overlooked. Maybe that is the way the band likes it.

- Amazing!

Awesomeness!

- Man, This is Really, Really Good

I have just downloaded my 6th song off this album. The sound seems bolder yet more polished than Torches. Try a few songs.....

- LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Total opposite of torches, yet just as lovable! More pop and edgy sounds that make you want to dance (or is that just me..?) with still a unique vibe that Mark Foster brings to every song. I would 100% recommend this album to anyone whether they enjoyed the first album by this band or not, because this one is a complete evolved version of the band that shines through even brighter than before!

- Fabulous

This album is absolutely amazing I love every song !

- Hands down best band ever !

Not only is each song catchy , but each song is filled with meaningful lyrics and emotion that people can relate to. Haven't stopped listening to supermodel and torches since they've came out ! It was worth 3 years of waiting for !

- dudud

dudes

- incredible

in the bit over a year this album has been out, completely changed my life. incredible as always.

- What?

It’s like an album of filler songs from an indie band you’re trying to get into because your friends are into it. Terrible. Torches was a masterpiece that got me back into writing music… this sounds like they gave up or just don’t have anything good written to produce into music. Just get Torches and wait if they make a better move. This isn’t enough to give up on FTP, but enough to be disappointed.

- What a new album should be

I find it hard to believe the arguments these negative reviews have... "I wanted something like torches". I don't see how you can want a new album to sound exactly like the last. If you want repetition go listen to pop music. As far as Supermodel, it's like nothing I've ever heard before and for some people that's good and for some it's bad. Coming of Age was a radio hit for a reason, it's the easiest to listen to and it's catchy enough to remember.

- One of my fav bands

they dont dissapoint (except that horrible pay the man remix but anyway...,

- Sounds like FTP to me!

Don't know what all the fuss is about. Sounds like Foster The People to me (yes, they have a "sound") and it's good:-) Enjoyed every song on this second album!

- JUST AS GOOD AS TORCHES

okay im one of the biggest fans of foster the people, and i think this album is pure amazing just like torches! i dont seem to see what people's problems are, because this is just as good as torches. theres no need to complain, especially when they have 4 and a half stars for BOTH ALBUMS. i think supermodel and torches are both worth the money.

- Are you kidding?! This is great.

In my opinion, this is a step up from Torches. FTP never disappoints. True music, true art.

- Way better than torches

Don't get me wrong, I loved torches but that was mainly because of "Don't Stop" "Helena Beat" and "Houdini." But now FTP ditches the creepy techno beats and dark lyrics, they then used amazing new light hearted beats and great new lyrics, this album is unbelievable. And woah the change in theme!!! They whent from talking about abuse and school shootings to a... Wait! A boy coming of age and taking a task to bestow on himself, woah!! What a change!!!! Love it!!!! The emotion near the end is off the charts, "fire escape" is such an emotional song, filled with great things, so is "the truth" great album

- Still love it

Seeing that Foster the People is my favorite band, I am prone to being bias. But i waited 3 years for this album so I was basically just excited to have more music by Mark and the gang. It definitely different from Torches, but I applaud them for trying something new, if they stuck to the same thing over and over again they would never grow as artists. And I heard in an article or interview with Mark that the first time around, they wanted everything to be perfect, and with this album they let it be more free, not at strict. I still love it :)

- Beautiful

Frikin beautiful album. Drums amazing. Vocals amazing. Music is how I connect to people.

- Amazing Album!

Loved you guys forever! You have always been so original! Stay awesome xo

- Wow wow!!

I always felt that 'torches' had a few underrated songs in its repertoire that were just sooo good, but were mildly brought to the surface because of 'pumped up kicks' hype. This album though, is incredibly great! It's so bold and, in my opinion, a step in the right direction to this genre. I'm so glad that bands like this can evolve in their style and sound and really get in touch with their music. Listen to foster the people, people, lol! They're coming up with great things

- Take the time to let it grow on you!

Not the catchy tune by tune that your used too. Still twisty dark weird but cool Foster. Might send a lot of the pumped up fans running but the next time you go on a long drive make this the drive tunes and after you will just see how much more you will like.

- 😄👌

Gotta love foster the people

- Amazing album

Torches and Supermodel both bring two different sounds to the table, and both are sooo good!

- Not real solid

It sounds tired

- BEST ALBUM

I loved this album sooooo much. And once i found out what they wrote their songs about…It made me love it even more. The Torches album is similar to this album in some aspect, but (like many people stated previously) if you are expecting a sequel than you will be very disappointed, although this is nothing like torches, it is DEFINITELY worth listening to considering how talented each one of the band members are. Once you start listening, you will not stop! Hope you enjoy!

- Amazing!!!

These songs are so good Mark and the band obviously worked really hard!

- Amazing

If you didn't get chills listening to at least one of these songs then you definitely didn't try hard enough. Beautiful music with a message. 10/10

- Truly Amazing

I've never heard anything like this, it truly amazes me. A perfect mix of "Torches" with an awesome new edge to it that puts it over the top!

- .....

This album is life. Period.

- Simply A Masterpiece

This album is easily a masterpiece. Beautiful lyrics and stories dangle out of Mark Fosters lips. Some songs are fast and catchy while others are slow and impactful. This album has no boundaries and every song has a different concept and story. The whole record is an emotional roller coaster as it really raises your self awareness. The guitars and drumming patterns are a nice touch as well. The album finishes off strong, almost like the band is exhausted from their struggles. This shows how the record is more than a series of songs, but an experience. This album is more superior than Torches and I believe it's one of the best records on the market. Favorites: Ask Yourself, Coming of Age, Best Friend, The Truth, Fire Escape

- ...

....

- Different from torches but just as good, if not better

Different from torches but just as good, if not better

- LOVE IT SOOO MUCH!!

I'm saving up to buy an iTunes gift car so I can buy this! One of my family members has this on CD, so I would like to have it on my phone! Can't wait! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- Great!

People told me the Foster the people released a new album, supermodel. I first listened to Ask Yourself, I thought it was the best song from Foster the people. I fell in love with it until I heard Nevermind. I fell in love with those 2 songs, again. I fell in love to, Coming of Age, Psuedologia Fantastica, Best friend, A beginner's guide to destroying the moon, the truth, and now the whole album I loved Torches before, but now I love Supermodel better. I don't see what the people who hate Supermodel are talking about. It's great!!! Foster the people did a great job once again, addicted to this band's album

- Great Sophomore Album

Foster the People just keep getting better! Can't wait for more from them.

- supermodel

great tunes for music lovers of all ages

- Super!!!
