- A lesson in Listening

John Williams preseents a unique listening lesson as you discover brilliant Celtic underpinning of melodies and harmonies. Each instrumental section of the orchestera delivers a special contribution to telling or supporting the story. Didn't hear that? Listen again and perhaps again and you'll soon hear it....even if you're a novice musician. These scores demonstrate Mr. Williams' intense understanding of the many musical motifs needed to be the master film composer he's become many times over. Five stars isn't enough. Enjoy....you can't help to!

- Soundtrack Chamber of Secrets Review

John Williams is my MOST FAVORITE composer. His music is so..................amazing! He really has you captured by the sound of his music when you watch movies like "Star Wars" & "E.T." & "Indiana Jones". But when you watch a movie like "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" or "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", things get way, way, WAY more awesome.Try buying some of my favorites: Gilderoy Lockhart, The Flying Car, The Spiders, Meeting Aragog. Happy Shopping on iTunes Store!

- John Williams = God

This album is only further testament to the fact that John Williams is a music genius. Chamber of Secrets is a beautiful album, but each track carries both a mood and imagery of the very scene to which it pertains! Great music for any time of day or night!

- A JAW DROPPING WONDER

I lovvvveeee this movie....and album! My favorites are..."The Flying Car", "FAWKES IS REBORN"- my favorite song of ALL the H.P albums!!!!! "Dueling the Basilisk", "Reuion of Friends" and "Harry's Wondrous World". Wise up and buy the entire album and you won't regret a penny! Yea Harry! I luv you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go John Williams (even if he doesn't do the h.p music anymore)....Keep up the good work ya'll!

- soothing

I love the music and the way they desinged it. I also thought the movie was great too.

- i love music!!!!!!!!

jhon williams captures all of the songs perfectly! i recongnize each and everyone of these songs!

- Amazing!

I have to say, as a long-time fan of Harry Potter, the music is what makes the movies as amazing as they are for me. The mood is perfectly captured with all the songs and each one compliments the other so well. As much as I like the other composers' music for the later movies, John Williams truly is a musical genius.

- [:

loved the movie, and the soundtrack is great! Buy it !

- Chicken and Cheese

THIS SOUNDTRACK WAS AWESOME! If you like Star Wars music and Lord of the Rings then you should get dis album

- Why am I not on the album cover?

I'm not on the album cover, because Hope Estrella Feelgood wasn't invented from my imagination yet. The storyline ONLY revolved around her boyfriend/husband, Harry James Potter who's played by 1️⃣ of my celebrity crushes, Daniel Jacob Radcliffe.

- Amazing

Harry Potter is my favorite movie of all time and this soundtrack captures the most memorable moments in the movie

- CRUD!!

This whole album is CRUD end of story!!!!!!!!!

- Good Soundtrack

this album is also very good. Not quite as good as the first, third, and fifth, but still it was awesome. It gets five stars only because Fawkes the Phoenix is one of John Williams best songs. He truly brings the movie out as well and with help from William Ross, he did a fabulous job!

- Can't review what I can't hear

I have been trying to buy this album for several weeks and I keep getting an error saying the item is being modified, try again later. Please fix this so I can buy this album!!

- Great Soundtrack!

This soundtrack is amazing and right on the bat! John Williams perfectly blends the sounds going from comical to adventuresque even some mildy gothic strings. The HP theme is as haunting as ever. Fawkes the Phoenix gives me chill bumps every time I listen to it. While, Gilderoy Lockhart gives you a quirky little smile. The Camber of Secrets is dark and mysterious giving you the feeling that somthing dreadful is lurking deep within the castle. This is sooo better than Patrick Doyle!

- It's ok.

It's ok. Personally my favorites r the prisoner of azkaban POA and the half blood prince HBP I like Nicholas Hooper and John Williams but I don't really like William Ross. Too bad cuz this is my fav movie.

- Pretty obvious!

Gilderoy Lockhart!

- John William's finest

When this movie came out, gosh 7 years ago, I wasn't (at that time) interested in music, I am now though. I had just joined band but I didn't really give a hoot. However I did like the original Harry Potter theme (dubbed Hedwig's Theme). I didn't discover how good the music was in this movie until just recently when I watched the series again (to prepare for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince coming out on Wednesday!!) Fawkes the Phoenix is amazing, one of the most beautiful pieces I have heard. I would overall just buy this album, but if I had to recommend one it would either be "Fawkes the Phoenix" or "Reunion of Friends". Simply amazing!! Click yes if you agree David Yates (the director for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2) should bring back John Williams to do the music. John Williams has stated that he wants to come back and conduct the music for it.

- An awesome soundtrack (:

Can't go wrong with John Williams.. I love Chamber of Secrets, to me it is the best Harry Potter movie of them all, and I love almost all of the songs on here. The best are "Fawkes the Phoenix", "Reunion of Friends", "Harry's Wondrous World", "Chamber of Secrets", "Cakes for Crabbe and Goyle", and "Introducing Colin". However, a few songs get old really fast, like "Gildroy Lockhart" and "Dueling Club". Overall: awesome. John Williams is amazing, and I love the music and the movie<33 I can't read the book withot listening to this(:

- My favorite By Far

This reminds me of my childhood when I would sit around reading the first four Harry Potter books over and over while listening to this soundtrack. It made everything feel so real. John Williams is absolutely amazing and made this the best HP soundtrack (:

- x-treemly goodified!

L-O-V-E it!

- Attack of the clones

Did anyone else notice in the quiditch match when Harry and Drako our chasing each other it plays the score when Anakin and Obi-Wan were chasing Zam Wessel????

- Could it get any better!?

You must, by all means, buy "Reunion of Friends." It is one of the best classical songs I have ever heard. Also get "Fawkes the Phoenix." John Williams is truly a force to be reckened with.

- Enjoyable

This album was fun to listen to. If you enjoyed watching the movie, you'll enjoy listening to the music.

- Expelliarmus, motherf—-er.

Of course it’s gonna be good, it’s JOHN FRICKIN’ WILLIAMS!!!! Only... it rather sounds like the first one all over again. Not saying that’s bad, cause there ARE new tracks which are awesome. I liked Meeting Tom Riddle and The Chamber of Secrets. NOTE: The only thing different about the so-called Chamber of Secrets version of Harry’s Wondrous World is the ending. Otherwise, it’s exactly the same.

- Yes, AGAIN

He rules again! This is better than the first one, if possible and it's for any mood! Fighting the basilisk and Harry's wonderful world are, in my opinion, the best. I love this album and the movie

- HP and the Chamber of Secrets

This soundtrack is amazing. It has a depth to it and it draws you in with the very first song. It is so pretty and you can't get enough of the music. Everytime I listen to this, especially Fawkes the Phoenix, The Chamber of Secrets, Dobby the House Elf, or Reunion of Friends, it makes me want to run to my living room and pop the movie in. This is worth the money in my opinion.

- this is the best

this is one of my favorite harry potter soundtracks(hp3 is also really good). MY favorite song is fawkes the phoenix. this is the best song ever

- Gets old quickly

^

- Seriously

If we want a bad album we'll make one oursleves.

- a under cover harry potter dork!

o my gosh i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are my favorite!

- Always an Inspiration!!!!! Incredible as always

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MUSIC IN EVERY MOVIE!!!!!!!! The composers really know how to bring life and meaning and magic! to these incredible stories of the wizarding world.

- The best songs

WILLIAM BANE??? bro. Fawkes The Phoenix- just a beautiful tune. Gilderoy Lockhart- He’s annoying in the movie, but amazing in the song. Fawkes Is Reborn- cute scene in the movie, and John Williams really nailed it. Moaning Myrtle- cool and upbeat. The Polyjuice Potion- very good song and would recommend to anyone if

- Harry

I looooooove Harry Potter

- great album def. a buy

This was another great work by John Williams, however i dont think it was as good as some of the other harry potter albums, and some of the songs seemed to drag on, so if u are picky, i would not suggest buying the whole album, but instead going through and listening to the demo's and then buy the songs you like

- what is this

this soundtreack was so bad that i didn't buy it that's how much it sucked

- love it

love the move love the songs

- Another one?!

Man, what a composer! Just when I thought he could not have done more masterpieces he came up with this one and shut me up! John Williams couldn't be better or maybe he could have? People, purchase this album if you are a John Williams or an Harry Potter fan.

- GREAT!

THIS IS A GREAT SOUNDTRACK. IT REALLY BRINGS OUT THE MOVIE. JOHN WILLIAMS IS A FANTASTIC COMPOSER.

- This is a really great album.

I own this CD, and I think that it is genius music. Everything on this album complimented any scene that it was in. Also how can you go wrong with Harry Potter?

- Absolutely phenomenal!

"Fawkes the Phoenix" always sends chills up my spine. So wonderful! John Williams does it again!

- Love it

I love this album heard it over 81 times

- Harry Potter albums rock!

This album is by far the best. I love the other ones too, but this one is awesome! John Williams is amazing, and each of the albums just get even better and better. This soundtrack has a variety of songs, and they are all really good and worth buying. All of the Harry Potter albums are awesome and have great music on them. Fawkes the Phoenix is my favorite song on the soundtrack, but they are all really good. They tie in well with the movies. I cannot wait for even more Harry Potter soundtrtacks to come out!

- HARRY"S WONDROUS WORLD!!!!

I bought Harry's Wondrous World as a single and let me just say it's just soo amazing how John Williams can make such a wonderful peice!! My mom used to work with the London Symphony Orchestra and I always praise her for this song. Thankyou LSO and John Williams for this beautiful music!!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Wiki

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fantasy novel written by British author J. K. Rowling and the second novel in the Harry Potter series. The plot follows Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, during which a series of messages on the walls of the school's corridors warn that the "Chamber of Secrets" has been opened and that the "heir of Slytherin" would kill all pupils who do not come from all-magical families. These threats are found after attacks that leave residents of the school petrified. Throughout the year, Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione investigate the attacks. The book was published in the United Kingdom on 2 July 1998 by Bloomsbury and later in the United States on 2 June 1999 by Scholastic Inc. Although Rowling says she found it difficult to finish the book, it won high praise and awards from critics, young readers, and the book industry, although some critics thought the story was perhaps too frightening for younger children. Much like with other novels in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets triggered religious debates; some religious authorities have condemned its use of magical themes, whereas others have praised its emphasis on self-sacrifice and the way one's character is the result of one's choices. Several commentators have noted that personal identity is a strong theme in the book and that it addresses issues of racism through the treatment of non-human, non-magical, and non-living people. Some commentators regard the story's diary that writes back as a warning against uncritical acceptance of information from sources whose motives and reliability cannot be checked. Institutional authority is portrayed as self-serving and incompetent. The film adaptation of the novel, released in 2002, became (at the time) the fifth highest-grossing film ever and received generally favourable reviews. Video games loosely based on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets were also released for several platforms, and most obtained favourable reviews.
