This girl might be pretty, however, she does not have much range. I am glad to have lived through the 70's and 80's; real music.

Her voice isn't really original. The actual musical parts are very good. Excellent beats. She has the type of voice that I would def listen to in the car but would think twice about spending my money on her. I think after downloading one of her songs I would listen acouple times and then always skip over her on my ipod(JMO). I am not saying she is horrible she has like two good tracks. She just hasn't convinced me to become a fan.

Cold Sweat gets to me everytime, tbh. Also, bated breath, far side of the moon and indigo child have been my songs for at least 2 months straight, she's addictive, her lyrics and her voice are captivating. Would honestly buy a recording of her reading a dictionary. Amazing.

I'm obsessed! She has a really good voice and none of the songs sound the same, they're all different but compliment each other well. There's some upbeat songs, some chiller songs and even the interludes are captivating. 💝 So much potential and she's so invested in music.

Pleasantly surprised! Love Tinashe. Would have given 5 stars but I thought 2 of the guest rappers were unnecessarily over the top with their vulgar lyrics. Don't get me wrong, I love a raunchy rap, but schoolboy q was too much.

Tinashe is one of my favorite artists of all time. She is not mainstream music-- she is one of a kind. I consider her to be the epitome of an aquarian. I am an aquarius as well and this album speaks volumes to me. I love you Tinashe!

I hardly ever come across an album that I 100% enjoy, but this album was phenomenal in all ways possible. Favorites are Bet (an absolute masterpiece), Feels like Vegas, cold sweat (another masterpiece), and bated breath. Not to mention her incredible live performances of these songs. Please give this album a listen! You won't regret it.

Love All Hands On Deck, Wildfire & 2 On!!

It's hard to imagine that the same young lady who played Jakes next door love interest, Celeste, on the sitcom Two And A Half Men, would re-emerge a few years later with possibly one of the best R&B albums released in recent times, but here it is. This album comes packed full of sexy, seductive R&B jams with cameo appearances by rappers Schoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky and Future. Many of you would have heard the single "2 On" but the whole album is worthy of a good listen as their is not really a dud track to be seen here. There are obvious hints to the kind of material Janet Jackson was producing throughout the 1990's, particularly around "The Velvet Rope" period. Given the quality of material on this debut by Tinashe, one can only expect that the future looks bright for this young lady, who has the very real potential to take on Beyonce for the crown of pop superstar.

This is a great album. The first 3 tracks are reminiscent of her mix tapes and have a dense groove. Far side of the moon is a highlight with the tinashe’s soaring vocals over a busy yet grounded beat. Thug Cry is also a highlight with a late 90’s touch with raw vocals. Tinashe pulls of her teenage-like voice well. Very fresh song. 2 On is also pretty good. Trashy lyrics delivered with class over a modern groove. However, ScHoolboy Q’s rap ruins the vibe. Even worse, Future sounds like he is doing push up on How Many Times. How many times is reminiscent of Janet Jackson and we don’t need future on the song sounding pathetic. Hands on deck is utterly generic to as well as feels like vegas. However, hands on deck has a surprising third verse with a middle-eastern influence - an influence similar to ‘What am I looking For?’ on tinashe’s Reverie. Bated Breath also falls short but after some highs and lows, bated breath, a futuristic yet spooky timbaland-like production, Tinashe brings it with a home run. The chorus evokes a progressive-pop sound with a touch of reggae yet the verses have a timbaland sound that flows magnificently. Overall, I score this album a 7.8/10. Very fresh album, some spooky yet sensual songs and some breathtaking moments like on track 11. Great job tinashe!
