You have to give it a chance. I expected something like Kaleidescope Dream but this is very different. When i first heard it i was actually disappointed but now I cant stop playing it. This album is genius.

Classic smooth voice! Vocals are amazing and for once the lyrics are actually meaningful. (Comparing to new music these days)

It's for sure a mixture of Rock, R&B, and Funk. If your not open minded and don't give it a chance, you won't like it. I had to listen to it twice to really get into it. You gotta get a feel of the music, it's different. Very sexy (he does sing about sex a lot! I don't mind!)

Hmmm, this isn't an album you can easily write off as "bad" because it's different from his previous work. I respect Miguel for always pushing the envelope and showing a blend of many genres, honoring past artists( Prince, Jimi Hendrix) but also giving his take. With that said, it's a good album with some solid hits. However it does not have that smooth R&B sound that made us fall in love with Miguel and I think that would have been a nice addition.

I really dismissed him with the last album. Even with the success of Adorn. I accidentally stumbled upon "Coffee" and fell in love. I listened to the album on Spotify and immediately had to come and actually buy it. It's aggressive and a twist from Kaleidoscope Dream but absolutely a step up. Anyone disappointed came to the album with Adorn 2.0 expectations. Miguel is not solely R&B. I figured this out within a week of repeated back to back listening of KD and this album. To expect that from him would be setting yourself up for disappointment. (Even though he kind of gave you all a warning about this other side to his personality via "P***y is Mine") The album's about opening your mind, being fearless in your wants/desires/needs. It's raw and rough. I'm definitely a fan now.

I can tell that Miguel is growing as an artist and I'm very happy with this album. I hear funk, soul, electric and r&b. I'm happy that he isn't afraid to be different. Very sexy album.

If you like his old music buy his old albums I appreciate and love how he's not doing the same ole Miguel but changing it up and adding so much flavor to it! I love it!

This album has to be one of my favorite so far.. I've never actually listened to a full album of Miguel until Wildheart came out. He has totally did it with this album! I wish I could give it 10 stars because that's just how amazing this work of art truly is.

I feel like Miguel was trying to step out of his comfort zone, like every artist does. It's a hit or miss kinda deal and this definitely was a miss. The music overpowered his sexy soothing voice. I disliked everything about this album. I'm aware as an artist you should progress from old ways, but sometimes old isn't such a bad thing. I hope he doesn't fall into the arms of what's trendy and instead falls back into the arms of soulful.

This album is Miguel. He is a versatile artist; "the Artist formerly known as" (Prince) of a new generation. His vocals are always on point even with eccentric/alternative instrumentals. Miguel can do any genre and make it sexy. Make his audience feel desired even on a live stage--that's where you hear the classic R&B. The album is just another dynamic to life, love and sexuality. I appreciate it!

I was so eager to download his new album and support one of my favorite artists but after I did... I kinda wish I could get a refund and pay for the the 4 songs I listen to. I love Flesh it's my favorite! Before the album came out I played out simple things, coffee and Hollywood dreams. I'm left with not much now. If musically he wanted to try this sound it's fine but, where are the vocals? Barely any singing and lots of auto tune or whatever you wanna call it. I dig the guitar riffs just give good melodies I can sing along with. All in all, I gave him a generous 3 stars.

I've really gotta give props where it's truly due..I've followed Miguel since "Sure Thing"; I knew he was going to be a star! He has such feeling and bares his complete soul on every track as to every album he has released by far! This album is amazing, and with every song, channels Jimi Hendrix to a "T"; Muguel truly shows his eclecticity in every hit produced, and in every thing that's he's done by far; with this album, he's proven himself an actual artistic genesis who's music and rock pop taste ready to be shared with the upcoming decade, "neo nineties" as to other decades that'll look to this style of music for a very long time. Much Respect to this artist, for this album represents realness and as to what the real genre of rock truly is! 💯🙌🏿😎

I went to the Wild Hearts concert (twice in nyc). Miguel is amazing. I really like this album and am grateful for an artist like him in the game. He is very talented and likes to push the envelope. I highly recommend this album if you like R&B with a neo soul flair. Keep up the good work, beautiful miguel😘💯

This album is the weakest album he's put out yet tbh he needs to stick to his guns and make real rnb that we loved him for and lay of the coke and stop trying so hard to be different. So disappointed

Honestly this album isn't for everyone & nothing like the previous, it feels really alternative but it's so soulful, I don't even know what else to write to describe it, except that I love it!!! However I didn't love it initially, it grew on my like learning something new, it took me a few listens to truly appreciate this musical work of art & this horny man's music lol (I say that only to segue into my main point) Miguel has a way of making his listeners feel sexy, as if he's singing to you specifically, this album doesn't fall short in this department & does so effortlessly... It's beautiful but again not for everyone. The valley is one of my favs & NWA 😍😍

So I was actually reaaaaally excited for this album. I was ready man. I don't know if it was just cause my expectations were way too high or.. I don't know what happened but I'm kind of really disappointed in this album. I'm not feeling it. I love his voice man. This guy is talented af. But this album.. I just don't like it :/ I thought it was just me that was trippen and just didn't like it but as I read other reviews I'm not alone. Oh well.

Why do people say he is trying to be too abstract and different? Some of the best musicians of all time wanted to be different. He is putting out music that he wants to put out.. He is abstract in his thinking and it shows in his music. I think he enjoys other music besides RnB and uses that fondness for different genres in his own music. He is still evolving as an artist and wants his fans to see all of his talents as a musical artist. This album truly feels like how he really is personally and not a record label forcing him into a bucket just so he can be played on black radio. I know radio stations will not automatically play the songs, but if streams/social media stay strong they will pick up alot of the songs after everyone has already heard them a hundred times. It's a shame in a genre such as 'RnB' people are giving crap to a guy that wants to show creativity, show alternativeness to what we are used to hearing. If we stayed listening to the same old RnB, there would be no Thriller, no Purple Rain, no Miguel.

Intelligent, meaningful r&b presented by a deeply talented artist. It's unlike anything else we hear out there. Will be surprised if this doesn't win Best Album of the year.

I'll start off by saying I've been a Miguel fan for years, and I may speak for myself but I really enjoyed this album. If you're one who is in to his older work this may not be for you, but I really enjoyed what he did with this album, lots of diversity. I bought the whole deluxe album and definitely don't regret it. I've heard many say this isn't the Miguel they like but I for one loved it.

I like this album a lot despite what other people think. I like that it's different, and as an artist Miguel is doing what's best by not staying repetitive. Some of the songs aren't my favorite, but ...goingtohell is one of my favorites on the album. I wish he didn't changed the original title of "Coffee" but whatever.

This is a really good album definitely not anything like the r&b of yesteryear. Thank goodness for that. The style reminds me of D'Angelo's most recent album.
