Album of the year, get over the dirty vocals kids, every album is different and amazing, couldn't adore any more than I do, its a stellar album.

Such a grand album, great new sound yet still a bit hard rock, different from there past albums but still good ;)

While I understand that Oli went though rehab, and no longer has a desire to scream, that doesn't mean that BMTH have to turn into a Top 40 band. There are a couple moments in the album when you think "Yes, this has some potential. Keep going in this direction," but they don't last long. Lyrically, the album isn't flash either.

They have gone from metal to more soft rock. Its a new direction that will really suit some who are into a more softer genre but older fans of heavy head banging riffs from previous riffs will be disappointed

Amazing album, good job! Such a different direction of sound from Sempiternal and definitely compared to older albums but the new sound they've produced is amazing and I'm really enjoying it! Many fans complain about a bands new direction in sound but in all honesty, what is there to complain about, That's The Spirit is a fantastic album! What happened to Bring Me the Horizon making good music? They have changed so much, and they sound like a commercialised version of Linkin park, aimed for 13 year old girls.

The sound is great so far, I'm enjoying it a lot.. But for a band of 5 talented people I feel like there needs to be more depth in the actual sound of the songs to come. Lyrics are always great, but I want more depth and more to listen to✌️

I've only started listening to bmth 3 years ago and sempiternal was the first album I listened to. Fell in love almost instantly and I'm sure I will with That's the Spirit! Throne and Happy song are awesome but they kind of had a similar rhythm. But nonetheless, their music is so rad.

Ive loved these guys from the start and still love them now, not many bands can keep me listening for as long as these guys… $%^#ING LOVE IT...

I love this album, I like when a band changes to something different. from count your blessings to this, dramatic change but I could listen to this album all day everyday. appreciate the band, don't hate.

Don't get me wrong I like 30 seconds to Mars but I never would of though a brand as brutally great as BMTH would ever release such rainbows and butterflies type of music. Yes the lyrics still have some brutality to them but their new sound? Where are the breakdowns and screamo? When you have such amazing albums like "count your blessings" and "suicide season" and than listen to the new album you wouldn't really be able to tell they are the same band. For such a talented band I'm disappointed. Bring back the music where I had to google the lyrics because I wasn't sure of them instead of singing and some scream here and there and clearly hearing every word.

Such a different, new sound. To me I am loving it! A lot of energy and change and excitement coming from these guys! Good on them for constantly progressing, album-album. Jordan fish has brought some new sounds to the table which are new, refreshing and nothing short of a BREAKTHROUGH.

I love it! So much different the when they first started, especially if you remember songs like Rawwrrr XD. They have grown so much as a band, and I honestly don't mind that they're not as "heavy". Haven't stopped listening to it since it released! :D

Renewed respect for these guys. This album, from the songs I've heard so far, is killer. I love the fact that they have taken a different path, I know they'd gain haters and some 'fans' would dislike their new style. However, this goes to show they are much more talented than your generic, same sounding bands! They have style and have proven they can manipulate any style to suit! ❤️

So, i've been listening to Bring Me The Horizon for about 2 years. And if you're a fan of There is a Hell, and Sempiternal, this album is very.. Different. Its more pop than rock, I do miss the roughness of Oil's voice, but the band just wants to go in a different direction. The new Drown is great, Blasphemy and Throne are my favorites so far. I have to say, i'm really not 100% if I like this new album too much. Sempiternal and There is a Hell were by far my favorites, the meaning behind the songs were screamed at me while emotion hit me like waves, where as, with this album I don't connect with as many songs. But hey, listen before you buy! This could be someones new favorite band.

I love happy song but tbh, I don't really like throne, I can't even tell its oli, it's that auto tuned. I'm just really hoping the rest of the album will be more like happy song and less like throne......

I have mourned the "Pray For Plagues" for years now. I am absolutely over samples, electronic beats and choirs when it comes to this band. However, it sounds like they've embarked on revisiting some of their old heaviness, amidst plenty of samples and other unnecessary elements that take away from vocals. Let's just hope that they don't stop at this and that their music finds its origins again.

It's so funny to see all these comments about how amazing bmth sound, yet if you were to play football seasons over you'd all be like who's this?? They suck! Although I still like bmth they've lost their appeal of being a metal band and succumbed to comercialism. Ps THRONE should have been called FRONE! Lol

I love this record because that's exactly what they've taken... A chance. It'd be easy to put out another metal record and keep some happy, but BMTH are looking for those to take a chance with them saying 'that's the spirit!'

All the songs are brilliant , reminds me somewhat of Linkin Park when they had put out Hybrid Theory and sounded great , although not exactly the same genre love all the songs , still an amazing albumn love the melodic touch .

I've loved bring me the horizon since there first Ep and count your blessings and tbh I love the new sound. While there original stuff is amazing there new sound is perfect for them I love best friends and throne and can't wait for the rest of the album!

The two singles are amazing, as I'm sure the rest of the album will be. This is Bring Me the Horizon in their prime, Oli has never sounded better. Can't wait.

There's a hell believe me I've seen it put you guys on the Playing field, sempiternal was a HOME RUN!! This puts you guys out of the game and back on the bench!!

I can respect a band changing their sound and i think every album up to sempiternal had its own sound and its own depth, but this is so mediocre and bland. I was hoping they would expand on the unique elements of sempiternal, but instead we got this super cliche, linkin park- esque, unoriginal garbage. Way to go BMTH, sempiternal showed so much potential. You've lost a fan.

so it turns out Bring Me the Horizon is now a pop band, according to their newest album. for those that liked the older albums and even sempiternal, this is very different, and very boring. it feels like these songs had no effort put into them at all. and the worst part, there wasn't a single song with actual screamo, which is what made them popular. I hope that their next album tracks back to metalcore, otherwise these guys are gonna turn into coldplay pretty soon
