The song ‘Cake’ is about Cry Baby and a boy having all the chemistry it takes to be in a relationship, but he just wants to have sex with her and does not want a real relationship. She refuses to let him have sex with her because she knows that once she does, he will leave her behind. She decides to break up with him before he can break up with her. Cry Baby states that if he considers her a "cake" then she considers him "meat", meaning if he can use her, she can use him as well. Cry Baby notes that can be replaced easily, whereas a piece of cake is uniquely made and harder to throw away without regretting due to its looks and taste.
