Wow now this is the album that I had in mind when I first heard the talk of a Doc 2. Disk 1 was a cool commercial release but disk 2 is a more gritty unfiltered rappers rapper of an album. Great album a must have!

The Game's new album The Documentary 2 & The Documentary 2.5 rocks! That the legend right there, I like that song El Chapo & Gang Bang Anyway is one of the best joint

I've been a day one listener of the game and have bought and listened to every album and mixtape repeatedly waiting for something to compare to the first documentary and this definitely earned the title without a doubt his best work in the last ten years and I believe this album will be the defining point of his career and earn him the right to be called the king of rap

You will get a great inside look on what Southern California Gang Bangin is all about. Songs like For Adam, 80s & Cocaine and My Flag are the sleeper tracks that make you feel like you’re in a 360 Imax movie theatre on the block of West Brazil and Wilmington Blvd. The Games delivery is unreal and even with his features, he just comes in and bats clean up on fools.

Game is back!! Although there are a lot of collaborations, he shows off his west coast skills and lyrical potential. He can keep up artists like Kendrick, Nas, YG, schoolboy Q and others without sounding fabricated.

The documentary 2.5 is the best album of the year for sure game followed up the 1st one with heat! 🔥🔥

Whatever happened to an artist coming out with an album by themselves. I can understand 2 or 3 featured artist on songs but the game can't do a song by himself. This album shouldn't even have his name on it.

Man I been waitin for him to get back to this style. He went back to his roots on this album both disks. The red album n one after were a lil too pop for me but this one is str8 FIRE! It's back to the documentary with a docs advocate twist.

FINALLY Game is back on track Lovin' this hole album

First half is really deep and touching *EMOTIONAL WARNING* the track about Tupac might make you cry The album then takes a detour towards gangsta love songs After that the Game gets real about life and his family The album ends with the hypes the track ever "El.Chapo" Though it may seem hard to top, The Documentary 2.5 is better than The Documentary 2, which had the more modern features with in turn will do more numbers with sales. The Doc 2.5 is more of a story as each track flows into the next. Both albums are definitely a worthy sequel to the Original Documentary. And together, they definitely create an artistic expression, a "Documentary" of The Game's life and environment. (Pun intended)

Disc 1 is a winner for me...and I don't even like The Game like that. He's trying to reflect his love for old-school west coast music, but it manifested the entire disc, so it made it less interesting. Overall, this disc was not as diverse as the first one was *shrugs*
