After the ultra disappointment at the modern pop sound of their last album I had almost lost hope in Coldplay's future but, although this album is a step backwards, backwards seems to be the right direction. With flavoursome grooves and melodies that get stuck in your head, this album reveals some of Colplays roots, I love them all over again!

Ghost Stories was memorable, this is mesmerising. A stunning album from one of the truly great groups of the modern age. All the way through a real gem. I had a feeling they would come roaring back with plenty of pulse. And they sure have. In my humble opinion maybe their best yet as a collection of songs. Thanks Coldplay and hope to see you in Auckland.

Our family loves this album. Once we went to the concert, ours and my adoration for A Head Full of Dreams amped a hundred times over! The opening album-titled song is an awesome anthem, Hymn for the Weekend (and the Seeb remix) is always blaring through my speakers - a shout-it-out-loud-and-proud banger which Queen Bee beautifully adds to. Adventure of a lifetime is an obvious favourite, and Amazing Day keeps up the euphoria of colour and light. Colour spectrum is an interesting mystique which summarises the album nicely. Overall, one of Coldplays best albums ever!

I absolutely love this album. There are so many layers to each song, you can kinda lose yourself in each piece. Usually in albums there are those couple of songs you skip past that aren't as good as the rest, but all these songs are perfection. Well done Coldplay, and thank you for giving us such amazing music.

Beginning with Charlie Chaplin’s voice over monologue from “The Great Dictator” this satirical comedy from 1940 ends with the inspiration we all need and with Trancendentalist frame of thought. Emanating good vibes that stimulate the nucleus accumbens, the neuroanatomical home of the our mortal soul? A Head Full of Dreams is definitely an album you can dance to- it's totally fun-loving, and mostly upbeat. It's also quite the contrast to Ghost Stories, which I fell in love in, but it seems as though this album is the beginning of a new era. 5 stars, thank you Coldplay!

Love this album. Still my first favorite I heard was Hymn For A Weekend. I learned if this song from and through India since Coldplay used India as the backdrop of their video featuring Sonam Kapoor and Beyoncé. Although I did not see nearly as much use of Sonam Kapoor as her celebrity would suggest, the song and video are very beautiful. The color used as though it were festival of Holi was beautiful also, if even slightly cliché. My next favorite is Up and Up and I must admit I actually heard of, and fell in love with, a cover version if this song done by Lennon & Maisy, two young sisters with immaculate voices. Their version made me look up the original, finding yet my second favorite from this album. Love, love, love this message. And now, Adventure Of A Lifetime. The song, the video, a short movie. A hugely involved vfx project in association with The Imaginarium & Mathematic. The faces of the artists are reflected in the chimpanzees, in the video from the lead single from this album, as they listen to the song and dance. What's not to love!? I could go on, but I suggest you buy this one yourself and watch the official music videos as well on YouTube. Such a great project and this group never ceases exhibiting genius.

This album makes me happy

The song "hymn for the weekend" really got me into Coldplay. I love older Coldplay as well. Coldplay is a joy to listen to and I hope they release more albums.

I love the new sound

This album doesn't get enough credit. It's very good. I love the psychedelic and funk sound to this album, it's truly great.

I have no problem with a band updating their sound, and trying something different, but at this point, Coldplay has just gone too far. What's the point of having a "band" if no one plays on the albums but Chris? Will's drums have been complately replaced with a programmed drum machine, Guy's bass is nothing but synth, no bass guitar to be found, and where oh where is Jonny's brilliant janggling guitar work? The only guitar solo on the album is played by Noel Gallagher. I embraced Coldplay's changes through the years, even going so far as to say Viva La Vida passed Rush of Blood as my favorite album from them. But this is simple cash-in radio pop now. There's nothing resembling the limestone rock that was there, even up to Ghost Stories. I've tried many, many times to get into this album, but the only decent thing here is Chris' voice and piano work. There's just nothing else on this album that resemples real music played by a real band. This is all a producer's brain child, and Coldplay sold into it. They can't even play these songs in concert without backing tracks coming through the speakers, because it's too layered with keyboard and synth tracks. If I wanted to listen to the Who without guitars... Let's not kid ourselves, no one wants that. But that's what we have here. The good part is, it's only an album. Maybe we liken this to Def Leppard's Slang, or the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper. Maybe it's something they'll try once, and realize how much no one wants to hear it, and go in another direction with the next one. Back to the rock. Just think, we could have an Abbey Road or Euphoria next time out.

I really believe that Coldplay has really improved their sounds to bring in next generation fans. And I really has been a long time since their last release so to have some trending songs for months after the release of the album is just amazing. Well done Coldplay!

No, it doesn't sound like a old Coldplay, but it is phenomenal nevertheless. There is not a song on this album I skip.

I don't know what Coldplay was think when they put Obama in this album. How stupid is that. Come on Coldplay think before you do. Other than that I know this album isn't like the originals at all, but that doesn't mean they are all bad songs. I absolutely love parachutes and X&Y, don't get me wrong, but some of these songs are a step in a great new direction. If they could take some songs on this album like: adventure of a lifetime, head full of dreams, and Hymn for the weekend and put them with some songs like: fix it, yellow, etc. they might have a best seller. So Coldplay if you are reading know that I love your band, but this idea could restore mine faith in you guys and a lot of others.

Coldplay never fails and you can really sense that they love what they do and they are here for the art that is music and nothing else. They transmit their feelings to the listener and they help you see what music should really be like. I love them! And if you ever get the chance to go to their concert, do it!!!! You'll have zero regrets. Mark my words!

I think this album is best listened to beginning to end. I loved Mylo Xyloto and also love this album so far.

Coldplay used to be so different, like a group pushing the limits in the studio, but little by little for worse they became a pop group. I'm just sad I'll never get another album like parachute. :(

I felt in love with Coldplay's music when I listened to Yellow and The Scientist. The other albums are great on their own. Coldplay put their own signature to all of them. The piano, the lyrics and the guitar. This one sounds too much pop and not a lot like Coldplay. The first single was OK from a Coldplay fan kind of view but the rest is very disappointing. I prefer Ghost Stories. If by any chance you get to listen to the album that has the extra tracks. I recommend Ghost Story. This one really surpasses any song from this album. Well. This is just my honest opinion.

Okay, let me start by saying that this album is the by the best band in the world. Coldplay is, and will always be, my favorite band. When I have a wife and kids, I will be playing these songs for them to enjoy all the time. When I saw the band perform live, it was stunning. It will always remain the best experience ever in my life, or, as some might call it, an "Adventure of a Lifetime". (Pun intended). When the band walked on the runway in the middle of the stadium to get to the other stage, they were inches from me! It was amazing. Now let me address the haters, who say that Coldplay has gone "commercial" and "pop". So what? They're experimenting! They're trying different kinds of music, to attract different audiences. I also hear that this is the band's last album, and frankly, I think that after 16 years of success, they deserve a bit of a break. I mean, you wouldn't believe what they had to get through to get to where they are today. Did you know that the drummer, Will, didn't even know how to play the drums when he joined the band? Now, he's perfect! Even The Beatles lasted less than half of what Coldplay is still lasting today! That's why this band shouldn't be hated on, and instead be loved continuously throughout years to come. So yes, Coldplay sounds different, but they should not be hated on because of their style. They must be cherished forever, and appreciated forever.

After seeing them live, I HAD to have this album! Such positive, happy vibes from these tracks. Great album.

I listened to this album on my plane ride to visit Puerto Rico and it was a rough trip that brought back those memories that make you happy it happened, sad they are over, and destroy you over the fact that you'll never be able to create new ones with that person again. I took off to Everglow and landed to Adventure of a lifetime. Metaphorically speaking this band that one person that has been with me through the down, confusing, and lonely times. 💛

Why all the hate? I can actually say I love every piece on this album. I can not wait to see them in person on tour. 😄

Altogether, this album is pretty great. The rhythms are catchy, the singing is phenomenal. One thing people tend to overlook, however, is some of the lyrics. Particularly, Hymn For the Weekend. I love the song in general- it's so powerful. But I feel like Coldplay could have done something more with such a powerful song than repeat the same words- "drink for me" , "but with you I'm drunk and high, so high, so high." Any young fan might not even realize that these words are being said, but it feels almost as if Coldplay is encouraging getting intoxicated and using drugs. Just my opinion. Two of five stars for the great vocals and heavenly sound, but some of the lyrics made me less and less likely to give the album five stars.

Update after 1 year: This album is really lame. I don't like any songs enough to keep it on my system. Just deleted it. Hope the next one is better... There is not even one song on here that I am excited about repeating. It also doesn’t SOUND as good as their old albums. The new “DJ" producers obviously recorded these songs into a laptop and messed with the sound until all of the life was sucked out.

I just recently got into Coldplay, and this is definitely my favorite album of theirs. I love every single song, which is RARE for me. Aside from some of the albums of my all-time favorite artist, this is my absolute favorite as a whole.

I was sooo excited for this album. My first time listening to it, I hated it! Thought it was garbage. I gave it another chance and I have to say, every song grew on me the second time around. "Fun" is my absolute favorite and I'm not sure how it wasn't one of their singles. Saw them in concert in Santa Clara and loved how they performed almost every song off this album. Coldplay never disappoints me <3

I know I hate change, but Coldplay's change is actually pretty good. I love every song they create, and I hear people say that these songs aren't as meaningful, but I believe that is only being said because of the change in their style. Meaningfulness in songs don't come from the style of the song, they come from the lyrics and the emotion. Coldplay is an amazingly talented band and have the right to try experimenting with their music. Anyways, love the album.

This is going to be my honest review as a Coldplay fan for 15 years. I don't like how people can give reviews with only one song out, and those are the ones you see first. Apple needs to change the system so that you can only review the album once the full album is out. And don't think I'm biased, because I like pop, rap, rock. But I like my Coldplay to be Coldplay. And this, once again, isn't Coldplay- it's pop music with Coldplay's name on it. It's disappointing, that's all I can really say. When they were playing the songs live, they sounded amazing. The producers did a really bad job. This album is too tame, it features other artists like Tove Lo and Beyonce (and Barack Obama????) when Coldplay are far too talented to have to feature anybody else, and it's far too pop-y. If this is indeed their final album, I'll be very, very disappointed. Up&Up is one of their best songs ever made for a live audience, but listen to it in the album. Barely any instruments until Jonny's first and then Noel Gallagher's second guitar solos. The instruments are definitely there live, but they disappeared for the stuido version? It's too tame. I was looking forward to this song more than anything in December. Huge letdown. Everglow, however, saves this album. This song is on my top 5 list ever of Coldplay songs, and probably my top 10 favourite songs ever now. It's up there with The Scientist, Fix You, Violet Hill, and A Rush of Blood to the Head- songs with lyrical meaning and actual piano in it. So, thank you, Chris, for giving us one final good song. Amazing Day is nice too, but far better live.

Coldplay would go un-noticed. The band’s initial 3 albums were amazing. Viva La Vida was a mixed bag and the last 3 efforts were just plain mediocre. Ghost Stories is easily the worst of the bunch. Not every release can be a masterpiece, but when we stack them all up it’s quite obvious now that Coldplay’s best work is behind them.

Certaines chansons sont de la scrap comme kaléidoscope c'est du n'importe quoi. Pourquoi pas avoir fait un album de 6 chansons tant qu'à mettre du remplissage. C'est malgré 2 ou 3 chansons le pire album de Coldplay.

I ❤️ it. Coldplay has grown and evolved through the years. Their journey has been beautifully captured in this album. I can feel their optimism, reflection, curiosity, spirituality, and nostalgia in their lyrics and sound. To this Coldplay has been true. A job well done and I wish all the best to Coldplay on their next adventure of a lifetime.

As always there are nice songs, but sometimes you wonder if it's Coldplay or just Chris Martin.

The only songs i like are BIRD and EVERGLOW. The rest I could do without. I fell in love with Parachutes when it first debuted, A Rush Of Blood To The Head was also an incredible follow-up….X&Y was good….but they began to sell out after this album. I didn’t connect at all with Viva La Vida or Mylo Xyloto they were too pop and watered down. This new album is very much the same as Mylo Xyloto…Ghost Stories was an incredible album! Of course they didn’t tour with it, because it wasn’t radio friendly enough or mainstream enough, who knows….now they are touring with this album and i won’t be going…lol Apparently this is their last album. In all honesty I’m sad, but not all that concerned anymore…. they seem to have lost their indie pop sound with melodic lyrics and themes…I guess that’s what happens when bands get huge.

Whyyyyyyyy must you change your music style. I get things change and people need to adapt. But why mess with something that was already so good, great actually. Everglow is the best song off of this album.

Army of One... Just WOW

I'm really digging this positive, mood lifting album! I know some long time Coldplay fans don't care for this sound, but as someone who's loved & listened to them since 2002...I evolve with them. Looking forward to seeing them in North America, since we didn't get to see their Ghost Stories mini tour. Fave tracks so far: A Head Full of Dreams, and Up&Up.

This album is great!

Every song on this album is well done. I'm a personal fan of the first track, A Head Full of Dreams, but each song brings a new element to this carnival of an album. I've been a fan since I heard Clocks for the first time, and though sounding very much like Myolo Xyloto, this is happiness with a twist. Great job, Coldplay.

I found 4 good songs: Hymn, Ever, Adventure and Up. All the rest is badly arranged and unfocused music. There is a difference between rich sounds and chaotic arrangements. One even try to go into hip-hop mode, which sound horrible and destroy the first part of the song. Up&Up suprised me because they were singing together with a choeur...different and nice. A deception because I think it's weaker then Ghost, yet good because more energizing. I think they should stop those 1-2 year releases...give yourself a 3 year minimum, to 5 years maximum. They can afford it, and choose better and meaningful songs. I would broke that rule only to release an instrumental or experimental album.

If Adventure was anything to go by, I was really excited for this album but I must admit, it could potentially be my least favourite of the 7. First of all, what is this business of having filler tracks like Kaleidoscope and Colour Spectrum and then leaving us with 9 songs? They did the same with Mylo Xyloto. If the band had put everything into this album, like Chris Martin had said, surely there would be more than 9 complete songs. It would also be a different story if they were 9 of the best Coldplay songs ever but they're not. AOAL is amazing and ranks among their top 10 and I think Birds, Everglow, and Up&Up shine as well in this album. However, I'm confused as to how Amazing Day made the cut. This song sounds like it was put together in 5mins. I am a massive Coldplay fan and would rate every other album with 5 stars but this one has disappointed and I certainly do not hope the band makes this the last one. Get back to the raw honesty of Coldplay and include the talents of every band member. Something tells me Guy, Jonny, and Will didn't have much input on this album.

Coldplay never seems to disappoint! I've only recently become super interested in listening to them and I'm in love! This album is refreshing with more uptempo songs, but still includes beautiful vocals, melodies and chords. Can't wait to get the hard copy :))

I know Coldplay has changed their sound a lot since the beginning and I haven’t been a huge fan of everything that has changed. That said I love the way that they continue to innovate their sound, it’s unheard of in the modern music industry. This album is an absolute treat to listen to, it reminds me a bit of their old sound but still keeps this dance heavy and pop feel that I’ve come to expect from modern Coldplay. Chris and friends have done nothing but impress me and I will continue to love the band. Everglow should go down as one of their greatest ever in my opinion. Thanks for years of amazing music guys and please, please keep making music. I hope one day I can experience it live. 10/10 will listen to this album on repeat for days.

Apart from the single, it's the same old. All the big name artists don't really help Coldplay break new ground. Although, there are little sparks of their genuine sound and originality throughout a few songs, overall it's what you'd expect from a big name on a big label trying to break into the top 40 again.

Classy and Intelligent! The thing I love about Coldplay is that they always embrace a progressive attitude while retaining the best elements of their sound. I'm especially impressed with "Everglow" and "Army of One".

I'm not a fan of their pop sound. I have their first 3 or 4 albums and they're way better.

If i could give this album 300 stars out of 5, I would. This album is so eargasmic is makes me want to cry waterfalls of joy. Coldplay never fails to disappoint me. Not when their music had less of a “pop” tune that many claim they have nowadays and not now in this album. At the end of the day the lyrics are beautiful and hold so much meaning which ultimately, is really the only thing that matters.

I love it! Army of one and Fun are my favourites, but they are all so beautiful. I love how they change each album. This one is on replay.

Coldplay is a much better band when they sing ballads. Everglow is really the only song that I enjoy, as the rest are upbeat and just doesn't match Coldplay's sound. I can understand that they want to expand, but should have done a better mix of upbeat and slower songs. Love the band, but ultimately disappointed by the album.

Adventure of a lifetime, like for most people, hyped everyone to death for A Head Full of Dreams. For those of you who keep 2011's Mylo Xyloto in a special place in your heart, prepare for the ride. Everyone else may have to listen more than once, as this new album does deliver, but in a new way that a lot of us may not adjust well to. Every track on this album includes its own taste of joy and happiness (if you don't include the "Obama"), as Chris Martin expresses his feelings in an enthusiastic fashion. But all this glitter and glammer just doesn't seem to live up to where Ghost Stories left off. Sure you have a killer single and Beyoncé to top it all off, but it's as though they have hyped it all a little too much? Some of the tracks try too hard on the audio side, (if the audience likes the live performance better than the muffled mainstream wannabe noises that sound more produced than played, there's a problem). Other songs overdo the lyrics tossing random enthusiastic words in and out. The rest is history, almost literally, as it is perfect to say the least, but almost referable to other titles.. All in all, great album, but the feeling of the lack of tune itself, as well as the fact that 80% of the album isn't even free, leaves a bitter sweat taste in my mouth.

'A Head Full Of Dreams’ is a truly stunning album. A year ago Coldplay released ‘Ghost Stories’ which was a break up album this album is about looking at Chris Martin’s old relationship in a positive way. The lyrics continue to blow me away and this according to me is the best album ever. Coldplay has done it again, I wouldn’t hesitate before buying a Coldplay album and this time was no exception and I am clearly not disappointed with it. Coldplay have done a great job and you will not be disappointed.

Coldplay is an amazing band that will be around for a long time. They are a true band with incredible talent. You don't just listen to their masterpieces you feel the music on a whole different level.

This album is great, it shows that coldplay can dominate the pop/alternative genre. Every song in this album are deep with lyrics and the music is unreal.

I'm a big fan of Coldplay, I like the way their song are put together and the pictures they paint. This album however is dull, boring in fact. No pictures just a plain beige wall of nothing. No clever word play, no groove, no excitement, no pain. Just simply nothing. A waste of recording time I'm afraid.

Took a couple of listens to get into the song. It's a happy fresh change from the somber tone of Ghost Stories, so I think the album will be positive like Mylo Xyloto. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to the album! Great title too x

Very impressed by the new album. Hoping they make the trip back over you Australia on their world tour! Army of One is by far my favourite track, hope it becomes a single!

Aside from Everglow and Hymn for the Weekend, the album just sounds a bit... blah. The melodies are a bit bland and there are no real stand-outs, just mediocre atmospheric music. It feels like Coldplay are trying to play this album quite safe, unlike their previous albums which had songs which went in all sorts of directions, not just generic pop funk tunes.

I really don't care about what the negative reviews as they are not me and I am not them. Ghosts Stories and this Album are the only Coldplay albums I have; I am very happy with where the band is heading. Sounds like some are stuck in the past here 😕; for those they will have to wait another 2 to 5 years to hear if the old ColdPlay comes back; that's if 😂. Other wise; keep up the Good work ColdPlay 😎

Coldplay tend to polarise, but I don't know why. I love that they are not bound by genre or style. You never know what to expert except that they have this knack of always delivering catchy hooks and melodies. Awesome job boys.....bring on Dec 4!

Just listened to ‘Everglow’ for the first time. My reaction. I was simply stunned. i was in tears. I cried. This whole album simply amazing. !0 out of 10.

Hats off to Coldplay for doing a brilliant job at adapting their original style to suit the modern audience, but still not letting go of their roots. And a couple of songs like Everglow and Amazing Day actually did have some vintage Coldplay. Overall a great album, have it on repeat!

Yawn.......Im dissapointed I loved Coldplay on Parachutes, enjoyed their transformation on Rush of Blood and X & Y. I embraced their change of style on Viva la Vida. Album No 5 was total Garbage. Ghosts was a little better but this really sounds like its vomiting confetti. There will never be another classic from this band. "Adventure of a lifetime" is the only hit song on this album and it'll bore you with its repetition after two listens. Coldplay have lost the honesty and integrity that drew us all in, in the first place. Now I can finally say, Next!

Coldplay brings us a new album just over a year from their latest. 'A Head Full of Dreams' marks a possible end of an era for one of the world's greatest bands, and this album is exciting from beginning to end. From the very start, the album gives you an incredibly feel good vibe, with a majority of upbeat, exciting songs with the occasional slow placed, more traditional Coldplay song. A must for any fan of Coldplay.

Obviously this album has a new sound that we've never heard before from Coldplay, which is what they do with every album and it's spectacular. To me, there are vibes of something coming to an end throughout the whole album, especially with the last track in the way it dragged on as if you were finishing something you didn't want to finish. It's quite evident that this album is closing the first chapter of Coldplay. Quite sad :( but time goes on

This should of been called "50 shades of beige”. I’d rather listen to my kids furby sing. There’s not much going on anymore with this, a real shame for a band that’s given so much.

Yet again Coldplay have not failed to deliver another excellent album! And what a change of direction from Ghost Stories! The album is much more upbeat and there are several songs on there that you can imagine singing along to in a stadium of 50,000! Bring on the tour I say! And to the doubters how many modern bands have consistently delivered this amount of quality albums and still sell out concerts all over the world?

Picked this album up from the store thinking it was a Sempiternal deluxe special edition, got home put it in the stereo and there was coldplay songs on it. BMTH remixing coldplay songs now or colplay just stealing artworks? hmmmm

This album goes from Peaks to valleys, which is what a good album needs to do, but this album never really gets off the ground and falls flat. A very mediocre effort coming of the collection on mylo xyloto. The complation of songs on this album don't work with one another, and the big songs on the album are forgettable. This is an album of b sides.

Army of One is the standout for me, but it's a really balanced album. A big step up from Oceans, and slight step back from Mylo Xyloto.

So before i say anything futher i want to disagree with everyone who has said that the new album is rubbish. I think this album is absolutely stunning!! Yes it's different to their previous albums and the style that they now perform in, but i dont see why that should make them go down hill. They are one of the worlds biggest bands and have achieved so much over the years. Amazing songs like 'Fix You' and 'Viva la Vida' also phenomenal albums such as 'parachutes' and 'X&Y'. Im really disappointed in all the hate going round, when i read the reviews for this album i saw 90% hate and 10% love. I really don't understand it to be honest because most of the people who said they dont like it claim to be big Coldplay fans but straight away they are straight up saying the album is rubbish. I read one comment that said 'someone make Chris Martin sad again' i found this comment really sad because i realise that people have said that a lot of Coldplays songs are sad and depressing, which I totally disagree with, but now they are saying a more upbeat album that still has slow songs like 'up&up' is too upbeat for the band. I really hope that the band continue to make amazing music and ignore all the hate because i know me and the rest of the fans absolutely love their work, every single song, album. Everything.

There are some amazing tracks here like Hymn for the Weekend, Adventure of a Lifetime and Birds. But most of the other tracks fall short and end up sounding bland. I'd honestly recommend purchasing the songs I mentioned. The rest probably aren't worth your time. Look into their older material for a better 'album' experience.

Ok. So Coldplay are my favourite band and probably always will be but I just can't get my head around this album. It's like I should like it as I've always rated highly past works;especially the first 3 albums and lots of their b-side material. A head full of dreams though is to me is really wishy washy and missing something. I hoped each track would lead onto something with a bit more energy but disappointingly no.The only track which perked my ears up was An army of one. I longed for Will's powerful drumming and Jonny's superb guitar rifts but it never came. All in all too poppy and mainstream for my taste. Even listening to them on dance/r&b music stations is odd. You would never hear major minus or God put a smile upon my face on these stations. Maybe I'm getting old,who knows,but I hope seeing them live in the summer will change my mind. We'll have to wait and see ;)

I knew I had heard the background riff on “Adventure of a lifetime” from somewhere else. “Cafe Del Mar” D*Votion by D*Note. Mmmmm! I think they need to give them some credit! - That said, I think it’s one of the better Coldplay songs around.

I was a bit disappointed with this, most of the songs are a little generic for Coldplay: Adventure of a Lifetime is not a good song. The only real standouts are Birds, Army of One and Kaleidoscope (which I actually rate very highly). These three are the only reason I give this album 3 stars. Second worst Coldplay album to date, a shame for their last full album.

Very very good

Expensively produced, glossy and twinkly, but in places sounds EXACTLY like Mylo Xyloto. If I were Coldplay I'd be a bit embarrassed. It dazzles you with it's sonic wizardry, but it's only successful when it strips all that and gets to a decent tune, which is only there in a couple of songs (Amazing Day, Up and Up) but even these feel like throw backs. There's no real song underneath the bouncy production of the first single. For something that's obviously taken months and months of post-production to put together, it's still lazy. Time to call it a day, boys, and find a new direction.

I love this album. I love how it's like Mylo Xyloto and you can listen to it and it merges into one. That's how an album should be. Catchy songs and a nice beat.

Coldplay have evolved, as any band should. You can't go on and on producing the same thing - a lifetime of music should be a journey that begins and ends in different places. This album is brilliant, as was the majority of the rest of their work.

I've loved Coldplay for 12 years now. I've never stopped. This album was great and the band said that they had the most fun. I feel like some people who are bashing all their work since 2005 need to lay off. Despite What some fans want they always do what they feel is right. And I will support them till the end. Defiantly recommend hymn for the weekend,ever glow,fun,adventure of a life time and army of one. Loved this! Coldplay are getting their mojo back :)

Hymn for the weekend and adventure of a lifetime are the only songs I downloaded. Just like previous albums, I only download the songs I like, as opposed to the entire album. I like Coldplay, but am not an avid fan. I like several songs. Bottom line, the two songs I mentioned, plus Princess of China, Clocks, The Scientist, Viva La Vida, Speed of Sound and a few others are their best.

Coldplay never cease to amaze me!! It's certainly different but they just continue to get better and better. It's incredible how they're even better live !!

Unfortunately I have to give it one star as it won't let me give a big fat 0. What happened to a great band with great tunes. I ended up giving the cd away.

I want them to make music just by using instruments again instead of adding electronic sounds by computers, because to me, that's not talent. My favourite song from this album is Everglow. Parachutes will always be the best in my opinion, because it's done by just instruments, so is X and Y and the other albums they have done.

My god Coldplay. What have you done? Were you overdoing the vaping? A talented bunch of musicians now sounding like they are twirling about making demos with a drum machine and they launch this on the public? Anyone giving this five stars obviously has zero taste or credibility.

I’ve only purchased singles from Coldplay in the past as it’s been for me very hit and miss if i like the songs and full albums. When this was released I streamed it a few times and quickly found that I was soon picking up the songs and singing along with them. You know what, I like this album.
