This is Acting by Sia is a very good album. I really really like it. The vocals and production on the songs are great! Sia truly is one of the most talented artists alive! Most of the songs are very good! My favorites are: Reaper, Cheap Thrills, Sweet Design, Bird Set Free, and Unstoppable. My least favorites are: House On Fire and Broken Glass. Overall the album is very good. I'd give it 4.6/5 stars!

Sia's voice is hypnotic with strong backing rhythms and on This is Acting, she does not disappoint. "House on Fire" moves from section to section so fluidly that, at times, you think you may be listening to a different song. No. "Move Your Body" makes you want to ...do things. "Alive" makes you ...feel. The list goes on. Listen on equipment that deserves music and production this good.

Sia is an amazing artist, songwriter, and person in general. This is Acting is a combination of many amazing songs that she wrote for others like Rihanna, Adele, and Katy Perry, but got rejected by those artists. These songs are so inspirational and everyone who calls their self a Sia fan should obsess over this album.

I downloaded cheaper a month ago, but now I do not like it since it is all over the radio. My mistake was not waiting. If I had listened to the whole album I would have downloaded six of the songs(have two on my iPhone already). After watching Dancing with the Stars I could not get over how beautiful "Birds Set Free" is. I immediately downloaded that song. Ellen being Sia for Halloween was great. To date I have five or six songs on my iPhone by her.

I seldom buy nearly every song in an album anymore. I did with this one. I can't believe that Sia wrote these songs for other artists who ended up not wanting them. It is her best album because it is full of techno beats and catchy lyrics while remaining true to Sia's indie pop sound. For me, this is the best album of 2016. Check out "House on Fire" and "Bird Set Free". Both have helped me get through a tough year.

Actually, kind of pathetic to call this music.

This album is pure art

I've been a Sia fan since I first heard her singing with Zero 7. I'm a huge fan of her earlier music and it's no surprise that fame and noteriety has caused her to evolve as an artist. Unlike most artists though, Sia continues to deliver an amazing product with her incredible and unique sound. This is album is yet another example of her talent. This woman truly is unstoppable.

Sia is unique in so many ways. One thing that really sets her apart from other artists is the way she really captures the emotion in every song she sings. Each note really digs deep and brings out the true emotion, which is something not all artists can do. I can hardly wait for the rest of this album!

Reaper needs the single treatment. Sure it's repetitive, but it's a catchy ear worm that needs to be on the radio.

Sia once again delivers a flawless record with superb vocals and lyrics from a true poet and artist. This album is just as good as 1000 Forms Of Fear, if not better. It is full of radio ready hits, dance songs, and ballads. This is Acting has been criticized for having a lack of personable and emotional songs which is mostly due in part to 11 of the 12 tracks being written for other artists in mind. I praise Sia for realizing the potential for all these songs and putting them together to create beautiful masterpiece. Standouts are Alive, One Million Bullets, Move Your Body and Reaper. This album is well worth a listen!

I love the fact that, unlike many albums, the songs are not all the same style and yet they are easily associated with Sia because of her awesome emotionaly powerful voice! I love it and cain't get enough!!! :)

This album is just amazing each song has a total different feel to it but every single on of them are all Sia. I know the album is called "this is acting" but each song goes perfectly with sias voice. And don't get me started on the gem that is broken glass. Wow oh wow that song is just amazing. Anthem.

I’d imagine all the people that rejected these songs are going to be sitting down in darkened rooms and drinking heavily. Although, it has to be said that it’s doubtful that anyone could sing them as good as Sia. A triumph.

The real mastermind behind some of the ‘top’ charting pop stars. For an experiment as Sia herself calls it, this is incredibly successful. Her vocals and songwriting skills are fantastic. One of the best albums I’ve heard in a while & she can actually sing live. Shame Rihanna had to release on the same day but Sia wins on quality.

I loved Sia's last album but this one is even better, it's got a few more upbeat songs than 1000 Forms of Fear. I genuinely can't stop listening to it! My favourite so far is Reaper, I'm so glad Sia ended up recording it rather than who it was written for. The only song I'm not taken with yet is Space Between but I've only listened to that one a few times compared to the rest of the album! Sia is unlike anyone else in the charts at the minute. Her voice is on another level, absolutely incredible!!

If ever an artist was on top of there game right now it has to be Sia ..
