I hate Diddy. Biggy is dead and he still cant stop making money off of him. Not only that the album reaks. Biggy raps for like 1 verse then the rest of the song is featured artists. When Biggy was alive he would never make this crap.
I've had this cd for about 3 months, and it is probably my best one so far. Every track on here is good. It also includes some of my favorite rappers. Twista, Eminem, and The Game find themselves on this album. If you don't have it, GET IT NOW!!!!
Biggie might be gone but he is blowin' up.
If you are a fan of B.I.G, there sould be no dout in your mind that you sould get this cd. Not one song, the WHOLE CD! Pay your respect to the king of east cost rap.
this album has to be the best album ive ever bought at the store or bought a song from on itunes. I mean with hustlers story and hold ya head and spit your game you cant go wrong. all of them are very good and i congradulate diddy and co. for a job well done on this album. I mean everybody is on this album (well pretty much everyone) BEST ALBUM EVER
listen i bought thisw cd the day it came out its tight how can u not like it it has a bunch of different rappas that all fit good with b.i.g he had flo and the rappers on this cd match his flow a must buy
The is a great album..not the best. Being that Biggie wasn't here to grace us with his amazing lyrics of course this album won't compare with his others. This album is a tribute so what can you expect? I'm have been a fan of Biggie from the beginning so I would have purchased this CD regardless of the rating. If you are a true fan, you will add this to your Biggie collection!!
Im a great fan of BIG and loved his music and what he did for hip hop in the 90s. Im probably going to catch heat for saying this but this is a "Final Chapter" that should not have been written. If you haven't already done so go pickup "Life After Death" instead of this money grab attempt by Diddy and the Bad Boy crew. It all feels thrown together with a bunch of mixed up remixes of Biggies material with more guest appearances than I can count. Dont waste your time. The only track I still have on my iPod is "1970 Somethin".
I've herd so many reviews about this album saying how Biggie shouldn't be rapping with these newer hip hop artists (such as Nelly), "Because that's not Biggie's style." Even if this is true, last time I checked you listen to songs because you like the actual music. So before you misjudge it, listen and see for urself.
Although for most of the songs you have to skip the new artists' verses they are still great beats and Biggie is amazing. I hate Diddy for using his friend though.
When I heard that biggie was making I thought it would be another classic but If Your a real biggie fan you understand what i'm saying. For example almost the whole cd is filled with biggie's out rhymes from Ready To Die & Life After Death.Songs like Spit Your Game is Notorious Thugs from Life after death.Nasty Girl Is Nasty Boy,I'm With Whateva is Ready to Die.Hold Ya Head Is Suicidal thoughts. Matter a fact there even more guest apperance that biggie dosen't even a track without someone in it.but even though i'm a biggie fan I have to show this album some love.
do you seriously think that diddy needs more $? And im sure all the people that really listen to the music know that diddy did it for BIG. this is a good album. you cant say that everyone in this album did it for $ and nothing else. like diddy would ever do that to his closest friend. also whoever said diddy killed biggy, what are you thinking?
Yes we all know that this is just some of Biggies old verses remixed into new songs but still show some respect to the best rapper of all time. Even if they are compialations so what, it is still great music and Biggie is still the best. RIP Biggie
NOTORIOUS B.I.G. IZ DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget Diddy tryin 2 get quick cash, Biggy is gon ya'll..... gosh We all seem 2 forget that these r humans 2! you arent coverin' biggy's grave expenses, ya'll are payin puffy for music that he CLAIMS is Biggy's!!! Remember: Hollywood will do ANYTHING for Money...OMG!!!
Yo listen...there is some good music in dis album but diddy isn't trying to make any more money with this album he ALREADY had enough... BIG was his friend and wasn't using him for money...he was making another album to remember BIG
Sspit ya game and nasty girl are some of the best remixes in the album!
YO! As a radio Dj i wish i could play every song on this album to show people what real hip-hop is. This dude is dead and his rhymes still are felt. So what diddy kinda rapped him by putting out this album. His rhymes still make it. This album was needed for all those kids out there who don't know B.I.G. or even Pac. I also think that diddy put the right people on each track. With that i mean the "Clipse" cause they are so underated in the game. This shows people who just started listening to this thing we "black people" call rap music that 50 Cent ain't everything. I don't call this a CD its what I call an Album because you can listen to it from the beginning to the end. Thats all i have to say.
Best rapper...dead maybe alive...umm yeah
*The* Notorious B.I.G. is the man. He raps so easy and his lyrics are amazing. He personifies what it is to be a NYC bad-boy. It is true that he doesnt do a whole lot of rapping on this CD but each of the guests on this CD do it justice. Songs such as "Hold ya Head" are not great songs but the mixture of two legend make it a must-listen. Definately song of the week quality.
This CD is awesome and puffy hater is cyco and there all probally tupac fans........this is better then any pac cd
my new favorite song has to be hustler's story
how could you not buy this album this is one of the greatest rap masters of all time
Bad but not as bad as chamillinonare only song that is good is just a memory everything else is poop mostly nasty girl and spit your game they would not be that bad if they used the biggys old lyrics and let some rappers rap in the other songs beef by mob deep and biggy is also a good song
this album is hot! every joint on this album is tight! my top 5 songs are : whatchu want, living tha life, 1970s somethin, mi casa, and get ya grind on. im from new york so u know i had to cop this joint! R.I.P. Biggie forever! Harlem, STAND UP!
this album has some cool songs but still needs work.
THIS ALBUM IS THE FINAL CHAPTER OF ONE OF THE GREATEST RAPPERS EVER. This album takes some big names in rapping as well as reggae (rip marley) and mixes them with the lyrics of biggie smalls. The prolougue and that stuff is beyond me but my personal favorite is wake up with korn. ROCK AND RAP TOUGETHER......IT SHOULD BE HAPPENING MORE. the bad boys have done it again.
Im not feelin it.LOL,anyway why are most rappers B.I.G?Its not healthy did u know u can die and ur heart can explode if u weigh to much like 400 pounds.Take care of urself out there. -Rap is Crap
I think most of the money made by this album should go to Biggies mom or someone related to him. I think it's messed up that they just went back, tweaked some old songs that he rapped, and make millions off it. The originals are better anyways. There using biggie. Also, why is Korn in here, Biggie wouldn't to be rapping with some hard core rocker!?
him and pacs cds should be in a museam
i thought this was a pretty good album with clipse just a memory and nasty girl but for all u guys i like rap and rock so the only reason why KoRn is on there is because they have done other songs on there album were Nas came on one and Ice Cube did.songs r Play Me feat Nas and Children of the Korn feat Ice Cube thats probly why diddy included KoRn on this album. thats just my opinion but otherwie prtty good album P.S. listen to the song wicked by KoRn on life is peachy album and watch the twisted transistor music video got lil Jon,Xzibit,SnoopDogg, and David Banner in it
biggie neva fails kill who evea killed him he waz a legend
This is one of the best B.I.G. cd's out there. It really shows what hip hop can do when they all work together. I just wish people who don't like rap would stop posting on rap cds to give them bad reviews.
bvnvnbbvbnbbnbvbbnnnnnvnn COME ON! But its sad:(
If Biggie was still alive not of the rappers would have a chance in the rap world [maybe only 50 cent]. This a great album!!!
what do u mean this album is no good its the best EVER!
The Notorious B.I.G. is the one of the best if not already the best rappers of all. Listen to Spit our Game, nasty girl, and mo money mo problems which are the best songs on the market. Biggie is a very consistent song writer, he used to come out with a crazy great song all the time, not like those artist who are one hit wonders for a few months then everybody forgets about later. Biggie is the GREATEST of all Time!
this is a great album, the rythms and beats are crazy
dont buy this album the music has no rythm and i DO listen to rap so im not saying this because i only like other kinds of music.
my song took 30 min to download there was like 10 errrors in it wow fix it (throws some d's on that *****)get that song i be happy
Good c.d. but since it is the "Final Chapter" i expected way more. It feels like 16 tracks of remixes full of guest appearances. Best tracks are "1970 somethin" and "Living in Pain"
This album got me addicted to Biggie nuff said
This shows how every hip hop rapper loves and was enfluenced by biggie in one way or another collaberating some rappers who have beefs with other rappers singing together with that rapper on this cd. its a prime example why biggie whill go down in hip hop history theres no doubt u shuld give up some duckets 4 dis cd. And 1 mo' thing The Notorious!
Biggie's great and a great rap leader but tupac is more my style
This is probably the best cd I have ever heard
LOOK, BIGGIE IS AMAZING...I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS ALBUM ESPECIALY "HOLD YA HEAD" WITH BOB MARLEY... PLEASE BY THIS ALBUM IN MEMORY OF NOTORIOUS B.I.G.
What a great CD! I suggest Nasty Girl and Spit Your Game although all the songs are awesome.
This cd was overall good. I hate the fact when they make Cds like this but if you truly apperciate music, this cd is good. The production on this is good and it mixed well when biggie rap with other rappers. But no more of these "Duets" and let the legend rest in peace.
this album has good beats and great artists. you should buy the album. it's not one song on the album that's not bumping.
If you do not know who the clipse is ur crazy, Just A Memory Is one of the best songs on the album with the song with Bob Marley.
I aint gonna lie... I liked more than some of the cd but the originals are so much better. If you want good biggie lyrics to different beats and less featured artists pick up Rap Phenomenon done by DJ Vlad and Dirty Harry. It's real good. Biggie mixtapes are ALWAYS good. R.I.P. BIGGIE... you are missed
