I love that this album sounds fresh without sacrificing the unique sound that the Lumineers have. It's brand new, but it still sounds like them. That's what I wanted and I am not disappointed.

The previous album was by far more superior than this one. Ophelia was amazing but that's about it.

After such an amazing debut album, Lumineers fans have waited 4 years for essentially part two of their first release. There is nothing new in Cleopatra other than the fact that it was released this month. Their music is pleasant to listen to, but this album shows a lack of creative longevity and little to no growth.

I anxiously awaited the sophomore release of The Lumineers and my patience was awarded with the most beautiful album of the year. The trio's writing is full of character driven lyrics that are haunting, heartbreaking and honest human experiences. Longing, regret, death, love, afflictions - you name it, this has it. I can't wait to see them perform live this summer.

I wanted to love this, but as much as I try, I can't. The pre-release songs had me very excited. Unfortunately the rest of the tunes are boring and sound exactly the same. This band completely doesn't get what made the first album and their live shows fabulous.

I absolutely love the folksy foundation to each of their songs, which especially shines through in this album. Bravo!!

The imagery of this album is so unreal. They killed it! Best album by the lumineers. Make sure you get the deluxe, some of the best songs are on there.

For my talent show in elementary school I sang," Ho Hey" and played guitar to it. Now 4 years later I'm in high school and was on my computer doing homework when I was listening to Spotify and an add came up for the Lumineer's new album. I though nah this is too good to be true, so I clicked it anyway and saw you could pre-order and I cried of happiness! Their music is so wonderful and a mixed variety. Very well worth the wait. My favorite songs are Gun Song, Ophelia, In the Light, and Sleep On the Floor.

This album has more of a relaxed tone and is simple, yet complex. Music is great, lyrics are great, so very oustading album in my opinion.

I like the Lumineers, however this album isn't what I was expecting it to be.

Didn't expect any less than this from them. I still prefer the old album more, but Cleopatra is on point. First 3 tracks are certainly must haves if not the whole album

I listen to this every morning while getting ready it's really calming and nice. All the songs are really good, my favorite is gun song. But i love this album, if I could rate it more stars, I would.

This album is amazing!!! The band has a unique sound and the instruments are great. You can feel the emotions they sing about and they really are very talented musicians. This album has been playing on repeat in my house (and car!) since the first day it came out.

The Lumineers kill this the whole album through. The bonus tracks break up the sequencing but even they are great. There aren’t many albums I just leave on repeat for days but this one kept going. The 20th time I was listening to the acoustic version of Cleopatra it occurred to me I should pick something else. The songs are catchy, the lyrics are thoughtful and expose deeper meaning as you understand each word. Check out Gale Song if to see what I mean. This band has the ‘it’ factor and I can’t wait to see what they do next...
