I love Meghan Trainor's music. She is a very talented artist, but her songs seem to be copies of other artists' music. For example her song "No" sounds as though it could be a Destiny's Child song. I know Meghan Trainor's fan base is mainly teens, so they may not be old enough to know the artists' music she is copying. Therefore, they may praise her for having such good music, when they really should be praising the artist she got her inspiration from. She is not the only artist to do this, Bruno Mars (I love him too) has shaped himself to be like Michael Jackson at times. Nevertheless, I still love her music and will continue to purchase certain songs, but I still believe that praise should be given where praise is due.

I don't know why there is so many bad reviews for the song "NO," because it is actually a good song and one of the only few this year on the radio worth listening to. I like some songs and don't like others. The ones I bought were: Me Too, NO, Woman Up, I Won't Let You Down, Dance Like Yo Daddy, Champagne Problems, Mom, and Thank You. This group of songs I purchased is actually the best music of the year in my opinion. Champagne Problems could easily be a great chart topper. I couldn't get on board with All About that Bass and those songs because I don't like the country/folk thing. Then with Meghan's collab with 5H on "Brave Honest Beautiful," and with JD on "Painkiller," I knew there was potential for good songs from her. I hope Meghan sticks with songs similar to the ones I purchased, because they were some of the only good pop songs in 2016.

This album, although very different to her last, is great, and I think you either love it or hate it, there isnt much inbetween. But I love it, and all the songs that have been released so far too. The meaning in her songs is still there in some of them, but thats what I miss the most from her other album.
