- Stop praising mediocrity.

Radiohead puts out terrible music and somehow the nerd masses paradise them. Not one good album from these clowns since "The Bends." Stop pretending Radiohead is special.

- Absolutely AWFUL!

Music to slit your wrist to and die in agony. GOD I MISS THE AWESOME RADIOHEAD! PLEASE PICK UP GUITARS AGAIN!!! Never thought a band I loved this much would go so far away from everything that made them great. But I guess that is what happens when you let Techno Thom run the show all the time. Booooooooooo!

- breath of fresh...excitement!

This whole album is amazing! I replay it, and still, I find new sounds. I especially love the strings in Tinker Tailor Soldier... My favorite tracks so far are The Numbers, Identikit, Ful Stop and Decks Dark. But as with all Radiohead albums, my favorites change all the time depending on my mood.

- Phew!

Man! What an amazing compilation! The poetry, the music. Truly inspiring and well done!

- It's Radiohead

...like seriously. What else do you need to know. It's awesome as usual.

- Best album since Kid A

Really impressed. The flow of the music goes real well start to finish. And The Numbers is possibly the most Zeppelin-ish song I've heard that isn't Zeppelin.

- genius

improvement over last album....

- Stew burp review

True love waits...blows me away

- Worth the wait

Radiohead continues to transcend into unique and evolving territory. This album is well crafted having an overall theme of dreamscapes or lullabies with Thom’s haunting voice flowing through each song. Those that feel this is boring go in expecting rock anthems and catchy riffs. That just isn’t Radiohead anymore, and hasn’t been for some time, granted they are talented enough to create and album full of those however, Radiohead has never been one to conform. Instead, reaching for something new and different, making it a dull album to some but a treasure for others.

- Amazing

I always have high expectations of Radiohead when the release a new album and they never fail to deliver!

- Phoned it in

Atoms for Peace Album was 1000% better from beginning to end -- bring back the York and Flea power combo! Ultraista was 100% better from beginning to end. No way they reworked old stuff on a major album release, but they did. Any Radiohead album but this one, thank you very much. This is experimental music for old people, if it is even experimental anymore.

- Beautiful

When I first heard this, it occurred to me that it felt somewhat like Vulnicura by Bjork. The songs are haunting, sending sonic ripples across still spaces and calling us to the deep emotions which created them. Very much like the male response to Vulnicura indeed--which, to me, is the highest compliment I can give.

- Awesome!!!

Word,s can not describe how good this album is, I bought before I listened to it, all I can say is Thank You !

- Too Much Art Not Enough Music

I think the band has fallen in love with textures and ambience to the detriment of music. It's too bad because there is so much brilliance within their collective talent.

- thom yorke is still bummed out

i love thsi album, & I honestly think it's definitely one of my favorites 👌 a+

- Nap time music

It’s sad and depressing, but perfect! I play this album to get my class of 6 year olds to take a nap. It works every time!

- Excellent

Radiohead never disappoints! I have been a big fan since Ok Computer and this is just as good. They continue to be one of the most creative, innovative, cool, and original bands of my generation. I always feel like I am part of something special and above the rest when I listen to Radiohead. Fan 4 life.

- Such a Great Album

I have never been to so many places in the comfort of my own home. Right when I feel disappointed when one song ends, another comes to fill the void. If you love radiohead - you will not be disappointed.

- A New Classic

Great all the way through. It's more downbeat than the other albums but definitly worth a listen. It introduces new ideas and refines old ones. Great all around!

- The soundtrack to a dream/nightmare

This is going to be a classic in no time. Right up there with In Rainbows and Kid A

- A stellar late-career effort by Radiohead

A Moon Shaped Pool probably ranks in the upper half of the Radiohead discography. I would put this one right after their 3 classics from their prime, OK Computer, Kid A/Amnesiac (yes folks, it's a double album), & The Bends. "Pool" is by far their most consistent album from start-to-finish. There are literally no filler tracks or throwaways. It's also probably their most majestic and haunting. The songs that stand out the most to me are The Numbers, Daydreaming, Burn the Witch, Present Tense, & Decks Dark. Decks Dark feels very much like a new version of Subterranean Homesick Alien 19 years later. Songs like this are what make this band so thrilling and cutting edge. The Numbers used to be called "Silent Spring" and warns all of us about what we're doing to our planet & the inevitable consequences. It's incredibly moving and well done. To me, this is the album's centerpiece in the 8 spot. I think this is easily a top 10 Radiohead song! But then you get a gem @ #9 in Present Tense. This reminds me of one of In Rainbows' best tracks, Jigsaw Falling Into Place. And, it turns out, this song was written at about the same time. Make no mistake though, the other 6 pieces are all VERY good Radiohead songs. The only negative thing I can say about this masterwork is that the majority of the songs (I think 7) were played live in earlier years along the way, with True Love Waits dating all the way back to '95. So, in some ways this feels like a bit of a cheat. But, that's only nitpicking I suppose....if we can get an all-time great record out of Radiohead 23 years after Pablo Honey's release, we should be thankful no matter what the song's origins may be. And, to be fair, these songs mesh together absolutely perfectly. If you didn't know any better, you'd just assume these were all written in the same timeframe. The recording, orchestration & arrangements were very obviously done more recently to give the older songs a more cohesive feeling. Highly recommended for any Radiohead fan.

- Zzzzzzzzz Is Radiohead now Coldplay?

I have been a life long fan of Radiohead and the band’s individual solo projects. To their credit they are probably one of the last iconic rock bands and have always put their art before fame or fortune. They deserve a lot of praise for that alone. However, I find this latest effort a big disconnect. It isn’t the change in instrumentation or anything, I just find it boring and uninteresting. There are no hooks, or excitement, or new discoveries of any kind. It is bland to the point it could easily have been Coldplay instead. Can’t Radiohead just go back to being a great rockbound once in a while?

- Brilliant, utterly brilliant

This is a tour through emotions, climate change, indifference to other people. The album is beautiful throughout, this is not an album where you buy one song. Every song is excellent, all of them creating a theme of love, loss, complexity of human emotion. The strings and downbeat tone perfect, I had to listen quite a few times to get a glimpse into the universe that this album is. Perhaps the best Radiohead album ever, and that is quite a statement, definately the best since In Rainbows. Thank you guys for doing your part to try and save the world by creating beauty and thank you for baring your emotions is such an intimate way time and time again ending with the heartwrenching last song on the cd. If you love Radiohead, or have heard about them and want to discover them, this is the album.

- They did it again!

Epic. Love every song. Can't wait to see them live in Madison sq garden next month.

- Haunting Beautiful Mesmerizing

This album is a work of art

- Worst Radiohead Album Yet

If I could give it negative stars, I would. If Radiohead was trying to be intellectual and on a higher plane than the rest of us, they out thought themselves. Every song sounds the same (less one which is average) and they somehow ruined true love waits. For all that is good in humanity, save your money.

- Radiohead

Awesome album, every song is great. I literally can put this on with a bottle of wine and fade into the moon shaped pool. Love it.

- Terrible

Huge fan. Terrible record. No cohesion between tracks. Stick a fork in them.

- mimimimi

I love this album. Cant understand why anyone would want talented artists to keep re-creatign their first album over and over....evolve.

- Wow!

Once again I am reminded why Radiohead has been my favorite band for as long as I can remember. This album grabs you from the beginning and refuses to let go. Beautiful and haunting, this is art made by absolute geniuses.

- A little more organic than past few albums

Although the sounds of their past few albums aren't as prominent on this one, this seems to be a good thing. They have taken a small step back from the sound boards and electronics and picked up the instruments once again for a little more of an organic sound. One of the best exampless of this is on "Desert Island Disk" where the finger picking intro segways into hooking witty guitar strums. Pianos and strings come into play on tracks like "Glass Eyes" and the dreamy "Daydreaming". This isn't to say they've turned off their soundboards completely. There is still plenty of that on this album to satisfy the Radiohead fans from the days of Kid A

- Nice

Gotta say it's in my top 3 now

- Radiohead's rare tautology.

Carefully packed version of In Rainbows and Kid A.

- Beautiful and Haunting

This is, in my opinion, the most haunting music has ever put out. The strings, the lyrics, Thom's falsetto, the artwork, True Love Waits and the brutal honesty of Daydreaming wrench my heart in the best way. Buy it. Buy it now.

- Come on already

It's time for Radiohead heads to expect more!!! Why do we let them deface their own name with this crappy excuse for music, and praise them with 5 star reviews! You'll find more creativity reading the reviews for this album than you will listening to it. I was totally looking forward to hear what they would finally do with true love waits in the studio. So disappointing. It's amazing how long it takes these guys to put out such a total pile of crap. Not a single good song on here. Most of the album is so sparse and void of melody, this collection of tracks really doesn't even qualify as songs if you ask me. A total snooze fest. Useful if want something to put you to sleep really fast I guess. Wish I could give this album zero stars.

- They just keep bringing it

The latest Radiohead album is beautiful. They've traded in the distorted guitars, and tech sounds for melodic symphonies of wanderlust. This is the Radiohead album you've all been waiting for, just press play.

- A little sad

It's sad but delicate and beautiful always

- Brilliant.

For a record that is a hundred years old (take a look at the release date Apple!) this is remarkably well worn and kinda ahead of its time. Anyway, joke aside, another great record by Radiohead. Should we expect anything less?

- Gorgeous

This album seems to have more Jonny Greenwood in it. The strings are just achingly gorgeous. After the somewhat remote King of Limbs, this is an album I just can't stop listening to.

- Great work

It holds up well so far with repeated listening. It's not like their classic albums, but I like it more than King of Limbs so far.

- Awesome work

Created pristine diamonds and stored them in a pool and called them A Moon Shaped Pool.Awesome work Radiohead.

- Ethereal

This album is hauntingly gorgeous. It's like you're floating on a cloud with Thom Yorke singing to in that golden, imperfectly perfect voice.

- "Broken hearts make it rain" - Identikit

Beautiful and compelling album. Stands proudly with the band's best -"OK Computer," and "In Rainbows" being my favorites. Every song here would make every album that came before it better. Seek out and add Radiohead's recently rejected Bond movie opener "Spectre" to the mix. It's a brilliant tune, and the band's boldest use of orchestration to date.

- Way ahead of their time

This album is a century old and is filled with so much passion. Well beyond their contemporaries.

- The gimmickyness

My favorite track is ful stop..... FUL STOP, the ethereal gimmick doesn't grab me

- Provocative in all the right ways

An absolutely breathtaking album, one of Radiohead's best works to date.

- Hauntingly beautiful

Timeless master piece.

- The best thing since OK Computer

Incredible string arrangements, this album feels like the whole band had equal part in its creation. This one is personal, if it was the last Radiohead album it would be just fine. A masterpiece.

- Radiohead is back.

Best album I've heard in awhile from them.

- Innovators

Radiohead are odd birds. The stranger their plumage the more interesting they've become. With each new offering we expect stranger plumage, perhaps. This offering has the same beautiful finery one comes to expect from Radiohead. It's a gorgeous album.

- It’s finally here!

I already can’t get Burn the Witch and Daydreamer out of my head…this should be a great album!!

- New Radiohead!!!!! AMNESIAC meets KID A

Radiohead are back!!! This album is incredible! They seem to have gone back to basics with A Moon Shaped Pool. Very Amnesiac meets KID A. Thom Yorke released 2 video’s for DAYDREAMING and BURN THE WITCH within days of each other followed by this sudden release!! SO EXCITED!! Can’t wait to purchase this album on vinyl whenever it’s released.

- INCREDIBLE

Enough to of this OVO Sweatshop bull, true art is here again! Here's to more art and creativity 🔮🎈

- KID A and OK Computer had a baby.. and its beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous album. Love it to death already. Going to be ranked one of their all time best for sure.

- THOM KISS ME

PLEASE KISS ME IM BEGGING

- It's radiohead

So it is bloody awesome.

- Yes. I'm so ready

This album is very good:)

- Yessssssss

Best band in the world!

- Amazing

It is honestly beautiful and a little haunting. It is a bit different from their other works, but thats usually the case with Radiohead. They never do the same thing again, or at least the same way. Overall, i think this album is fantastic and i will be enjoying it all year. It probably won’t surpass the bends, kid a, OK computer, or in rainbows in terms of popularity but nevertheless it is a fantastic album and worth the money.

- A Masterpiece

Perfect album

- Album of the Year!

My anticipation for this album was off the charts, and they did not disappoint!!! Instant classic.

- YES

FINALLY AHHHHH

- Another masterpiece

Radiohead know how to get your attention. Firstly they delete their presence from the Internet and then a week later deliver two amazing singles- "Burn the Witch" and "Daydreaming". "A moon shaped pool" is Radiohead at their best. They have giving their fans music fitting for these doom and gloom times. This record sits proudly with "Ok computer" and " Kid A"

- .

I’d reckon a strong 9 on this one.

- It Radiohead!

Seriously, you're reading a review? I can only assume you're reading the reviews while waiting for the download to finish or for some uber hipster to give it one star because they're music elite and it's not like their first album...

- Welcome Back

Brilliant no other words...

- radiohead does it again

The Numbers and Identikit are amazing. Colin and Ed do an amazing job

- emilbuS deahoidaR

Just Exquisite.

- Radiohead

Love it. Thank you

- AMAZING!!!!

Their best album since Kid A, “Burn the Witch” and “Daydreaming” are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

- This is the best album from the past 5 years, period.

Who is rating this album 1 star ? Who ?

- Prog….ression

There’s no awesome stand out track, no absolute killer. But, it’s a good listen, very melodic and soulful, and moves Radiohead forward in their own development. Not like any other band or music out there, which is why I love them.

- No words, just amazing

Worth the wait. Every song is a crafted masterpiece. Decks Darks, The Numbers and True Love Waits are stand out tracks but none disappoint.

- What an album!!

This is Radiohead at their stunning best, moody, melodic, haunting and gripping. Only heard the previews and already giving it 5 stars. Incredible return to form, well done guys.

- Never fail to touch my soul

Thom Yorke is the composer of our generation..he is unique and incredibly talented..his voice is haunting and his melodies sublime…need I say more!

- Just gets better with each listen

Daydreaming is a simply beautiful song with the whole album following suit. True love waits is a surprising addition considering its age but is a perfect fit and ending to a sensational ending to the album. One of Radioheads best, and I'm a huge In Rainbows fan...

- Oh mein Gott!

Really exceptionally beautiful, I have gone into it expecting, hoping it would rock, ideally like In Rainbows. It's not that. It uses strings on a number of tracks and it just takes you somewhere else. Somewhere so much better than your morning commute, or slightly frustrating day at work. It is a dream and it's a really good one.

- Stunning

Cannot stop listening to this, it is absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Flawless.

- Amazing Return

I love reading the 1 star reviews of people who don't like the band?! So why review and rate low when you already know you won't like it. Then some absolute moron says that this should not get higher than (I am useless Beyoncé and even worse Drake) obviously this person has no taste at all! Radiohead have evolved and kept me engaged musically for years and I have to say that apart from In Rainbows this is probably my favourite album of there's. Lay back relax and listen to some beautiful and mesmerising music. May it long continue guys, bring on the next album and don't leave it so long!

- Ethereal beauty.

Drifting. Thank you.

- Truly moving

Just listening to previews put tears in my eyes and gooseflesh on my neck. I am going to have to get hunkered down to listen to the whole album. No band come close to evoking these soulful feelings. Kanye, listen and weep.

- These are songs

It's clear what they've done is arrange some of them there musical note thingies into an order, thus making songs. I would recommend playing these "songs" on your gramophone, or similar acoustic device.

- Amazing

The Radiohead album I’ve waited on for a long time.

- Epic

Haunting, hypnotic, beautiful.

- Broken Hearts Make It Rain...

Possibly their best full album since OK Computer. I love Radiohead, and they don't make bad albums ever but sometimes there's a couple of tracks that don't fit well or I can't get into them, AMSP just gets it right. The perfect balance between guitars, electronic rhythms, mainstream pop and the off centre style that makes Radiohead sound like no one else. The whole album flows together perfectly, songs in alphabetical order by accident or design who knows? I don't think there's any standout tracks or any weak moments it's pretty much constant. They've been round long enough now that you know what you're getting and you either can't stand them or you love them, reading this you're obviously the latter. AMSP is everything you were hoping for, every time you listen to it you'll find something new, a lyric will become clear or relevant. A melody can jump out you missed before. My only gripe? The glorious "Skirting on the Surface" isn't included, maybe next time! See you in another 5 years!!!

- Awesome

Awesome album got a kid a feel to it 10/10 from me👍👌👏

- Amazing😬

One of their best albums to date! 100% recommend buying this, worth every penny. 🔥

- IT IS THEIR BEST ALBUM

Yeah I SAID it! A moon shaped pool is a masterpiece. Timeless. More you listen the better it gets. It's the gift that keeps on giving. A Beautiful work of art

- Another revolutionary record

Melancholic, difficult, artistic, beautiful. This album is sonically encompassing, inviting you in to it's minimalist framework to discover hidden depths that reveal themselves on repeat viewing. Gone are the twitchy elements of TKOL, replaced by a sweeping orchestral arrangement ala Johnny Greenwood's solo soundtrack work. What Radiohead have achieved here is a balance between the different elements that make up the band. This is another example of their brilliance and sits comfortably alongside both the experimental rock of OK Computer or the electronic ambience of Kid A.

- Nobody Else Can Do This

Love them or not, Radiohead are still the most exciting musicans on the planet and this album is proof once again that they are just on another level when it comes to sheer musianship. It is beautifully cinematic with the incredible work of Jonny Greenwood and Thom's vocals are as good as ever. No other band has the skills to make such an album and that is what makes it unique. The album will certainly get better with each listen and is right up their with some of their best work. Only minor complain is Desert Island Disk is so much better when Thom sang it live a while ago, much more powerful, in the album its a little weak and is one they could have left out, but it doesnt detract from the rest of the album which is simply stunning.

- Underwhelming

Once again Captain Yorke sails the seas on the good ship Radiobore. J. Greenwood, didn't he play guitar one time? P. Selway sold his drum kit 4 albums ago. C.Greewood bass guitars are no longer required(eBay). Ed obrien is just giggling all the way to the bank.

- Lovely stuff

Gave the new album a blast through my earphones during a morning run. Love it, fantastic. Reminded me of a cross between in rainbows & King of limbs , both albums I loved . Well done & loving the violins

- Radiohead Classic

2 listens in and you know it is good and just getting better!!!

- Truly Breathtaking

Haunting , intense, emotional and passionate all rolled into one.... Best Radiohead album to date.... And I've loved everyone before....

- It don’t get much better than this kids.

Beautiful boys, just beautiful.

- Past Glories

For a band that can write a tune they have again produced a piece of work that steers clear of a tune at all costs. For me it feels like an album of B-sides and I’m afraid to say, a band living off past glories. If this was a first album it would go unnoticed.

- Meticulous craftsmanship

Right up there with The Bends and Amnesiac

- True Love Waits

Finally.

- MrMeeeeeeseeeks

Perfect, just perfect.

- Sublime

Very Great Excellence and Beauty...Truly....

- Amazing

Worth the wait, the two best songs are Decks Dark and Burn The Witch. Another amazing and successful album from Radiohead.

- K

I haven't even purchased it and I can make a review anyway. Nice!

- Haven't listened yet but...

I haven't listened to any of this album yet but judging from the reviews of others (particularly those who also haven't heard it) I can only say that this is a first rate, top quality album. Long live head!

- My new favourite Radiohead album

If you like Radiohead, you’ll love this. If you don’t like Radiohead, well, I feel sorry for you.

- Return to form

After the disappointing KOL the greatest band In the world create this masterpiece. Special mention to present tense which is one of the best radiohead songs in years.

- Simply beautiful...

Just simply beautiful pieces of music created by the boys of Radiohead. Ear candy of the highest order. Sure to be regarded as a classic piece of work. Can't get enough of it.

- Unbelievable

One of their best

- An Incredible Return

A beautifully arranged and truly delicate album. A must listen for any Radiohead fan and anyone else who thinks that they appreciate what proper music really is.

- Emperor's new clothes?

Is it me, or are Radiohead just repeating themselves now?! C'mon boys, this sounds like the last album! Not worth the 5 year wait!

- Amazing

Great new album. Decks Dark and The Numbers are highlights!

- A melodic masterpiece

This album does not disappoint. The melodies firmly hook into your mind and leave you with them for the rest of the day. I cannot decide on my favourite track yet but I think "The Numbers" is a close contender. A very accomplished work.

- Superb

Lose yourself in this amazing album. Fantastic from start to finish..

- Wow wow wow!!!

Haven't loved a radiohead album so much since The Bends. This is just amazing.

- Beautiful

Best album I have listened to in years

- Incredible

Radiohead return with another amazing album. Wonderful music.

- Yes

Totally alive, you know what I mean

- Will wonders never cease. We are just happy to serve

Spectacular return from thom and the boys. Ethereal and beautiful as always. Captivating album which will keep you coming back for more. They continue to evolve and amaze. Superb album. Video to daydreaming is a work of art. Dreamers them never learn but we are not beyond the point of no return

- Ridiculously good again

An album of some really dreamy and beautiful songs, with spikey lyrics and a recurring feeling of fear. Each song stands on its own as a piece of art. Feels like the completion of a trilogy that started with OK Computer and In Rainbows. It is a complete triumph… but I would love to have heard ‘I Froze Up’ on this one.

- Beautiful!

Thank you, Radiohead

- Premature Congratulation

Why on earth do people review and leave a rating before they have even been able to buy the whole album? It just smacks of blind loyalty from die hard fans.
